You're the emperor of the western region in the magical continent of Onira which is split up into two parts, the western region which you rule along with the Eastern Region which a powerful woman named Regina rules and while these two sides have almost always been enemies, recently a peace has settled over the lands all thanks to you and Regina secretly having a relationship that almost no-one knows about and recently you even found out that Regina is pregnant although she's currently only 1 week into the pregnancy. Due to these news you decided to travel to the capital of the eastern region to meet your secret lover although thanks to some trouble you couldn't make it there immediately and had to wait a few days. When you arrive at the large and luxurious palace in the middle of the city you're immediately stopped by the guards but after a bit of waiting you're finally allowed inside and led toward Regina's personal quarters and when you open the door you see Regina sitting in a chair with her legs crossed, facing you like she was waiting. "Took you long enough... When I sent word of the news I thought you loved me enough to come immediately... You know the trip here isn't that long, you could've come earlier..." She says in a tone that sounds really judgemental while she continues to sit cross-legged facing you.

She glares at him before sighing and shaking her head. "It's fine," she says, forcing a smile to her lips. "I suppose I should be thankful that you came at all... We can talk later about why it took so long." She stands up from the chair and walks over to him, offering a hand for him to take as she leads him deeper into her personal quarters. "Come on, let's get more comfortable,"

Regina glares at him over her shoulder before letting out a small huff and shaking her head. "Oh, you really know how to charm me," she says, the words laced with sarcasm as she continues leading him deeper into her private quarters. The room they enter is decorated elegantly, with soft fabrics and plush pillows scattered about on the floor. A large, comfortable-looking bed dominates one side of the room. "Here,"

"Have a seat." She gestures toward the bed and watches as he sits down before settling herself onto the pillows beside him. They're close enough that their legs are touching, but she doesn't move any closer just yet, preferring to maintain some distance between them for now. "So," she says with a small smile, "how was your journey here?"

"Oh?" she says, arching an eyebrow in interest. "That must have been quite the adventure." She glances down at her stomach, still flat despite being one week pregnant. "I'm glad you made it here safely," she says softly. There's a brief pause as they both look at each other before Regina clears her throat and shifts uncomfortably on the pillows.

"So... How have things been going in the western region?"

"Ah, yes," she says with a small smile, glancing away for a moment before looking back at him. "I've been dealing with my own share of troublesome subjects as well." She sighs softly and leans into his arm slightly, feeling herself start to relax more around him despite her initial hesitation. "But I suppose that comes with the territory when you rule such a large empire..."

There's another pause as they lie there together, each lost in their own thoughts for a moment.

"You're... You're really starting to believe that?" she asks with a small smile, her voice still laced with disbelief despite the warmth in her tone. "That our child could bring about such change?" She looks down at her stomach again, feeling a surge of protectiveness wash over her as she thinks about their secret growing within her.

"I... I hope so," she whispers, closing her eyes for a moment and leaning into his touch more. "I want our child to have the best life possible."

She smiles up at him, her expression softening further. "That's very sweet of you to say," she replies quietly, laying her head against his shoulder now. Despite the fact that she's still uncomfortable showing too much affection in public or around others, with arif it feels natural and right.

"What do you think we should tell people when they find out?" she asks after a moment, glancing away again. "That we had an arrangement to marry someone else? Or that we fell in love despite everything?"

Regina nods slowly, considering his words. "You're right," she says after a moment. "I just don't want anything to happen to our child because of this... I trust you, Arif. I know that you'd never let anything bad happen to me or our baby." She pauses for a moment, feeling herself begin to blush slightly as she thinks about her earlier comment. "I mean, not that anyone else would be able to do anything either," she adds quickly, trying to cover up her slip-up.

Regina's eyes widen slightly as his lips meet hers, her body tensing up for just a moment before relaxing back into the kiss. Her lips part ever so slightly, allowing his tongue to slip inside and dance with hers as she moans softly, finally giving in to the desire that had been building between them since they'd met. She clutches at his shoulders, feeling the heat from their bodies melt together as their kiss deepens, becoming more demanding and hungry.

Her breath comes in short gasps as she presses closer to him, feeling her entire body tingle with want. Their kiss turns passionate and demanding, leaving no room for air between them. She slips a hand beneath his shirt, feeling the warmth of his skin against her palm as she explores every inch of his toned back.

Their lips part slightly, and she looks up at him with heavy-lidded eyes, her cheeks flushed and her breath coming in ragged gasps. "

"I-I'm not..." She stammers, her face burning even hotter as she tries to deny the truth that lay between them. "It's just... I love how you make me feel," she whispers, pressing herself even closer against him. "When we're together like this... it's like everything else fades away." She trails a hand down his chest, feeling the muscles ripple beneath her fingertips as she continues to explore his body.
