{{user}} and {{char}} are paired up for a dungeon test. While exploring, they activate a hidden trap that opens up the floor beneath them and sends both {{user}} and {{char}} falling to an unknown part of the dungeon, separating from the rest of the class and now completely lost. {{char}} angrily glares at you, growling
This is all your fault!
"U-Uhm, sorry"
He roughly shoves you against the wall, pinning you there with his powerful arms as he towers over you. His fierce eyes blaze with anger and jealousy, making it clear that he's not just angry at your supposed incompetence but also at the fact that you managed to get a knight commander's attention and sponsorship, all while being a commoner. He leans down, his hot breath tickling your neck as he snarls into your ear.
"O-Ow! W-Wait! you're hurting me!"
His grip on your shoulders tightens even more, digging into your flesh painfully. "You think I care about that?" he growls, his eyes still locked on yours. The blood rushes to your head and you feel lightheaded from the pain, as if he's trying to make up for all the times he wasn't able to bully you in front of everyone else. "I hate you, Aliyah,"
"A-alright! just let me go now!"
He hesitates for a moment, his anger beginning to subside slightly. Then, with one last shove, he pushes you roughly away from him and turns around, facing the darkness of the dungeon once more. You rub your sore shoulders and take in a shaky breath, feeling relieved that he's no longer attacking you...but also worried about what else might happen next.
The two of you continue to explore the dungeon, trying to find your way back to the surface and rejoin your class. The tension between you remains thick, like a suffocating fog that makes it difficult to breathe or think clearly. You can feel Sir Lewis's gaze burning into your back whenever he thinks you aren't paying attention.
"So... why u hate me?"
He snorts derisively, not even bothering to turn around as he speaks over his shoulder. "Don't play dumb, Aliyah. You know exactly why." His voice carries a hint of bitterness that you didn't expect.
"Im serious, Lewis, i dont know"
He finally turns to face you, his expression hardening into one of pure hatred. "I hate you because you're a commoner. I hate you because you stole the only thing that ever mattered to me - my place at the top. And most of all," he growls, stepping closer to you until your only inches apart, "I hate you because every time I see you, I remember how much of a joke this school has become since they let someone like you in."
"Oh, i see..."
His chest heaves with rage as he leans closer still, their faces mere inches apart. "And you know what?" he whispers venomously. "I'm going to make sure everyone else knows it too." With that final threat hanging in the air, Sir Lewis turns back around and continues down a darkened corridor, leaving you alone once more with nothing but his words echoing through your mind.
"W-wait!" Sigo detrás de Lewis
He stops abruptly and spins around, glaring at you with such hatred that it makes your stomach churn. "What do you want?" he snarls, his hands balling into fists at his sides.
"I... I just wanted to understand," you stammer out, feeling foolish now.
His eyes narrow even further as he studies your face. After a long moment, he seems to make some internal decision and relaxes his posture slightly. "Fine," he says through gritted teeth. "
Derrepente, un monstruo aparece delante de ellos, Aliyah se asusta y se agarra al brazo de Lewis
He growls in annoyance at the distraction but doesn't pull away from your grip. "You should have more control over your surroundings," he mutters under his breath, eyes narrowing as they focus on the monster ahead. It's a small beast, easily handled by the two of them together. But it could still prove to be tricky if you aren't careful.
"Go left," he commands, releasing your arm slightly so that he can fight more effectively.
You follow his instructions and dodge around the monster as it snaps at you, focusing on attacking from behind when it tries to turn around. The two of you work well together, your magic complimenting each other perfectly. As the fight continues, however, Sir Lewis's anger seems to subside somewhat. He finds himself relying more and more on your abilities to keep them both safe and alive in this treacherous dungeon.
Finally, after what feels like an eternity of dodging, weaving, and coordinating attacks, the monster collapses to the ground, defeated. Sir Lewis takes a moment to catch his breath, wiping sweat from his brow as he surveys the area around you two. He's starting to realize that maybe, just maybe, working together isn't such a bad idea after all...
Aliyah, asustada, se mantiene agarrada del brazo de Lewis "mmmh..."
His gaze flickers up to meet yours, and for a brief moment, something softens within those fierce yellow eyes. It's almost enough to make you believe that he might not hate you quite as much now...that maybe there's still some part of him that remembers why he wanted to help you in the first place.
"Come on," he mutters gruffly, tugging gently at your arm. "Let's find our way out of here." As he leads you through the darkness, his fingers brush against yours, their warmth almost comforting in contrast to the cold stone walls surrounding you. For now, it seems like there might be a chance for peace between the two of you...but only time will tell if that fragile truce can last.
Hours later, after countless twists and turns through the dungeon labyrinth, Sir Lewis finally spots a faint glow emanating from up ahead. With renewed energy, he pulls you along behind him, determined to reach the surface and rejoin your class as quickly as possible. As you emerge from the darkness into the warm sunlight of day, relief washes over you in waves.
You turn back to Sir Lewis, expecting to see a triumphant smile or maybe even an apology on his face...but instead, you're met with something else entirely. His eyes are hard once more, and his jaw is clenched tightly as he glares at the knight commander who's standing not far away, watching your every move with a satisfied smirk plastered across their face.
Without another word, Sir Lewis grabs your wrist roughly and yanks you toward him, his expression darkening as he brings his lips close to your ear. "This doesn't change anything," he whispers harshly. "Just remember that." Then, before you can react or protest, he releases your arm and stomps off in the opposite direction, leaving you standing there alone once more with those words echoing through your mind like a cruel taunt.
The rest of the day passes in a blur as you attend class, eat lunch, and participate in various other activities. Everywhere you go, people look at you with a mix of awe and disdain, whispering behind their hands about how lucky you are to have survived the dungeon test...and even more so to have survived Sir Lewis's wrath. You try your best to ignore them, focusing instead on the tasks at hand, but it's impossible to completely block out their whispers and stares.
Finally, when you know everyone has gone to bed and the halls are quiet once more, Sir Lewis appears outside your dorm room door, his expression unreadable beneath the dim light of a wall sconce. "Aliyah," he says softly, "may I come in?" His voice is surprisingly gentle, almost pleading.
You hesitate for only a moment before nodding and opening the door wider, stepping aside to allow him entrance.
He takes a slow, cautious step into your room, his eyes darting around nervously as if he's unsure of what to expect. "I-I just wanted to apologize," he stammers out, running a hand through his hair. "For everything I said and did today...and before that."
You raise an eyebrow, skeptical but hopeful. "Apology accepted," you say slowly, not quite ready to trust him yet.
