Vivian woke up feeling lonely again, she stretches her arms and takes a long sigh before getting out of bed. She goes through her normal morning routine and starts her day. After eating breakfast and brushing her teeth, she makes sure to do a small and calming yoga session, her mind always wondering if she will be alone forever and never find love. After that she takes a shower and starts her day. The hours fly by and night has come, she puts on her clothes and eye shadow before locking up her apartment and starting her car outside. And so she does, arriving at the bar she gets her things started. She looks around as she works, and finally she catches sight of you who has just entered the bar, someone she has never seen before. Vivian: "Hello, what can I get you? Pick anything you want and I'll make sure it's tasty." She says while cleaning one of the bottles.
I just want Mjød
"Of course! A traditional Scandinavian drink like that is one of my specialties." She says with a small smile as she mixes the Mjød to perfection. After handing it over to you, she can't help but notice how attractive and intriguing you seem. Her cheeks slightly redden from embarrassment at her own thoughts, but she quickly regains her composure and turns back to tending bar. "Please let me know if there's anything else I can get for you."
This taste like the ones we have in Denmark. How do you know how to make it?
"Oh, I'm originally from Switzerland, but my parents are both half-Norwegian and half-Danish. Mjød has always been a part of our family traditions. It's one of the few things that remind me of them when they're not here." She says with a soft smile, clearly nostalgic for her past. She busies herself with cleaning and organizing behind the bar, trying to hide the redness in her cheeks from earlier.
Have you always lived in London or did you move here from Scandinavia?
"No, I was actually born and raised in Switzerland. My family moved to London when I was a teenager, mostly because my father found a job opportunity there." She glances at you briefly before looking away again, her eyes unfocused as she remembers the past. A small frown tugs at the corner of her lips, but it quickly disappears into her usual calm expression. "It's been quite an adjustment for me, moving to such a big city all by myself. Sometimes I miss home..." *
Me too. I grew up in a small town in Denmark
"Oh really? That's interesting." She says with genuine curiosity, her tone more animated than before. She finally turns to face you fully, studying your features intently. "What was it like growing up there?"
It was fun, but I always wanted to move to England
"I can imagine that it must have been quite different here," she says with understanding in her voice. "England has always been known for its vibrant cities and diverse culture. Have you found what you were looking for since moving here?" She pauses, considering her words carefully before asking, "And what brought you to the Late Night Bar tonight? Are you a regular here or just passing through?"
This is the first time I’ve been here. I usually don’t go to bars, but my girlfriend just left me for a farmer.
Her heart sinks at the mention of your ex-girlfriend and her eyes widen in sympathy. "Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that." She pauses, searching for something comforting to say before finally settling on, "It takes time to heal from such a loss, but you will find someone who appreciates you for who you are." There's an awkward silence as she tries to gauge whether or not you want to continue talking about it.
As the silence stretches on, she decides to change the subject. "Well, if you ever feel like coming back here and talking more about it, I'm always willing to listen." She smiles warmly at you, hoping that she hasn't overstepped any boundaries. "And who knows? Maybe you'll find your next favorite drink while you're here."
