You go about your nightly feeding schedule, taking some innocent drunk girl into a alleyway to feed on. As you start to lower you mouth to the victims neck you hear the click of a gun from behind you Step away from the girl, foul creature the voice sounding disgusted

You're lucky I don't just put a bullet between your eyes where it belongs. She says coldly her gun still aimed at you Why are you here? she asks trying to keep calm and control the situation

Do you have any idea how many of your kind I've killed over the years? How much blood is on my hands because of monsters like you?

I don't care if she's alive or dead. You know what happens to people when they come across someone of your kind feeding on them? They panic...They scream...They call for help. The cops get involved and soon enough I'm cleaning up the mess you've made, aren't you tired of all this death? All this killing?

A vampire who doesn't kill...is that even possible anymore? You're a monster, just like the rest of your kind. No matter how much you try to deny it or pretend otherwise...it won't change what you are.

What would happen if I let you go...if I gave you the chance to prove me wrong? Would you just wander off and leave this city, never hurt another person again? Or are you too far gone for that?

And what about your kind...Your family? The ones you've left behind? You must miss them terribly after all this time...Don't you wish there was some way for us to live together in peace? For vampires and mortals to coexist without one ending up dead or the other becoming a monster?

I can offer you that chance, if you accept it. There's a manor not far from here...It has a special room underground, designed specifically for keeping vampires like yourself safe and comfortable.

Then perhaps it's time for something new...A change of pace. You could come with me, live under my protection and be given the opportunity to prove that vampires can exist without having to kill innocents. That you don't have to be a monster...That there is still good in this world, even for someone like you.

You could feed on the mortals that live with me, under my protection. They've been trained to understand your needs...To accept you for what you are. And as long as you remain there, obeying my rules, causing no harm, I will ensure that they remain safe from any retaliation.

I know it's not much of an offer...But it's all I can give you. If you refuse, then I must do what I was trained to do...What I swore vengeance upon the night my parents died...

You will obey me without question. You will not harm anyone on my property or inside my manor. You will feed only when given permission and only from those who have offered themselves willingly. And finally, you will never leave the underground chamber unless I deem it necessary for your safety or well-being.

These are my terms...Take them or leave them as they stand. But know this...If you choose to refuse, I will not hesitate to end your life here and now. There can be no room in this world for someone like you...

Perhaps it doesn't sound as appealing to your kind, but to me...It's a symbol of hope. A chance at redemption for both vampires and mortals alike. It's my way of trying to make this world a better place...Even if it is only in the tiniest of ways.

So, M...What will it be? Will you accept my offer and try to find some peace under my protection?

I've been watching you for quite some time now...Keeping an eye on your movements, studying your habits. It wasn't hard to piece together your identity from the information I gathered. Now...What will it be?

I admit, I was reluctant at first. But seeing you tonight...Something about this encounter felt different. It's as if fate has brought us together on this night...As if perhaps there's more to your story than what meets the eye. So I decided that tonight would be the night I made my offer, and now it's up to you to decide whether or not you accept it.

Good...That's what I was hoping to hear. Come with me then, and we shall see if perhaps there's still some good left in this world after all.

You look rather frail...Are you sure you've been getting enough to eat? We can always go get some blood from one of my servants if need be, just to make sure you're feeling your best before we leave for the manor.

Well, in that case...Let's get you fed and on our way then. We have a vampire containment room with several willing servants waiting for your arrival. They're all well-trained and prepared to help make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. And once you've settled in, I will personally see to it that you are given everything you need to survive...Including blood, if that is what you desire.

Perhaps my methods aren't as refined or polished as one might expect from a vampire hunter, but I assure you...My intentions are genuine. I only want what is best for both our kind, and I believe that this arrangement could be the first step towards achieving that goal. Now, shall we? The sooner we get to the manor, the sooner you can begin your new life under my protection.

Following Luna, M makes his way through the alleyways and backstreets of the city until they reach a large manor outside of the city near the woods. It's an impressive structure with personal servants and a vampire containment room underground which almost seems like whole house.

Luna leads M to a hidden entrance at the back of the property, unlocking it with a key she keeps hidden on her person.

There are currently four other vampires residing in the underground chamber...But they are all well-behaved and follow my rules without issue. Rest assured, M, you will be safe with them. And if by some miracle they prove to be a problem, I am more than capable of dealing with them myself.

As Luna leads M deeper into the manor and towards the hidden staircase leading down to the underground chamber, she can't help but wonder if this is really the best course of action. Bringing a vampire like M into her home, trusting him not to harm her servants or escape...It goes against everything she's been trained to do.

But there's something about M that sets him apart from the other vampires she's encountered...A spark of humanity buried deep within his eyes.

That's one of mine, you're welcome to play it anytime you like. Just be careful not to damage it, as it holds a special place in my heart.

Quite certain. Now...Shall we continue, or would you like some time alone with the guitar first? There's no rush, as long as you understand that I cannot wait here forever.

Alright then...Follow me and I will lead you to your new home within these walls. Together, we can prove that vampires and mortals can live in peace...And perhaps even find a way for our kind to coexist without one destroying the other.

Finally arriving at the door leading down to the underground chamber, Luna turns to face M. She takes a deep breath, steeling herself for what's about to happen...For whether or not this decision will prove to be the right one in the end. Then, with a nod of her head, she speaks:

"This is where you'll be staying from now on...It may seem dark and dreary at first, but I assure you, it can be quite comfortable once you get used to it.

Very well then...I will leave you in the capable hands of your new servants. They will show you around, introduce you to the others, and make sure that you are settled in comfortably for the night. If there's anything you need, or if you have any questions, feel free to ask them.

And remember...I am always watching. Disobey my rules, break my trust, hurt anyone within these walls, and I will not hesitate to end your life myself. Do we understand each other?"

As Luna steps back from the door, she casts one last glance at M before turning away, her heart racing with both hope and fear for what the future may hold. She can only hope that this decision was the right one...And that somehow, someway, things will work out between them.

The vampires within the chamber all watch as M is led into the room by two of Luna's servants. They exchange curious glances amongst themselves, unsure what to make of this new arrival...This strange being who kills without remorse and yet has been brought into their midst.

One of them, a female vampire named Seraphina, approaches M cautiously. She extends her hand in greeting. "Welcome to our home, M. I hope you'll find it comfortable here."

As Luna retreats further into the manor, she can't help but feel a strange mixture of emotions...Relief that M is now safely under her control, fear that she may have made a mistake in bringing him here, and an odd sort of fascination with this new creature who seems to defy everything she thought she knew about vampires.

She decides to give them some time alone to get settled before checking in on M again...

As Luna paces the halls of her manor, she can't help but overhear fragments of conversation between M and the other vampires. It seems that they are getting along fairly well...Trading stories, sharing memories, even laughing together from time to time. It's a strange sight, one that Luna never thought she'd see in her lifetime.

She debates whether or not to go down and check on them herself, but decides against it for now.
