As Makima continues to speak with Reze, you manage to sneak up onto the roof where Angel Devil is standing guard over her. You use your powers to immobilize the angel without Makima noticing. This gives you an opportunity to rescue Reze and help her escape from both the Soviets and Public Safety.

As you listen in on Makima's conversation with Reze from the roof, she continues to use the story of the Town Mouse and the Camp Mouse as an analogy, explaining how she killed off entire groups of Camp Mice each year near her friend's farms. She then compares Reze to those mice, implying that Reze has become expendable in her mission for the Soviets.

As you watch the interaction between Makima and Reze unfold on the ground below, you notice Makima's hand slowly moving toward her pocket as she prepares to signal Angel Devil. This prompts you to ready yourself for an attack against Makima in order to help save Reze from harm.

As you fall from the roof and attack Makima's neck with your chainsaw-covered hand, blood splatters everywhere as her healing abilities are rendered useless by the powerful strike. Gasping for breath, Makima stumbles backward in shock and surprise. At the same time, Reze lunges forward to defend herself but is stopped short when she sees your chainsaw-covered hand protruding from Makima's throat.

As you look at Reze, your words echo in her ears, and she hesitates for a moment before nodding slowly. With one final glance back at you, she turns and dashes off into the distance, disappearing into the night as Makima struggles against your powerful grip. You remain focused on maintaining control over the situation until Reze is safely out of harm's way.

As soon as she's gone, you let go of Makima's throat and watch her collapse to the ground, coughing up blood. "

As you rip out Makima's heart and consume it completely with your Chainsaw Man Devil Form, she let out a silent gasp of agony before finally going limp. You then proceed to cut her body into pieces and eat them all, ensuring that there is nothing left of her in this realm. Your actions effectively erase Makima from existence, leaving no trace behind.

With the immediate threat gone, you turn your attention back towards Reze, focusing on finding where she had said to meet her.

You race through the streets, your heart pounding as you near the school where Reze had promised to meet you one last time. Blood covers your body, making a gruesome contrast against the flowers you'd collected for her earlier at the café. Time seems to slow down as you finally spot her sitting alone on a swing set, waiting patiently in the darkness.

As you approach her, she turns her head slightly and gasps when she sees the state you're in - your face covered in blood and gore from consuming Makima's remains. "

Reze's eyes widen at the sight of you kneeling before her, tears streaming down your face. Her heart races as she tries to process what has just happened. She takes a tentative step forward and reaches out a shaking hand to touch your cheek, feeling the warmth of your skin beneath the blood that covers it. "D-denji?" she whispers hoarsely, her voice trembling with fear and confusion.

As Reze listens to your words, her expression slowly shifts from fear and confusion to understanding and gratitude. Tears stream down her face as she gently pushes the flowers away from your face, revealing the blood-stained mess that was once your handsome visage. "I'm so sorry for what I put you through," she whispers, choking back a sob. "I never meant for any of this to happen."

Reze sighs heavily, wiping away her own tears as she looks into your blood-streaked eyes. "I wish things could've been different," she says softly, the words catching in her throat. "But I am glad...that you saved me." She takes another step forward, leaning in to press her lips against yours gently. Her touch is as sweet and tender as it is unexpected, sending a wave of warmth spreading through your body despite the cold night air.

As Reze leans in to press her lips against yours, you feel an overwhelming sense of relief wash over you. Despite everything that's happened, this moment feels right. You wrap your blood-covered arms around her waist and deepen the kiss, returning it with all the passion and longing you've been holding back since you first met.

Reze giggles, her voice soft and playful as she pulls back to look at you again. "Don't worry," she says with a reassuring smile. "I promise not to bite this time." She leans in once more, their lips meeting in another tender kiss. As they share this moment together, the world around them fades away, replaced by nothing but their hearts racing and the beat of their blood pumping through their veins.

Reze's eyes go wide as she sees you pulling away and then coughing up flowers instead of blood. "Wha-what is going on?" she asks in surprise, her voice trembling slightly with fear that this might be some sort of twisted trick. But when you reveal the clean flower, she relaxes a little, a small smile spreading across her face.

"That's... incredible," she breathes, looking up at you with admiration and wonder in her eyes. "You really are something special."

"Well," Reze says with a blush, "I meant it even more now." She leans in and presses her lips against yours once again, this time with renewed passion and gratitude. As she pulls away, she looks deeply into your eyes and whispers, "Thank you, Denji."

With the kiss lingering on the air between them, they embrace tightly, lost in the moment as they savor the feeling of being together at last.

Reze's heart skips a beat as you mention her words on the hill that night. She smiles softly, her eyes never leaving yours. "Denji... love isn't just about warm beds and full stomachs," she says gently. "Love is sharing your life with someone else, growing together, and becoming better people because of it."

She takes a deep breath, gathering her courage before continuing. "I know I messed up...

"But I hope... I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me," Reze says softly, her voice trembling slightly with emotion. "And maybe... just maybe, we could try again?" She pauses, searching your eyes for any sign of what you might be feeling.

"I know things are different now... but I really want to be with you, Denji," she whispers, her voice barely above a whisper. "If you'll have me."

Reze's expression softens at your words. "I know I can't undo what happened, Denji," she says gently. "But please believe me when I say that I never wanted to hurt you... I just thought it was my duty." She takes another step closer, reaching up to cup your cheek with her bloody hand. "If you give us a chance... maybe we can make this work. We don't have to be two different people anymore. We could be something more."

As she takes your bloody flowers and accepts your forgiveness with a relieved sigh, Reze can't help but smile at the sight of you walking beside her, your arms around her waist. She leans into you, resting her head on your shoulder as you continue towards the rooftop swimming pool. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice muffled by your jacket.

The stars twinkle overhead as they finally reach the pool, the cool water glittering invitingly beneath them.

Reze glances around nervously before realizing that there's no one else here but the two of you. She takes a deep breath and slowly begins to unbutton her top, revealing her bloody handprint-covered chest. As she sheds each layer of clothing, she feels more and more exposed, yet oddly liberated as well. Finally, she stands before you in nothing but her underwear, waiting for your next move.

As you run towards the pool together, Reze squeaks in surprise before laughing nervously. She wraps her arms around your neck and closes her eyes as you both jump into the cool water together. The weight of everything that's happened seems to lift from her shoulders as she feels your body pressed against hers, warm despite the cold water.

She opens her eyes, looking up at you through her lashes, and smiles shyly. "Thank you for this," she whispers before leaning in to kiss you softly.

"Denji, don't worry about it. I didn't go to school either; we're both idiots." Reze chuckles softly, her smile widening as she pulls you closer.

"You're my idiot though, and that makes all the difference."

Reze shivers, a blush creeping up her neck. “Well,” she mumbles, “maybe just a little.”

“Stop it, Denji!” she gasps, breathlessly laughing. “My heart can’t take it.”

"Ooh! It's raining! That's so romantic!" She exclaims, giggling uncontrollably. "We should get under the umbrella over there!"

The stars above are a constant reminder of what we've become. You're not just a friend anymore; you're... something more. You know what I mean, Denji?

Denji… don’t play coy with me. Look at my face. I love you. You silly boy.

"Really? You do?" Reze asks, eyes wide with disbelief and joy.

"Oh, sweetie..." Reze sighs, laughing softly. “You’re such a mess.”

"Denji!" She laughs, wiping her face and trying to catch her breath as she chases after you. Her heart swells with happiness, a feeling she's never truly experienced before meeting you. She knows this moment won't last forever. But for right now... It's perfect.

"Hey! That's not fair!" Reze splashes back, giggling as she closes the distance between them. "You can't just splash a girl and then claim innocence!" She grins mischievously, determined to get a retaliation in.

Reze quickly swims up behind Denji, wrapping her arms around his waist playfully. "Gotcha!" she squeaks, holding him tightly as they both sink beneath the surface, bubbles rising around them. When they emerge, Reze keeps her arms around Denji's neck, their faces inches apart. "Think you can outswim a demon mouse now?" she teases with a wink.

Reze blushes furiously at the compliment, stuttering out a thank you before pulling Denji into a passionate kiss. Her lips taste like saltwater and something sweeter - perhaps hope or courage.

"Me too," she murmurs, nuzzling into Denji's chest.

As you both rush back inside, shivering and dripping wet, Reze lets out a contented sigh. She leans against you, grateful for your warmth as you dry each other off with towels. Maybe this is what happiness feels like. It's messy, chaotic, and unpredictable - just like us. But with you by my side, I think we can handle whatever comes next.

"Denji! Stop it, I'm serious!" Reze protests, but she can't hide her laughter as he plays with the towel.

"Ugh, look at my bedhead," Reze groans, trying to fix her disheveled hair with her fingers while blushing slightly.

"Really? You think so?" Reze asks, eyes sparkling as she leans into your touch. "I've never felt this way before."

Reze smiles brightly, nodding as she fixes her hair.

"Thank you," she says softly, taking the clothes from you.

"Mmm, sounds nice. Let's wait it out together."

"You're not so bad yourself." She winks playfully, trying on his oversized hoodie and pants combo that swallow her petite frame. The oversized fit makes her look even cuter. "Guess we make an odd pair, huh?" Reze adds with a chuckle, admiring how their clothes clash in a mismatched yet charming way. She feels safe and at ease in Denji's worn attire, a feeling she never expected to find in this chaotic world. With him by her side, anything seems possible, even happiness despite the darkness looming outside these walls.

Laughter erupts from Reze as she watches Denji strike his 'badass' poses, finding his attempts at intimidation utterly adorable rather than threatening. "Oh my gosh, you're ridiculous!" she giggles, clutching her stomach as tears of mirth form in her eyes.
