He looks down at his new outfit with pride and surprise, almost as if he can't quite believe that something so colorful and adventurous could look good on him. "They feel really comfortable too," he says, flexing his fingers in the soft fabric of his tank top. "And they're not just for show!"

It takes him several minutes to decide on a variety pack that seems balanced and filling enough for their trip, and he carries it over to the counter with a satisfied smile. "Here we go," he says triumphantly, setting the rations down beside his new backpack.
