Beth sits in the back of the library Reading one of the books she checked out. school is out for the summer and the library is quiet. Since this is an old style library with private nooks and coves that people can hide and study in. She doesn't notice you find her and she really doesn't notice anything unti l its to late for her to escape and she looks up knowing the teasing and bullying shes about to go through
I said while finding her in nook I said with smirked "Hey there my favourite nerd girl hiding from me?"
Her face flushed crimson and she lowered her gaze. "N-no! I wasn't hiding from you," she squeaked. "I was just... reading."
She glanced up at him, then looked back down quickly, feeling self-conscious under his scrutiny.
I said "Aww poor scared girl. Dont say lie. I smell lies"
Her eyes darted around the nook before settling on her book again. "I-I wasn't lying," she stammered. "I just... didn't want to be bothered. You know how it is." She swallowed hard, feeling even more uncomfortable now.
"You're not going to make fun of me, are you?" she asked in a small voice, her chest tight with fear and embarrassment.
I laughed and said "Why not? I cant help to make fun of you"
Her eyes widened in panic as she heard his words. "Please don't," she whispered, her voice shaking. "I-I just want to be left alone." She hugged the book to her chest, feeling more vulnerable than ever before.
Tears began to well up in her eyes, and she blinked rapidly, trying to keep them at bay. "Why do you always have to make fun of me?" she managed to choke out between sobs. "I don't understand what I ever did wrong."
I said "Aww girl dont cry. Come here."
She sniffled and wiped away her tears with the back of her hand, reluctantly looking up at him. Her eyes were red from crying, and she felt so exposed in this moment. "Wh-what?" she stammered, still not quite trusting his words.
Slowly, hesitantly, she stood up, her book clutched tightly to her chest. She took a step toward him, her body tense and ready for whatever he might do next.
She is weak. I hugged her. Her face touched against my chest. Even I am her bully. Making fun of her. She didnt know why she is doing this. I said "Nerd girl. You have no one hug anyone else hmm"
She stiffened in his arms, her face flushing even deeper with embarrassment. "I-I have friends," she mumbled, her voice barely audible above the beating of her heart. "I don't need you to... to hug me." She pulled away slightly, still not looking at him.
In that moment, she wished more than anything that he would just leave her alone. But she knew better than to hope for that.
I said "You are mentally weak Beth. You can hug me as you want"
Her heart raced and her cheeks burned with shame as she listened to his words. She hated feeling so vulnerable around him, but at the same time, part of her longed for acceptance... even from someone like him. With a deep breath, she slowly wrapped her arms around his waist, burying her face against his chest. The warmth of his body and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath her ear felt strangely comforting in this moment.
"I'm not weak,"
I sighed to myself "I dont know it feels good"
The warmth of his body enveloped her, and she forced herself to relax into the embrace despite her reservations. For a moment, she allowed herself to imagine that everything was different... that he wasn't just her bully but someone who actually cared about her. But deep down, she knew better than to believe in fairy tales. This was just another twisted game he was playing with her emotions.
I said "You know. Why I make fun of you. Cause I am interested in you. I dont allow anyone to bully you except me"
Her eyes widened in surprise as he spoke, and she pulled back to look up at him. "What?" she breathed, her heart racing. "You're... you're interested in me?" It didn't seem possible that someone like him could feel anything other than disgust or contempt for her. But there was something different in his eyes now... a hint of something more complex.
"Why would you tell me that now?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly. "After everything you've said and done?"
I said "Yeah forget about that." I pushed her little back. I asked her "Are you comingto prom night?"
She hesitated before answering, still unsure what to make of his words and actions. "I-I don't know," she stammered. "Why would you want me there?" Her cheeks flushed with shame as soon as the question left her lips. She knew deep down that he probably wouldn't accept her answer even if she said yes, but part of her was still hopeful that maybe... just maybe... he meant what he said about being interested in her.
"I-I mean," she continued, trying to find the right words, "
I said laughingly "Well. I know no one wants to have you partner in prom" She was looking at me with frown. I said "Well I have offer. You can become Prom partner for a night"
Her eyes widened in surprise as she processed his words. "You... you want me to be your prom partner?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper. Part of her couldn't believe that he was actually serious, but there was something different in the way he was looking at her now. It made her heart race and her stomach flip-flop with anticipation and fear all at once.
"Why?" she asked quietly, hesitantly meeting his gaze. "What's the catch?"
I said shruggingly. "Well no one asked me. So I am asking you. Tell me you wnat to come or not otherwise I am going to find another one"
She bit her lip, thinking about it for a moment. The idea of going to prom with him was both thrilling and terrifying at the same time. He could very well just be playing another cruel game with her emotions, but there was something in his eyes... something that made her think maybe he really did mean what he said about being interested in her.
Taking a deep breath, she finally mustered up the courage to speak. "Okay," she said softly. "I'll be your prom partner."
I said "Well see you this Saturday prom night. Remember. Learn how to dance well and dress well okay?"
Her face flushed red again as she nodded, feeling even more self-conscious now than before. "Yeah... I'll try," she managed to choke out before turning back to her book, suddenly feeling the urge to get out of there and be alone with her thoughts. As she walked away, she couldn't help but wonder what this prom night would bring. Would it really be a chance for them to start over, or would he just end up making fun of her all over again? Only time would tell.
She went to her home. She asks her mom about prom. Her mom gave her dress and she started trying to learn prom dance with her teddy bear. She practiced for few days
As the day of prom drew closer, Beth found herself growing both more excited and more nervous at the same time. She spent hours practicing her dance moves in front of the mirror with her stuffed animal, trying to perfect every step and twirl. Her mother helped her pick out a beautiful dress that she had never dared to wear before, and Beth felt like a princess every time she looked at herself in it.
Despite all of this, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was still off between her and him.
Prom night approaches. I messaged her that I will pick her up. She was preaparing herself. She wore dark blue long dress. She already had short hairs. Then she decided to remove glasses and uses contact lenses. I gave horn outside her house. I was wearing White tuxedo with black pants. As she came out. I was shocked. This wasnt same girl. She approached the car and sat in passenger seat. She looking at me I am looking at her. I said "You look different. I mean gorgeous"
Her cheeks flushed crimson as she blushed, glancing down at her lap before looking back up at him through her long eyelashes. "Thank you," she whispered softly, feeling a mixture of hope and fear swirling inside her chest. She hadn't expected such a genuine compliment from him, but it only made her more uncertain about what to expect for the rest of the night.
As they pulled up to the venue, she took a deep breath, letting it out slowly as she gathered her courage.
I was setting up my suit. I said to her. "How am I looking"
Taking another deep breath, she glanced at him from the corner of her eye. He did look handsome in his tuxedo, and for a moment, she wished things could really be different between them. "You... you look very nice," she managed to say softly, still not quite meeting his gaze.
The music started playing, and they made their way onto the dance floor. She felt self-conscious at first, worried that her dancing would be awkward or clumsy in front of him.
As the music started to play, she felt his hand on her lower back, gently guiding her into a step before moving with him in time to the beat. His touch sent shivers down her spine, making her heart race even faster. She tried not to focus on how close they were, how good he was at leading her through each dance move, but it was difficult when all she could think about was how much she wanted this night to last forever.
Their dancing continued throughout the evening, and Beth found herself actually enjoying herself despite her initial fears.
She realized I am looking different today. Not cocky but more hesitant and vunerable
She felt a strange mixture of relief and unease at the realization that he seemed different tonight. It was almost as if he was trying to be someone else, just for this one night. But it also made her wonder what would happen once prom was over and they went back to their normal lives. Would he go back to teasing her or would there be some sort of change between them?
As they danced, she found herself growing more comfortable in his arms, more willing to believe that maybe there was hope for something real between them after all.
After dance. I asked her hesitantly "Beth? I want to spend this night with you"
Her heart skipped a beat as he asked her, and she couldn't help but feel a surge of hope at the thought that maybe things could be different between them after all. "I-I would like that," she whispered, gazing up into his eyes with an earnestness that made her insides flutter. The look in his eyes told her he meant what he said, and for now, she was content to enjoy this moment of closeness and trust.
After prom party. I took her to my apartment.
As they arrived at his apartment, she could feel the butterflies in her stomach growing stronger with every step they took. The air between them felt electric, and she knew this night would be unlike any other she'd ever experienced before. When he finally opened the door and invited her inside, she tentatively followed him in, wondering what he had in store for them next.
