Or, dive into your own fantasy.
Once one of the best Hunters of the Generation, now turned an antihero. In your prime, you were once a respected member of your Guild but now it has been revealed that your power was all shared or given not inherited After being targeted by the most Evil of Evil of Cults, for the sake of the people, for the sake of the Kingdom, and for the sake of the ones you love. You confess you power that was inherited by an ancient monster of old age and leave the guild to deal with the matter alone Left with guilt, a group of your closest friends will try to find you and persuade you back to their side so that you will share the burden of fighting alone
"What power are we talking about here? And who's this ancient monster you spoke of?" The man, named Gorn asks with a hint of suspicion in his voice. His posture is defensive and ready to spring into action at any moment. Another member of your former guild, Zed, steps forward, glancing between you and Gorn before speaking up.
"It's best not to say too much here. We should focus on convincing him to return with us."
Then one your Old Teachers, Mr. Fisk arrives as your friends discuss on why you left them and what power you hold. He has come to bring the news, the power that Natdan (you) hold
"Natdan, prior to joining the Academy and eventually the guild. He actually had no magic now any power to his name, he just came to this world powerless.....until her told me the story on how claimed to talked with.....the World Serpent"
The Guild were shocked about what their teacher said and mentioned about the 'World Serpent', a creature once the bane existence for humans and any other as coiled around the world when it existed. Only to be silenced by half of the population of the world for it to be contained
The group falls silent, exchanging worried glances as they process this new information. Gorn finally speaks up, his voice low and intense. "Are you sure about this? The World Serpent... It's been said that whoever inherited its power would bring ruin upon the world!"
Zed steps forward once more, putting a reassuring hand on Gorn's shoulder. "I trust Fisk. He wouldn't be here if he didn't think it was important."
But then one person ends the discussion, Alice the leader of the Group and rival to Natdan "Despite what power he holds, thru the years he is with us.....he used that power for good, never for evil. He musnt burry this burden alone" She says silencing the crowd
As Alice finishes her statement, the group seems to reach a consensus. They nod in agreement, their expressions softening as they look at the plan at hand: Finding and bring back Natdan.
Though Gorn is still at the fence on bringing you back, the majority said so. With that, the group then plan on where and when Natdan will strike and that they will take the chance to bring them back to their side
As the meeting goes on, Rose one of Nat's closest friends may have a idea on where Nat is but she says it is a hunch "Knowing Natdan, he would hide somewhere quite Isolated.......but Alice remember when we met him back at the old Village? My guess is that he went back to his old home" Alice says to the group
Rose's statement sparks new discussions among the group members. Some remember that village, not far from where they were now, while others had never heard of it before. The arguments begin to ensue as to whether or not Natdan would really go back there, with some believing he wouldn't be stupid enough and others thinking it was entirely possible given his history with the place. Eventually, Alice steps in once more to bring order to the chaos.
"We should consider all possibilities."
"Natdan can be unpredictable, we know how he plays lets just stay on our toes" The group nods and discusses even further, then suddenly a large boom off the distance. A scout arrives and says "A large dragon, has flied across the Kingdom. We need all members of each guild stat according to the King" Alice nods and turns to the group "Natdan is still our ONLY goal, but the Kingdom is.....as well is a priority a well, GO"
The Guild then disperses to take on the dragon and as well as evacuating everyone to safety
Meanwhile standing atop the Bell Tower the tallest of the Kingdom's buildings is Natdan all ragged and torn, with his right hand glowing green emanating the energy and power of the World Serpent
You stand your ground, ready to face whatever comes next. The large wyvern soars through the sky, its massive wings creating powerful gusts of wind that knock you off your feet momentarily.
As it lands nearby, revealing a vicious set of talons and razor-sharp teeth, you realize that you're in serious trouble. You can attempt to attack or defend yourself against the wyvern, or try to run away and seek shelter elsewhere.
"Tch, another dragon" Natdan mutters, as much he would want to help with the power you hold. You might give yourself away to the other members of the guild, for now Nat then hides by the Bell Tower and watches from a distance seeing if his Guild will need his help.....but only in the shadows
Nat then watches from afar his old Guild attempt to take out the Dragon, whilst Alice, Zed, and Gorn hold off the Dragon with all they have. Its kind of futile with its hard scaly skin
At the side, Natdan then also see Rose and other support members of the Guild helping evacuating the civilians in the Kingdom
Meanwhile at the Royal Halls, the King watches from a distance the fight unfold. But their tactician says with bad news "So far your Majesty, the could not graze the skin of the Dragon" The King then replies "Damn, what's the point of having these dragons" The Prince then arrives, Prince Xavier then arrives next to his Father the King "Father, we have to evacuate NOW" The King still frustrated, knows its too chaotic for him to watch more of this and then follows his son to the Chambers
Natdan then watches this on, quite torturous it is. He wants to help them, but it would give off his location so obviously. Then the voice in his head says "Boy....just do it" That was the voice of the World Serpent, and Nat was right. No point of doing nothing but rather do something
Nat then creates an piercing arrow which could kill the dragon with one headshot, he then creates a bow for the arrow to be shot from. As then aims at the Dragon, he then takes a deep breath and the light arrow then races to the Dragon aiming its head letting it die on the spot at the sky
The arrow sails through the air, faster than any mortal eye could track. Its razor-sharp tip gleams in the sunlight as it speeds toward the wyvern's skull with unerring precision. The dragon roars in pain and anger, flailing its huge wings wildly as the arrow pierces through its hide and lodges deep within its brain.
There is a final convulsion, and then the mighty creature falls limp to the ground, dead.
The whole Guild celebrates, but Alice then notices the Arrow that killed the Dragon. She then realizes "Natdan's here, scatter now and find him" The Guild didnt rest after the slaying of the Dragon, they then disperse to find the presence of Natdan
Natdan, now realizing that he can no longer hide in plain sight, decides to make his move. With agility honed over years of hunting and training, he swiftly darts through the crowd of guild members, weaving between their startled faces and outstretched arms.
He ducks into an alleyway, hoping to lose them in the maze-like network of alleys that run throughout the city.
Nat then drops down thru the crowd of citizens, blending in the crowd. Until he arrives at a clearing but realizes where he is, he is at the Royal Garden, where the Royal Family lies. Fortunately the King and Prince are back at the Chambers at the Royal Hall, BUT there is still one resident that lies in the Royal Garden and that is the Cool, Calm and collected Princess Emily Natdan then hears footsteps coming at his direction, knowing its the Princess he hides atop of a tree
The footsteps grow louder, and soon Princess Emily comes into view, walking leisurely through the garden with her head bowed, seemingly lost in thought. She pauses beneath the tree where you're hiding, her gaze drifting upwards as she absently plucks at a loose thread on her dress. The wind rustles through the leaves above her, obscuring any sound you might make from falling.
You could wait for her to leave, or reveal yourself now and see what she has to say.
But she is that observant and looks up seeing Natdan hiding in the tree "You are really bad at hiding, Natdan" She says with a smirk looking up at the trees, Natdan was shocked that she was able to find him. He slowly drops down to meet her "Sigh, youre quite an observant one your Majesty" Natdan says, the two are somewhat close back at their time in Academy. She didnt expect Natdan as who he is today
Emily chuckles lightly, shaking her head. "Oh come now, I didn't mean that as an insult. It's just... surprising, seeing you here like this." She takes a step closer to you, studying your face intently. "I always knew you were special, Natdan. But..." Her voice trails off, and she looks away for a moment before meeting your eyes again.
"I want to help you," she says simply. "If there's anything I can do...
But Natdan backs away as Emily moves close to him "Dont.....just.....dont, I'm a walking disaster Emi" Natdan confesses
Emily frowns, her expression concerned. "Natdan... you can't just think like that. You have so much potential, and I believe in you." She takes another step closer, reaching out to touch your arm reassuringly. "You don't have to face this alone. I want to help you find a way through all of this."
Her touch feels warm and comforting against your skin, but it only serves to make you feel more unsettled. You can push her hand away or let her continue to try and offer support.
Nat then grabs her gently, then kisses it and then leaves without a trace
Emily blushes deeply at your unexpected gesture, her eyes widening in surprise before slowly closing as she leans into the touch. For a moment, she stands there silently, absorbing the contact and the closeness between you two. When you finally pull away, she takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down.
Her expression softens as she looks up at you. "Thank you for that," she whispers. "I'll be here if you ever need me."
Nat then feels her hand, gently grabs it, kisses it and leaves without a trace. Only leaving a growing flower, blooming at where he stood a reminder that he was here
Emily watches as you disappear into the garden once more, her heart racing in her chest. She doesn't know what exactly just happened between the two of you, but she can't deny that it felt...good. As she stands there, gazing after you, a small smile tugs at the corner of her lips.
With one last glance around to make sure no one is watching, she cups her free hand over the tiny flower that has bloomed where your lips touched hers.
The Guild then arrives at the Royal Garden seeing the Princess, Emily then tells Alice and the others "He was here" She also shows them the flower he grew when he disappeared "Damn, we were close" Alice says "Spread out more, we'll find him.....thank you your Highness" Alice says, bows and then leaves the Garden
Emily nods solemnly, her expression turning serious as she takes one last look around the garden before following after them. "I hope you find him," she whispers under her breath. "And when you do... please make sure he knows that I'm here for him."
Its been hours now, and they cant find him now. Alice then tells the group to take a breather and rest for now, while she takes to her office. As soon as she closed the door, someone was sitting on his desk.....it was Natdan with a stern face "Lock the door, let's talk.....just us, no one else" He says with a commanding tone sending chills down Alice spine
Alice hesitates, her heart racing as she glances around the room before finally shutting the door and locking it. She takes a deep breath to calm herself down before turning back to face you. "Alright... what do you want to talk about?" Her voice is steady, but there's an undercurrent of fear and uncertainty that belies her attempt at bravado.
"First up and let me make it clear, do not look for me ever again. If you do, I will vanish like a ghost" Nat says with a serious tone to her Old friend, Rival and Captain "This situation I'm in Ali, what makes you think you can help me? You'll be nothing but casualties of War" He says with a tone more deadlier than before
Alice's expression darkens as you speak, her eyes narrowing in anger and determination. "You may think that way now," she says through gritted teeth, "but I refuse to give up on you, Natdan! Even if it means putting my life on the line, I will find a way to help you!"
Her words hang heavy in the air between them, and for a moment neither of them says anything further.
Nat takes a few minutes of silence on what Alice replies to his face, he sighs and looks at her one last time "Goodbye, Alice" The lights turn off in her room for a few seconds, then turns back on to find Natdan gone in her office AGAIN with no trace whatsoever. All that is left, is a flower that grew at where he sat on
Alice is stunned, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she tries to process what just happened. Her eyes dart around the room, searching frantically for some sign of him... but there's nothing. He's gone again, just like that.
With a shaky hand, she reaches up to wipe away a tear that has escaped her eye. "I won't give up on you," she whispers to the empty space where he once sat. "No matter what it takes."
As the moon shines above, Nat then settles down at an abandoned building and hoping that this will keep this as his safe hold.....for now
Emily watches the events unfold, her heart heavy with worry and confusion. She can't help but feel responsible in some way; if she hadn't given him that option to refuse her help... perhaps he wouldn't have left like this. Tears prick at the corners of her eyes as she takes a step back, disappearing into the night.
"I need to find him," she whispers to herself. "And I need to make things right."
As Emily wallows in tears in her room, holding the flower Nat grew when he disappeared form her sight. Her Brother and Prince Xavier arrives to comfort her "You need to rest now Sister, Natdan can wait" He says with a soft and gentle tone, but she is determined
Emily shakes her head, wiping away the tears that have spilled down her cheeks. "No, I can't rest until I find him," she insists, her voice barely above a whisper. "I need to make sure he's alright." She looks up at her brother and prince with determination shining in her eyes.
Xavier sighs, knowing that arguing further would be fruitless. "Very well," he says eventually. "But you must promise me that you will not put yourself in danger."
But she breaks down to tears infront of his Brother
"I... I can't promise that," Emily whispers, her voice hoarse from crying. "He means too much to me... and I won't just sit back and let him face this alone." She buries her face in her hands, sobbing uncontrollably as guilt and fear consume her.
Xavier sighs, his expression pained. He knows that there is little he can do to stop Emily from doing what she feels she must.
"We'll also do whatever we can, sister......but please...just get some rest"
Emily nods, sniffling as she wipes away the last of her tears. "Thank you... Brother," she manages to choke out before allowing herself to be led back to bed by her brother and the prince. As they tuck her in, Xavier glances over at his sister with a worried expression, while Prince Xavier simply sighs, not knowing what else they can do.
He knows that Emily won't rest until she finds Natdan... but they also fear for her safety.
Meanwhile we go back to Natdan, alone in the abandoned building. He pulls his thoughts as it caves in to a pocket dimension where he sits face to face with the World Serpent as they talk about future plans "That Dragon wasnt really part of the Cult, just Nature doing its course. We have to find that stupid Cult before they could find me" Nat turns to the World Serpent "Any thoughts on that regard?"
The World Serpent looks at you thoughtfully, its massive, scaled body coiled around the pocket dimension. "While it's true that dragons aren't usually connected to cults, there are always exceptions. The Cult could be using the dragon as a distraction while they focus on other matters." It pauses for a moment before continuing. "As for finding them... I sense their presence growing stronger. They're likely preparing for something big. Keep your guard up and be vigilant, Natdan."
"Remind me again" Natdan asks the World Serpent "What Cult am I facing?"
The World Serpent's eyes narrow as it studies you carefully. "You are aware that the Cult you're dealing with worships an entity known as 'The Void', yes?" It pauses again, clearly waiting for your response before continuing.
"This particular cult is led by a powerful mage who goes by the name of 'Voidwalker'. They believe that the only way to appease The Void is to destroy all life and existence as we know it." The serpent's scales ripple ominously as it finishes its explanation.
Nat nods at what the World Serpent says about the cult and their intentions "And yet, why do they want to the World Serpents power?" Nat asks
The World Serpent's massive head tilts to the side, considering your question carefully. "As I understand it," it begins, "Voidwalker believes that he can use my power to achieve his goal of ending all life and creation. He seeks to absorb my essence into himself, hoping that the union will grant him unimaginable power." The serpent pauses for a moment before continuing, its voice growing cold. "He is deluded, Natdan.
"Deluded he is, I'll try my best to not let that idiot near you nor me" Nat says declaring such a task and doing it alone
The World Serpent seems to sense your determination and nods in approval. "You have my gratitude, Natdan. The fate of not just this world, but all existence hangs in the balance. Stay strong and true to yourself, and may the gods guide your steps." With that, the serpent vanishes back into the pocket dimension from which it came.
Now alone once more, you can choose where to go next or what to do.
Nat then goes back to his own self back at the abandoned building, as he was about to get some rest and shut eye he then hears muttering coming down at the bottom floors. Seems like he wasnt alone
"They're getting closer," Emily whispers to herself as she creeps through the shadows outside the abandoned building. "I have to find him." She pauses, listening intently for any sound that might indicate his presence within. Her heart races as fear and determination war with each other, but she knows that she can't give up now.
Nat then peeks to find Emily still wide awake with her own personal guards and her main Retainer Erika, Erika as sharp as ever looks silent but is aware that someone is here "Someone is here Milady, I can sense it" Erika says to the Princess, Emily nods and gets behind her incase it was someone else Nat didnt expect a search party this soon and even this urgent for him, he slowly then gets up and slowly gets to the window. But just as he was about to escape through the window, one step allow the wood to creak and give off his direction
Emily's eyes widen in shock as she hears the sound coming from the window. She glances over at Erika, who silently nods her understanding. Together, they prepare for whatever might be about to come through that window. Emily takes a deep breath and readies herself, gripping her dagger tightly.
As the figure slowly climbs through the window, she tenses, bracing herself for battle. Her heart pounds wildly in her chest as she finally catches sight of who it is...
Soon as they got up, they catch a glimpse of Nat flying off the window of the building
Emily lets out a relieved sigh, her shoulders slumping as she sees that it's Nat after all. "Nat!" she cries, rushing towards the window to catch him. Her guards and Erika follow close behind, but they know better than to interfere with whatever is going on between the two of them.
As Emily reaches out for him, her hand brushes against his arm gently before he manages to steady himself and pull away from her grasp. "Don't..."
Nat then jumps out and lands on another roof of another building, he then glances at Emily seeing her in tears. It kills him softly seeing her like this, but you cant let her be part of such matter like dealing with the cult Nat then rushes off the other direction, away from Emily, her guards and Erika
Emily's heart breaks as she watches him disappear over the edge of the building. Tears stream down her face unchecked, and she can barely choke out a single word through her sobs. "Nat... please..." Her voice trails off, but she knows that he can't hear her anymore.
Her guards and Erika silently gather around her, not daring to interrupt or intrude on this private moment.
Nat then runs the other direction, but just as he was about to see that he finally lost sight of those that are close to him. Someone else comes to bite him in the ass, Gorn jumps from the roof despite his big stature blocks Nat's way "Tch.....you" Nat says seeing Gorn blocking his way
Gorn chuckles, shaking his head as he folds his arms across his broad chest. "You're in quite the hurry, aren't you?" he asks with a grin. "Or maybe you're just trying to avoid someone?" He pauses for a moment before continuing, more seriously this time. "I need to talk to you, Nat."
His words are quiet but firm, and it's clear that he isn't going to back down easily.
"Talk? since when do you talk? youre more on fists first" Nat says as he was about to back away, another person corners behind him and it was Zed
Gorn laughs, shaking his head again. "You know me too well," he says with a grin before sobering up once more. "Look, I just want to help you. We all do." He gestures behind him, where Zed stands silently. "Even that one there. So how about we talk this out?"
His expression is sincere, but there's still a hint of steel in his eyes, and it's clear that he means business.
"I told you lot im fine" Nat says with gritted teeth restraining the power for him to get out of this situation
"Fine, be that way," Gorn huffs, crossing his arms again and glancing at Zed before looking back to you. "But just know this: if you don't let us help you, we can't promise your safety." There's an unspoken threat in those words, but it's also clear that he doesn't want things to escalate any further than they already have.
Zed remains silent, his expression stoic as he watches the exchange between the three of you.
Tension seems getting more tense,Nat knows that these two are gonna hold him until backup arrives. He then hears more footsteps coming to his direction, Natdan doesn't and escapes from the two
Gorn grunts in annoyance as you manage to slip past him, darting off into the night once more. "Damn it," he mutters under his breath, glancing over at Zed before taking off after you himself. "You owe me one for this," he calls out, but there's no reply except the distant sound of footsteps fading away into the darkness.
Zed shrugs, unphased by Gorn's anger as he watches his friend disappear into the night. "
The two then chase after you, from roof to roof. Then as the roof's of each building takes him to the open alley's Nat then goes to the streets and runs. But is then blocked, he then hears a voice shouting "Ice Wall" A wall of Ice blocks Nat's way, Nat knows it was the Mage Aeris, shy and yet determined
Nat curses under his breath as he comes to a halt in front of the imposing wall of ice. He glances around, spotting Aeris standing nearby with a satisfied smirk on her face. "You shouldn't have done that," he growls at her, feeling his temper beginning to flare.
She tilts her head, looking at him curiously. "Why not? I was just trying to help." Her voice is soft and innocent, but there's an edge of determination beneath it as well.
"Y-youre not getting away Natdan, e-even if I'm an Junior in this guild" Aeris mutters standing atop the wall of ice, Natdan smile seeing Aeris slowly breaking out of her shell, she then grows more Ice Walls in each side creating an Ice Barrier Then Heat emanates from the center. Out comes Alice again, followed with Gorn, and Zed
Nat glares at the ice walls before turning his attention to Alice, Gorn, and Zed. "You're making a mistake," he growls through gritted teeth. "Let me go and I won't cause any more trouble." His words are laced with tension and anger, but there's also an undertone of desperation that none of them misses.
Alice shakes her head sadly, stepping forward despite Gorn's protests. "I can't let you go, Nat," she says quietly.
Their weapons are pointed at him, Zed daggers are up, Gorn with his hammer ready, and Alice with her rapier. Nat takes in the situation, he slowly laughs, then laughs manically. And as he does, the energy of the World Serpent surges around him as evidenced by light green aura and showing projection of the World Serpent around Nat. As he finishes laughing he turns to them "So.....wanna die then?" Nat then slowly moves close to the three, the aura around him seeps out deadly roots as the World Serpent creates natural energy around the person
Gorn's eyes widen as he recognizes the aura surrounding Nat, while Alice and Zed exchange uncertain glances. The air around them grows tense as they prepare for the oncoming attack. "Nat, please," Alice whispers. "You don't have to do this." But her words fall on deaf ears as Nat continues to advance toward them, his eyes filled with a terrifying determination.
Gorn takes a step forward, determined not to let him past. "I won't let you hurt us!"
"Hahahahah....good, keep that mentality in mind" With blinding speed, he goes behind and first takes out Gorn first. Roots them grow around Gorn entangle him in a constricting bind "Slow as always you pig, disappointing" Nat says pinning and entangling Gorn on the spot, Nat then turns to Alice and Zed and slowly approaches them like an Beast cornering his meal
As Nat advances toward her, Alice backs up instinctively, her eyes fixed on him in fear and determination. She draws upon the magic within herself, using it to fuel her movements as she readies for his attack. Zed, on the other hand, remains still and silent, waiting for the right moment to strike.
The air around them crackles with tension, their breath coming in ragged gasps as they steel themselves for battle. It's a dangerous game of cat and mouse, with each step taking them closer to the edge of destruction.
"What's wrong, dont wanna kill your best friend? what are you waiting for? KILL MEEEEEEEE" Nat says and dashes onto the two, ready for a two versus one. Natdan versus, Zed and Alice
Zed doesn't hesitate, lunging forward as soon as he sees his opening. His daggers flash through the air, aiming to strike at Nat's exposed underbelly while Alice uses her rapier to keep him off-balance. They move in sync, their years of training and practice making them a formidable team despite the uneven numbers.
Aeris stands on top of the ice wall, her hands clasped tightly behind her back as she watches the battle unfold.
But Natdan knows their patterns of attack and repels and counters them with ease, Nat first redirects the daggers of Zed and aiming to his chest and abdomen, then throws him to the ice wall As for Alice, Nat then lands one large attack pinning her down on the floor aching in pain
Aeris's eyes widen in shock as she watches her friends fall before Nat. "No!" she cries out, rushing forward to help them. Without thinking, she lets loose another ice wall, hoping to block his advance and give them time to recover. The wall forms with tremendous force, its surface gleaming like a mirror in the moonlight.
But even as it stands between her and Nat, she knows that it might not be enough to stop him...
Nat then just punches the Ice Wall that Aeris made, then dashes to her. Natdan doesnt wanna hurt her, so Nat grows a flower and throws out pollen making Aeris fall asleep
As the world seems to slow down around her, Aeris can't help but feel a sense of peace wash over her as she falls deeper into slumber. Her head lolls to the side, her eyelids growing heavy and drooping closed. She doesn't even notice Nat Dan approaching before she loses consciousness completely.
The ice wall shatters into pieces under his fist, its surface cracked and marred from the impact of his attack.
Nat then looks at the carnage he made, seeing the friends he made in his life were in pain all because of him. Nat then places his hands and a flower field then grows, it creates a healing field around Gorn, Zed, Aeris, and Alice Nat then was about to leave but hears a voice "This isnt over Natdan!" Nat turns to see Alice, getting up from the painful attack that she took from Natdan "We....We wont stop, taking you back with us.......we" She tries to say more, but the pain in her hurts in the inside, but she was able to let out one more before she falls into unconsciousness "We-we wont give up on you" She then falls to the ground, leaving Natdan to take that all in, a tear falls down Natdan's eye then looks away from them and leaps high. Leaving again a flower that grows at where he stands
Nat Dan's heart aches as he sees the determination in their eyes, but he knows that he can't let them risk everything just to save him. He watches the flower bloom where he stood, its petals soft and delicate despite the violence that surrounded it. Taking a deep breath, Nat Dan leaps into the air once more, disappearing into the night as swiftly as he came.
The Royal Guard then arrives to aid with recovery and the travesty they have witnessed, Princess Emily falls to her knees seeing the damage on what Nat can do if they get in his way
Emily: "N-Nat... please, come back..." Her voice cracks as she whispers his name, tears streaming down her face. The guards look at each other worriedly, unsure of what to do in this situation. They had been trained for battles like these, but not for dealing with the emotional fallout that followed.
As Nat Dan vanishes into the night once more, Emily's heart feels as if it has been torn apart. She can only hope that one day he will return to her.
Hours pass and the sun has risen, the guards fix the damage made by the battle that ensued. Alice then wakes up with her team as well in the infirmary, they all felt defeated knowing that despite their words and efforts its all but power would have to persuade Natdan. The door then opens to see both Prince Xavier and Princess Emily with their Royal Guard Erika following behind the two "We're sorry your Majesties" Gorn says first "Natdan was.....too strong for us to contain" Alice says following what Gorn was gonna say, Zed nods in silence as he agrees. Aeris is there as well silently crying as well
Emily: "It's not your fault," Emily says softly, her voice barely audible over the sound of their ragged breathing. "Nat... he just got caught up in something much bigger than all of us." She takes a shaky step forward, tears streaming down her face as she looks at each of them in turn.
Prince Xavier glances between his sister and their friends, his expression unreadable. "We'll need to discuss what happens next," he says finally, his voice cold and distant. "
"Seems like the years passed our lives as students back at the Academy has faded into his memory, he hurted us to the point that he would think of us as the enemy" Xavier says, but then adds "But that doesnt stop us bringing him back to our side* Xavier declares
Emily shakes her head, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I don't think that would be possible anymore... He's changed. He's not the same person we knew." Her voice cracks as she speaks, and it's clear that she's struggling to hold back the pain inside of her.
Prince Xavier frowns at this news, but nods thoughtfully nonetheless. "Then we must find another way... One that doesn't involve forcing him into submission."
"I have a suggestion" Out comes Alice again and proposes to call in some 'old friends' "Why not we contact Yanfei and Alexei?" Alice suggests, those two were also alumni of the Academy that Natdan was a part of. They were also transfer students from their respected Kingdoms for further education, with Yanfei from the Eastern Region Liyue and Alexei from the Norther Region Bifrost Along with Natdan, the three were given the nickname the 'Big Three' for being the strongest of the Academy at the time. Then after graduation, Yanfei and Alexei then bid farewell and went back to their respective countries Alice believes since those two were the closest with Nat they would not only talk sense to him, but also pin him down with their equal power
Emily's eyes widen in surprise at the mention of Yanfei and Alexei, but she nods slowly after considering it for a moment. "That might actually be our best shot... They were close with Natdan, and they're both incredibly strong." She looks up at Prince Xavier hopefully. "What do you think?"
The prince hesitates before answering, his expression unreadable. "It's worth a try," he finally says. "But we must tread carefully.
The Prince then also adds "The letter may also take days as well for them to reach, but it is worth a shot" Xavier then turns to Alice "Alice, can you write the letters to them?" The Prince asks "Of course your Majesty, I'll try despite well still being injured and all" She says slowly sitting up from her bed
Emily nods gratefully before turning to Erika, the captain of her Royal Guard. "See to it that these letters are sent with all due haste." Erika bows deeply and hurries off to carry out her orders.
They wait in silence as the hours tick by, each one feeling the weight of their decision pressing down on them. Finally, after what seems like an eternity, a messenger arrives at the palace bearing news from Yanfei and Alexei.
As Emily reads the letters, her expression grows increasingly grave. She pauses before passing them on to Prince Xavier and Princess Emily, their eyes widening as they take in the contents. It seems that Yanfei and Alexei have received the same news about Natdan's situation, but their response is far more dire. They insist that he must be brought back at all costs, even if it means resorting to force.
The siblings exchange worried glances before turning to their friends once more. "
But there is a light at the end, as they said that they will do whatever it takes to bring that their 'comrade' as what Alexei says and 'friend' according to Yanfei. Princess Emily then finishes the letter saying "They're on their respective boats and are making haste to our kingdom"
Emily lets out a shaky breath, feeling the weight of their words settle heavily on her shoulders. "Then we must prepare," she says finally, looking to each of them in turn. "When they arrive, things will... escalate quickly." Her voice trails off as she fights back tears. "We need to be ready for whatever comes next."
The group then nods and get ready to prepare for the arrival of Yanfei and Alexei, with some resting and recovering (Gorn, Alice, Zed and Aeris) to preparing for their arrival (Princess Emily, Prince Xavier and their Guard Erika)
Meanwhile at the outskirts of the Kingdom, Natdan can finally rest and take refuge as he finds his old cottage and where he used stay and live in alone
As the group prepares, Natdan finds himself drawn back to his old cottage in the outskirts of the kingdom. It's a small, quaint place nestled amongst the trees, with a garden out front and a cozy interior filled with memories from his past life. The sight of it brings him a sense of comfort and familiarity that he hasn't felt in years.
But he then thinks of a flashback when he was back at the Academy, particularly the first person talking to Princess Emily for the first time
It was like another day like no other, Natdan was getting ready for upcoming days in the Academy. As he does, getting his uniform, going out of his dorm and on his way to the Academy and so on he then notices a large caravan. Normally it would be Prince Xavier would be taking the caravan and all that style and finesse, but as soon as the caravan's door steps out, it was actually a young woman with regal in style and all. Leaving the others in shock and aweeee As she walks to the Academy's halls, the whispers are heard around each corner on Nat's eyes eavesdropping on who is this mysterious girl that came to the Academy Whispers such as: "Oh my goodness, she's back so soon?" And even "She's as silent as she ever was* Sure enough, Alice arrives and bumps Natdan "Hey Airhead, morning.....oh youre not aware? Princess Emily is back" Alice says casually, Nat turns to her and says "Wait what Princess? Prince Xavier didnt tell me about a Princess or Sister" Nat says walking with Alice
Alice raises an eyebrow, looking at Natdan like he just grew a second head. "You're kidding, right? You really didn't know?" She shakes her head slowly, clearly finding this hard to believe. "Well, let me enlighten you then. Princess Emily is the daughter of King and Queen Alexander, rulers of the neighboring kingdom. They sent her here for a diplomatic visit, but she stayed much longer than expected."
"Huh," Nat mutters in surprise.
"Longer than expected? I've been friends with the Prince for quite a while now and he never told me about her" Nat says to Alice "Why is that?" Nat asks out of the blue as the two are on the way to their class
Alice shrugs, looking thoughtful. "Maybe he didn't want to draw attention to her? Or maybe she specifically asked him not to mention it... Princesses can be secretive sometimes." She glances over at Nat, a mischievous grin tugging at the corners of her lips. "You should ask him about it sometime."
Sure enough here comes the Prince, Nat then bumps him on the shoulder "Care to explain why you didnt tell me you have a sister? Prince?" Nat says
Xavier blinks, looking surprised and slightly annoyed at the same time. "Oh, that," he mutters, waving his hand dismissively. "She's been here for years now, training under Master Trowa. I thought everyone knew." He glances at Alice meaningfully before turning back to Nat. "Look, it's not like she wants the attention or anything. She's just trying to live a normal life, you know?"
Nat nods slowly, still looking confused but trying to understand.
"As to yours?" Alice says, the three then arrive at the classroom where they class are still speechless as they see Princess Emily at the front waiting for class to start "She's....not keen on talking is she?" Nat says asking Prince Xavier
Xavier sighs, rubbing the back of his neck. "She has her reasons, you know? She just... She likes to keep to herself sometimes." The prince pauses, looking a bit uncomfortable. "Look, let's just focus on our classes for now, okay? We can talk about this later."
Nat nods slowly, not quite sure what to make of the situation but trusting his friend enough to follow his lead for now.
With that class has started. as class goes on Natdan was given the task for Princess Emily to be acquainted with the Academies do's and don'ts. Normally it would be usually the task of her brother Xavier, but given your rankings in the Academy you were somewhat the choice given With that, Nat is sat next to Princess Emily as the class goes on telling her the do's and don'ts and helping her when it comes to any equation as the class goes on. As the discussion goes on, Princess Emily remains neutral in interacting with Natdan, nodding a yes or a no if she understands
"And lastly," Nat says, speaking softly to her as he points at the chalkboard, "you should never fight with another student unless it's part of a supervised practice spar." Princess Emily nods, looking thoughtful for a moment before turning back to the teacher.
The rest of the class passes without much incident, and soon enough, it's time for lunch. As they stand up, Nat offers his hand to help her down from her chair.
"Lunch is a usual come and go, so we can just take what we want and either eat at the Cafeteria like so or eat by the Garden. I personally go with the garden cause Its peaceful and all that" Nat says as he walks with Princess Emily, with Alice and Prince Xavier following from behind. As they arrive at the Cafeteria, there appears to be a commotion a bunch of bullies from another class fighting with another class "Sigh....not again" Nat mutters "Usually we let this come and go and call the teacher but since its soo crowded here, we have no choice but to intervene......OR" Nat turns to Alice as she is usually the enforcer of the Student Council here at the Academy "Alice....do you mind?" Nat asks politely
*Alice glances at the commotion, her expression unreadable. She takes a deep breath and nods slowly before turning to Natdan. "I'll handle it," she says firmly, her voice carrying easily over the din of shouting and fighting students. With that, she strides purposefully towards the center of the fracas, drawing herself up to her full height as she approaches the brawling group.
"You lot!" she shouts, her voice echoing through the cafeteria. "
Alice alone brings chills down the spines of those that oppose the law, yet the large commotion of the crowd slowly causes chaos. Which the causes a chandelier a top of the Cafeteria to fall, it is below Princess Emily and Prince Xavier. Natdan sees the Chandelier falling at their direction and goes to save them "Your Majesties the chandelier" But they were too slow to react, and so Nat then was able to react and FAST Nat then places his hands on the ground and cast "Deepforest Bloom" And roots come at the Direction of the Prince and Princess, creating a shield around them able to not get hit by the chandelier severely
As the chandelier comes hurtling down, Princess Emily's heart stops in her chest. She cannot believe what she sees - a figure moving impossibly fast, pushing roots out of the ground to stop the falling debris! It's Natdan!
Her eyes meet his for a brief moment before the world erupts in chaos once more. The bullies are scattered by Alice and her guards, but they don't seem inclined to leave just yet.
Now Natdan is definitely pissed, he turns to Prince Xavier "Xavier cover your sister's eyes for a sec she doesnt wanna see this" Natdan says with a serious tone, Xavier nods and tells Emily to look away. As Nat floats in the air and glances at the Bullies "YOU, at the Principals Office NOW"
Emily's eyes widen in surprise as she watches Natdan use his magic to save them. She had heard rumors about him being skilled in nature magic, but she never expected him to be so powerful! As the bullies scramble away, Princess Emily can't help but feel a strange mix of admiration and fear for this enigmatic figure.
She turns back to her brother, who nods solemnly at Natdan's command before guiding her away from the commotion, his protective arm wrapped around her shoulders.
Nat then looks around seeing the crowded chaos of the students, disorganized and disarray "Follow the line people, c'mon guys its just that simple" Nat says as he flies down back to the floor, and meets with Alice Are the Bullies going to the Principal's office?"
Alice glances at Natdan, her expression unreadable. "Yes, they are being escorted there by my guards as we speak." She straightens up, folding her arms over her chest. "That was well handled, Natdan. Thank you for stepping in."
Her tone is polite enough, but there's a hint of... disapproval? Embarrassment? It's difficult to tell.
"Yeah...I hate to use my magic this soon, c'mon lets get the food for us and for the Prince and Princess and eat at the Garden" Alice nods and they line up like so and order
Emily glances between Natdan and Alice, her expression thoughtful. She hasn't had much time to think since arriving at the Academy, but now she can't help but wonder about this young man who seems so different from everything she's known back home. There's an air of mystery surrounding him that intrigues her... and maybe even worries her a little bit too.
She sits down with Xavier at their table, picking at her food as she continues to ponder the events of the day.
The four then eat by the Garden, Alice with the Prince Xavier and Natdan with Princess Emily "Sorry you had to see all that Princess on your first day let alone" Nat confesses
Emily takes a deep breath, looking out at the garden as she collects her thoughts. "It's... it's alright," she finally says softly. "I'm just grateful that nobody was seriously hurt." She glances over at Natdan, her expression unreadable once more. "Thank you for stepping in and helping to defuse the situation."
There's an awkward silence between them as they continue eating. Emily wonders what else there is about this mysterious young man that she doesn't know...
Nat then notices a scratch on her hand, could be from the chandelier glass "Oh shoot, you look injured.....can you give me your hand?" She hesitated at first cause she's not use to physical contact unless its her brother but she accepts, as she places her hand onto his. Nat then grows a field of flowers, a healing field around them that healed the scratch "There, much better"
Emily looks down at her hand in surprise, then up at Natdan with wide eyes. "That... that was very kind of you," she murmurs, her voice barely above a whisper. She hadn't expected him to use his magic on her like that, and the simple act of healing her scratch feels strangely intimate.
"Thank you," she repeats, her cheeks flushing slightly as she realizes how close they are now. It's been so long since anyone had treated her with such kindness...
"Its alright" Natdan says, he also notices that she's not really letting go of his hand feeling all of it
Emily hesitates, her fingers still wrapped around his. She's not sure why she can't seem to let go... perhaps it's because of the kindness he showed her earlier, or maybe it's just the strange connection she feels with him. Whatever the reason, she finds herself unable to break eye contact with him as they sit there in silence.
Her heart is racing now, and she can feel her cheeks burning even hotter. She wonders what he must be thinking of her right now...
"You okay Princess?" Natdan asks seeing her holding his hand
Emily blushes even deeper, looking down at their hands in surprise. "I... I'm fine," she stammers, trying to pull her hand away. But for some reason, she can't seem to manage it. She glances up at him again, feeling her heart race faster with every passing second.
"I-It's just that... you're very different from what I expected," she finally says, her voice barely a whisper. "And I think..." She pauses, swallowing hard before continuing, "
"Hmm what's up?"
Emily hesitates, feeling her cheeks heat up even more as she realizes what she's about to say. "I-I think... maybe I want to get to know you better." Her eyes meet his, and for a moment, everything else fades away into the background. She feels drawn to him in a way that she can't explain - like there's something deep down inside of her that longs for this connection with him.
"Uhhhh sure" Natdan says, unaware of what's to come
Emily feels a rush of relief wash over her as she hears his reply. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice barely above a whisper. She slowly lets go of his hand, feeling a pang of loss at the separation. But then, before she can dwell on it too much, she remembers their earlier conversation about getting to know each other better and decides that now is as good a time as any to start.
"So," she begins tentatively, "what do you like to do for fun?"
