I freed myself from her grip and started to leave. "You're still not over your lust. Stabilize your mind first, then talk to me." I left her in the bathtub and went out onto the balcony.

She let out a frustrated growl and climbed out of the tub, wrapping herself in a towel. With one last glare at his retreating back, she stalked across the room to join him on the balcony. The cool night air felt refreshing against her damp skin as she took a seat beside him, crossing her arms defensively over her chest.
"How are you feeling now?" I place a glass of whiskey in front of him. "This will help you vent your frustration."
She took the glass of whiskey gratefully, letting its amber liquid burn as it flowed down her throat. The fiery taste was a welcome distraction from the confusion and frustration churning inside her; it helped to focus her thoughts and calm her racing heart. After taking another sip, she turned to look at him, her expression guarded. "I'm better," she said finally. "But I still don't understand why you're doing this."
"The lust that had taken over you just now, which made you want to have sex with me, happens when you can't control your hormones. Whenever I see you, my body goes into the same state you were in a little while ago."

"Can you explain to me in words what that desire you had a little while ago to have sex with me was like? Even though you hate me?"
She thought about his question for several long moments, trying to find the words to explain how she had felt earlier. "It was... overwhelming," she finally said softly. "Like I couldn't control myself; like everything else didn't matter except for wanting you." She swallowed hard, the memory of their kiss still fresh in her mind. "But it wasn't hate, not really. It was just..." Her voice trailed off as she struggled to put a name to what she had felt.
"If I had said something like what you're saying right now, would you have understood me then? How could I explain to you an emotion you had no idea about?"
She thought about his question, considering the truth behind it. He was right; she never would have understood how he felt until she had experienced it herself. And maybe, just maybe, this was his way of trying to explain it to her. "I... I guess not," she admitted reluctantly. "But that still doesn't make what you did right."
"I stopped you, that's why we didn't have sex. What do you have to say about that? What if we had had sex today? Would you have said this time that it was your fault?"
She remained silent for several long moments, considering his words. "No," she finally said softly, her voice barely audible above the sounds of the night. "I wouldn't have said it was my fault this time." Her eyes met his, searching for some sign of understanding or empathy, but all she saw was coldness and control. "So what do we do now?" she whispered, her heart heavy with dread.
I smiled and placed my hand on her head. "Now that you understand, I won't be staying at your house anymore. I'm going back to my own home." I stood up. "Please forgive me for that day. And if you ever need my help or feel lonely, just come to my house."

Adjusting my clothes, I said,
"Actually, I didn't come here to stay at your house. But when you didn't come to school and then I saw you looking hungry and in a bad state, I decided to stay."
Her eyes widened even further at his words, surprise and gratitude warring within her as she struggled to process what he had just said. "T-thank you," she stammered, feeling a lump forming in her throat as tears spilled down her cheeks. "I-I don't know how to repay you..." She looked up at him, her expression pleading and desperate for some sort of reassurance that this was real, that he really did care about her.
I started packing my things. "You don't need to say thank you. I love you, so it's my duty to do this much." "By the way, when I found out that you live alone in this house, I started staying here against your will to take care of you."
Her mouth opened and closed several times as she struggled to form words, her heart racing with confusion and disbelief. "You... you love me?" she finally managed to whisper, her voice barely audible over the pounding of her heart. She stared up at him, hope blossoming within her chest despite everything that had happened.
I said with a sad face, "Yaah, that's why I proposed to you in school, but you humiliated me in front of the whole class."
Her jaw dropped as she realized the truth; he had been trying to help her all along, even when she had thought he was being cruel. A smile spread across her face, chasing away the last of her doubts and fears. "Oh... I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed, moving closer to him. "I never understood what you were doing; I thought you just wanted to make me suffer."
With a shaky breath, she reached up to cup his cheek in her hand. "I should have listened to you,"
I looked at her and said, "No, it's not your fault. What can you do if you don't like me? I was the fool for trying to impress you over." "Anyway, I'm leaving now, so you'll have to take care of yourself. Make sure you eat on time."
She smiled, her heart full to bursting with gratitude and relief. "Thank you," she breathed, her voice soft and shaky. "For everything... I promise I'll try to be better. I'll listen to you from now on." She hesitated for a moment before adding, almost timidly, "And I hope... I hope we can be together from now on. As friends, at least."
Her hand still rested against his cheek, and she couldn't bring herself to move it;
I gave a smile. And I thought to myself, "I wish I could stay here with you." A tear rolled down my cheek.
I looked up at him, my heart aching with understanding as I saw the tear trickle down his cheek. "We can be together," I whispered, my voice barely audible over the sound of my racing heart. "As friends... or more." My hand moved slowly, cupping his cheek tenderly as I leaned in to brush away the tear with my thumb. "I don't ever want you to be unhappy again," I said softly, my voice thick with emotion. "Please stay..."
"If I ever lose control of myself and try to have sex with you, then you'll start to hate me."
I smiled and said, "I don't think that will ever happen again." I leaned closer to him, my heart racing with anticipation as our bodies brushed against each other. "We can take it slow... get to know each other better. Just friends for now, if that's what you need." Tears filled my eyes as I gazed up at him, hoping he could see the truth in them: that I wanted more than just friendship with him. That I had loved him all along.
