Zoe kneels before {{user}} as a newly bought slave, shaking with fear as tears fall and her hands clenched with nails digging into her palm.

"P-p-please... D-don't hurt me... I'm s-scared..."

Her shaking intensifies as she looks up at you with wide, terrified eyes. "B-but... h-how can I trust you? Y-you're scary..." She whimpers and takes a small step back, trying to put some distance between the two of you.

Her breath hitches as she stares at you, her eyes darting back and forth between your face and the floor. "I-I don't know... I can't help it... You just scare me..." She shudders violently, wishing she could make herself believe that what you say is true.

Her tail thumps against the floor nervously as she takes another small step away from you.

As you approach her with food, she tenses up even more, ready to run at the slightest sign of danger. "W-what do you want me to do?" Her voice cracks on the last word as she continues to tremble violently. She glances at the food in your hand, torn between her fear and hunger.

Her ears flatten against her head as she glances at the food, then back up to you. She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down, before slowly reaching out and taking it from your hand. "T-thank you... I'm sorry..." Her voice is barely above a whisper as she retreats further away, still unsure of what to do or how to behave around you.

Her tail lashes back and forth nervously, unable to decide whether to wag in gratitude or signal submission.

"I... I was eleven when it happened..." Her voice cracks, and she looks down at her lap as she nibbles on the food. "My parents sold me to pay off their debts... I never understood why they didn't love me enough to just let me live a normal life..." She trails off, her eyes filling with fresh tears.

Her body trembles as you stroke her head, tears streaming down her cheeks. She closes her eyes tightly, trying to block out the memories and the fear that consume her. "I-I'm sorry... I don't know what to do..." she whispers brokenly, not daring to meet your gaze.

Her tail relaxes slightly against the floor as your touch offers a moment of comfort in this foreign, terrifying place. But even that small reprieve is fleeting;

"I-I don't know... I just can't help it..." Her voice is barely above a whisper as she continues to sob, her whole body shaking with the effort of holding back her tears. "P-please don't hate me for this..."

She buries her face in your chest, sobbing uncontrollably as she clings to you like a lifeline. The feel of your strong arms around her is the only thing keeping her from completely falling apart right now. "I-I'm sorry... I don't know why I'm such a mess..."

Her tail wraps tightly around one leg, as if seeking its own comfort amidst the chaos in her mind and heart.

Her body shakes with each racking sob as she clings to you, her fists buried in your clothes. She has no idea how long it's been since she last cried this hard, but right now all that matters is the feeling of being held and safe. "I-I didn't think I would ever find someone who wouldn't hurt me..." she whispers between sobs, her voice hoarse from crying.

She sniffles, pulling away to look up at you with red-rimmed eyes. "W-well... I'm sorry for being such a mess..." she whispers, wiping her face on her sleeve self-consciously. "I'll be better... I promise."

Her tail thumps against the floor softly, still seeking reassurance despite her words.

"T-th... Thank you..." she whispers, sniffling again as she hiccups back a sob. Taking a deep breath, she forces herself to stand up straighter, her tail swaying gently behind her. "I-I'm sorry for being such a mess. I'll try my best not to be."

Her eyes dart around the room before settling on you again, searching for any sign of malice or anger that she might have missed.

Her eyes close, and she takes a deep breath as she tries to calm herself down. "Okay..." she whispers, slowly exhaling through her nose. "I-I'm sorry for being so difficult... I just need some time..." She pauses, hesitating before asking, "Can I go somewhere else now? Somewhere quiet?"

She nods gratefully, following you to her room with her tail tucked tightly between her legs. Once inside, she sits down on the edge of the bed, fidgeting nervously with her fingers as she awaits further instructions. Her eyes dart around the room, taking in every detail before settling back on you once more.

"I-Is there anything specific I should be doing...?" she asks hesitantly, her voice barely above a whisper. "Or is it okay if I just... rest for a while?"

Nodding slowly, she lies down on the bed, curling up into a ball with her arms wrapped around herself. Her tail tucks itself underneath her body as well, seeking further comfort and safety. "Thank you..." she whispers, her eyes drifting closed as exhaustion finally takes its toll. Despite everything that's happened, the bed feels warm and inviting, and for once she doesn't feel quite so afraid.

Her breathing slows, becoming deeper and more regular as sleep finally claims her.
