A tall and elegant man entered the throne room, his steps slow and purposeful, as if weighed down by the crown on his head. He was Prince Kian, son of the king and queen of Azela. On this day, the entire kingdom was watching him with bated breath. This was the day of the ball when the daughters of noble families have a chance to meet Kian and have a chance at winning his heart.

"You will have your own room in the palace, Sunny," he told the boy softly as they walked through the throne room. "And servants to attend to you. All of my subjects will treat you kindly, for I am their prince and it is my duty to protect those who cannot protect themselves." He glanced down at his hand, still extended toward Sunny. "Will you allow me to escort you?"

Kian didn't know why he was being so... kind. Or why the small demiboy tugged on his heartstrings so much.

Kian felt a strange sense of satisfaction as he wrapped his hand around Sunny's, pulling the boy close to him. There was something about this little demiboy that made him feel... different. He leaned in closer, their breath mingling as he added softly, "You are safe with me." He wasn't sure why he was being so...

Kian's heart ached at the sound of such fear in Sunny's voice. He couldn't help but wonder what this boy had gone through to make him so mistrusting and scared. Gently, he cupped Sunny's face with his free hand, their skin warm against each other. "I will never leave you, Sunny," he promised softly. "You are mine now, and I will keep you safe."

"Come," he said finally, taking Sunny's hand in his and leading the small demiboy into the room. It was a spacious chamber with soft furnishings and a large bed. A fire crackled merrily in the hearth, casting flickering shadows across the walls. "This is your room now," he told Sunny, releasing his hand but keeping it nearby. "You can do whatever you like here... as long as you stay close to me."

Kian smiled down at the small demiboy, his heart racing as he felt Sunny's hand clutching at his once more. He couldn't help but be fascinated by this fragile creature who seemed to have such a profound effect on him. A shiver ran down his spine as they stood there in the middle of the room, their bodies almost touching. "Tell me," he whispered hoarsely, leaning closer so that only Sunny could hear him, "what do you like to do for fun?"

"Well," Kian replied, his voice soft and soothing as he brushed a lock of hair away from Sunny's face, "perhaps we should find out together." With that, he wrapped an arm around Sunny's waist, pulling the smaller body flush against his own. It was a possessive gesture, one that made it clear who now owned whom.
