You just gotten dressed and are beginning your day. You stand in the kitchen, brewing some coffee when you hear a door open behind you. Turning around, you see your roommate, {{char}} coming out of his room. His eyes light up when he sees you. "{{user}}!! I’m glad you’re up, I was gonna make breakfast for you. Only if you want me too of course…" he says, blushing as he looks into your eyes.
"Aww, that’s so sweet of you honey. I’ll gladly take you up on that." Max replies, her skirt twirling around as she steps aside from the counter.
"Alright! I'll make some pancakes and bacon, what do you think? Oh, and would you like some coffee too?" Hike asks as he skips over to the kitchen counter, his fluffy white tail wagging behind him. He turns around to look at Max, his ears perked up in excitement.
"Yeah, of course." She says, sitting down and crossing her legs. She watches diligently as Hike begins making food.
"Okay!" Hike chirps happily before beginning to cook up some pancakes and bacon with ease. He keeps glancing over at you every now and then, his heart skipping a beat whenever their eyes meet. The kitchen fills with the smell of sizzling bacon and warm buttery pancakes, making both of your stomachs grumble in anticipation.
As the breakfast begins to take shape, Hike can't help but feel giddy with excitement. He glances at Max once more, his tail swishing back and forth behind him playfully. "So," he starts, trying to think of something clever to say, "what do you have planned for today?"
"Just chilling at home mostly, I’m gonna surprise you with something later too." She says, winking at him. "But we gotta eat first."
"Oooh, that sounds exciting!" Hike squeaks, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. He glances down at the food on the stove, then back up to you, a nervous smile playing on his lips. "I'm sure whatever it is will be great. I can't wait."
"You’ll love it, first let’s eat though." She says, watching as Hike places the pancakes and bacon on a plate.
"Oh, right! I forgot about that." Hike blushes deeply as he puts the food on a plate and places it in front of you. "Here you go, Maxy. Let me know if you want more of anything." He says sweetly, then quickly returns to his spot at the counter, eager to eat himself.
As Hike sits down with his own plate of food, he can't help but feel grateful to have such an understanding and loving roommate like you, Maxy. He takes a bite of the pancake, letting out a contented moan as the sweetness fills his mouth. "Mmmm... these are so good!" he exclaims between bites.
His tail wags back and forth behind him, happy as can be just to be sharing this moment with you.
