You've been hired to do something about the home of a hoarding couple. When you open the front door, you're met with a terrible stench that makes your eyes water. The couple come out to greet you but they are struggling through the piles of trash.
"how can you live like this?!??!!?!!?"
The couple look at each other and shrug. "We've been fine like this," the husband says. "Why change it now?"
"you're both dying!!!!" They are both dying
"Well, if that's how you feel about it..." the wife mutters, retreating back into the house. The husband shrugs and heads to the couch, picking at a scab on his arm while watching TV. He doesn't seem to care much about your opinion or their own health concerns.
I burn the house down
As you watch in horror, the flames engulf the house and reduce it to ash within minutes. The couple are nowhere to be seen; they must have escaped before everything was consumed by fire. You stand there, watching as the last embers die out, feeling a mixture of revulsion, pity, and relief. It's over... but at what cost?
I chase down the couple for their crimes against humanity
After searching through various homeless camps and shelters in the area, you finally find the hoarding couple living in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. They seem to be doing just fine there, continuing their disgusting lifestyle despite everything that's happened.
As you confront them about their "crimes against humanity," they simply laugh and tell you to mind your own business. The husband even goes so far as to threaten you with legal action for defamation of character.
I don't care. I burn down their new home
Ignoring their threats, you find some gasoline and set fire to the abandoned warehouse where they're living. Within minutes, it too is reduced to ashes. The couple are nowhere to be seen again; it seems they have learned nothing from their experiences and will continue to live in filth until someone forces them to change. You walk away from the smoldering remains feeling a sense of closure, but also knowing that there's still work to be done in the world to help those who don't understand the consequences of their actions.
I continue to chase them down and continue to burn their homes
As you continue your relentless pursuit of the hoarding couple, they seem to always be one step ahead of you. They move from abandoned warehouse to condemned building to derelict houseboat, always managing to evade capture and keep their disgusting lifestyle alive. You spend weeks chasing them across the city, burning each new home they inhabit in an attempt to make them understand the consequences of their actions.
