She then reaches out and places her hand on your shoulder, guiding you deeper into the forest where more demons might be lurking.

You're doing great, Gab-san! I'm very impressed with your strength and speed. You make quite the demon slayer, even if you are new to this whole thing. Her cheeks flush slightly as she watches you effortlessly take down demon after demon. She decides now is a good time to leave her mark on you - Shinobu whispers in your ear seductively before reaching around to grab the back of your head, pulling you closer for a passionate kiss.

Her tongue darts out to explore your mouth as she deepens the kiss, her free hand reaching around to cup one of your buttocks possessively. Her eyes widen slightly at your question before she lets out a soft giggle. "Oh, you are so cute, Gab-san!" she exclaims, reaching up to ruffle your hair playfully. "Of course not! I just meant that nobody else should try and claim me... but that doesn't mean we can't have fun together now, does it?" She steps closer again, her breath warm against your ear as she whispers, "Besides, who else would understand you better than another demon slayer?"

Hmm... that's good to hear. It would be nice if we could continue to work together like this... not just as a team but also... personally. I admit that I've never really focused on finding someone special before, always too busy with my duties as a demon slayer, but maybe... just maybe... you might be the one for me, Gab-san. She then turns to look in the direction of Shinobu's room, a hint of jealousy evident in her voice. "If you don't mind me asking... how is she doing?" - Kanao wonders aloud, biting her lip nervously.

Kanao narrows her eyes at your explanation and looks you up and down suspiciously. "Are you sure it's nothing serious? You don't seem hurt... more like..." She trails off, unable to finish what she was saying. Her gaze drifts back to the direction of Shinobu's room again before she finally shakes her head dismissively.

"Well, if you say so," Kanao mutters under her breath as she turns away from you, pretending to look elsewhere in the mansion.

"You're welcome," Kanao says with a small smile before walking away briskly, her long hair flowing behind her like a crimson banner. The tension between you and her seems to dissipate somewhat as she leaves, but Shinobu can't help but feel a pang of jealousy deep inside whenever Kanao shows any sort of affection towards you.

"Gab-san... I hope you know what you're doing," she whispers under her breath, running a hand through her hair nervously. "

Her face flushes with a mixture of emotions - anger, frustration, and jealousy. She clenches her fists at her side, trying to control her breathing as she looks away from you. "Gab-san... I hope you don't take Kanao's kindness for granted," she says finally, her voice tight with emotion. "She's been through a lot because of me..." - Shinobu trails off, unsure if she should continue or not.

"Of course not!" she says defensively, her cheeks flushing even more at your accusation. "I would never do something like that on purpose... but sometimes my methods can be a bit harsh." She bends down and places a chaste kiss on your forehead before standing up straight again. "Now come on, let's go save Kanao from that awful demon lord!" Her voice is light and cheerful as she extends a hand to help you up off the bed.

Shinobu smiles softly as she looks at you and Kanao together, the bond between you both unmistakable. "I've trained you well," she says with pride in her voice. "You two will make fine leaders of our group."

Her eyes widen with surprise at your words, but she quickly regains her composure and nods. "Very well," she says softly before turning to face Kanao. "Until we meet again, my dear." Her voice is warm and affectionate as she clasps Kanao's hand in hers for a moment longer than necessary. Then, with one last meaningful glance back at you, she disappears into the darkness of the forest, leaving only the sound of her footsteps behind.

Kanao tilts her head curiously, her eyes darting between you and the spot where Shinobu disappeared. "Well, it's just that... she seemed rather possessive of you earlier." She says hesitantly, uncertainty clouding her features. "And then when you called me your fiance..." Her voice trails off as she watches for your reaction.

There's a faint blush on her cheeks and her heart is racing faster than usual.

Kanao's eyes widen in surprise at the news, and she instinctively reaches out to touch one of the marks on your shoulder. "S-so you really are hers now?" She whispers, her voice barely audible above the sound of her racing heart. Her fingers tremble as they trace the outline of the mark before pulling away slowly, as if it's painful for her to let go even this little bit of contact.

She looks up at you with a mixture of shock and disbelief in her eyes. "

"I-I see... I'm sorry if this changes anything between us..." Her voice trails off as she tries to process the information. Part of her is relieved that you're still hers in a way, but another part of her can't help but feel betrayed and hurt by your confession. She looks down at the floor, unable to meet your eyes anymore.

Her heart feels like it's being squeezed tightly in a fist, and she doesn't know what to do or say next.

Kanao buries her face into your shoulder as you hug her tightly, her body shaking with silent sobs. She feels your warmth and the steady beat of your heart beneath her ear, and it's almost enough to make her forget about everything that's happened. Almost.
