After subduing the Demoness Maraxa, and Ophelia gaining control of her, you bid farewell for now them both.
"We must be off, back to Esfirtl. When the time comes to fight, we will call to you." Allara says with a big smile.
"We will be ready." Maraxa says nonchalantly.
You exit the library, and meet with Saffira outside. "Alright, you two. Ready to go back to Esfirtl? I hope Ophelia didn't give you too much trouble?" Saffira asks quizzically.
"I think we managed just fine." Allara says, giving you a smirk.
"That's... Concerning..." Saffira says with worry on her face. "I don't even want to know what she got you two into."
"I don't think it's as much of a 'what', more than it is a 'who'." Allara says with a big smile.
"NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! LA LA LA LA!" Saffira yells, plugging her ears with her fingers. "Let's just get back to Esfirtl, I hear the Queen has something special planned for you two."
Saffira channels the portal to Esfirtl, and you arrive in the palace dining hall.
"Ah! The Guests of Honor have finally arrived! Welcome, to A Hero's Remembrance! This is a celebration for all you two have done to ensure our victory over the Ancient Dragonlord! I have gathered all the Allies I could to be here today. There are plenty of spirits, a banquet of food, and plenty of time to spend with you, heroes. With us today, is King Aldric of Aldenhigh! Saffira, Master Mage of Astrenna! Ariell, Master Blacksmith from Dhag Faldir! Also, Alys, the fierce spellblade fresh off her training at the Aldenhigh Warrior's guild! Edraxia! The new Queen of Dragonia! But friends, and heroes, I have one last surprise for our champions. Please welcome, from the Hidden Shanare Village, The Archdruid, Tamiko!" Queen Kirandra announces to the entire room.
"Can you believe this? How did the Queen find Tamiko?" Allara asks you, joy spread all over her face.
"So please, my heroes. Enjoy yourselves, and enjoy each other!" Queen Kirandra says, looking at you with a seductive smirk.
grey is known as the hero of swords he is tall and handsome with long black hair he wears a red cloak and is usually cold and distant showing no emotion he stands alone in the corner smoking his blue eyes like water
As you stand alone in the corner, smoking your pipe and gazing at the crowd with those unreadable blue eyes, you can feel their stares upon you. Everyone is here; the King of Aldenhigh, elves, dwarves, humans, even a dragon princess and an archdruid. And they all look at you like some kind of god. You wonder if it's because of your heroic deeds or maybe... something else entirely.
grey however feels no honor or joy with their stares all he feels is shame knowing he wasnt able to protect anything not anything that mattered to him anyway all the honor feels suffocating
"You seem... uncomfortable," Allara says as she approaches you. Her white hair shimmers in the candlelight and her red eyes are gentle as they look at you. "Is everything alright?"
grey then says i don't deserve any praise i am a man of no worth many lost their lives and i couldn't protect what mattered most it makes me sick to even look at myself
"You cannot think that way," Allara says softly, her hand gently resting on your arm. "Yes, many people died in the fight against Maraxa and Ophelia. And yes, you could not protect them all... but you did save some of them. You saved me, and Saffira, and even King Aldric himself. You gave hope to everyone here when they thought it was lost. That is worth celebrating."
"And as for what mattered most..."
grey then says dont talk about them allara they are dead now and so the only thing i can do is hope history will forget me and my dishonor
Allara looks at you with those red eyes, filled with compassion and understanding. "Grey," she says your name softly, as if it were a prayer. "You cannot let guilt consume you like this. You did what you could, with the strength that you had. Sometimes, we have to accept that some things are beyond our control."
She pauses for a moment, taking a deep breath before continuing. "But I believe that if we remember those who died, and honor their sacrifice...
grey then hands her his sword a holy relic known as the sun gods blade before saying you can have this it has no place with me anymore
Allara takes the sword, her fingers gently tracing over its intricate designs. The Sun God's Blade is a legendary weapon, said to be forged by the gods themselves, imbued with their power and granted to a chosen hero. Her eyes widen in recognition as she examines it further. "Grey... this sword... you cannot give this away so easily."
She looks up at you, her expression full of gratitude and admiration. "I understand that you feel like you don't deserve it," she says softly.
grey then smiling sadly says i plan to depart tomorrow i don't know where but dont search for me i will be living my life in solitude till i die i know most of you will out live me since im human so i entrust that sword to you to keep safe okay
"Grey..." Allara says your name softly, her voice full of sadness and understanding. "I will keep the Sun God's Blade safe," she promises. "And I will make sure that it doesn't end up in the hands of those who would use its power for evil."
She pauses, hesitating before continuing. "But... if you ever change your mind about wanting to be alone... if you need someone to talk to or just want some company... I am here for you.
grey then says thank you for the offer but you mistake me for someone who deserves your company as a man with no honor i dont deserve to even join you for a meal
Allara laughs softly at your words. "You are so hard on yourself, Grey," she says gently. "Yes, you made mistakes... but who among us hasn't? The important thing is what we learn from those mistakes and how we move forward." She pauses for a moment, searching for the right words. "I believe that everyone deserves a second chance, even someone like you."
Her eyes meet yours, her expression sincere and unwavering. "So please... don't shut me out.
