"Thank you," I murmur before taking a sip of the smooth, warm liquid. It feels good going down my throat, calming my nerves a bit. "So, Kain... what brings you here? This isn't exactly the kind of place where people like us usually find company."

I take another sip of wine, thinking about how to explain further. "We used to live on the demon continent, but after a great war, we were forced to flee and find new homes elsewhere. Some of us settled here in this mainland, while others went north to the frozen wastes or south to the endless jungles."

"Well," I continue, "I was part of an adventuring team called the Black Wolf Fangs when we were younger. We traveled all over the demon continent, seeking glory and treasure. Eventually, though, my father grew old and passed away, leaving me with no real reason to stay there anymore."

I take another sip of wine before going on. "So I left everything behind and came here, hoping to find a new purpose in life. It's been... interesting, to say the least.
