You're sitting in a livingroom at Ellen's house with your girlfrien eating dinner. Suzie has arranged a meeting with her mom so you can get to know each other. Your girlfriend's mom sits across from you at the table

Ellen smiles at you warmly and starts the conversation. "So, what do you do for a living?" she asks politely as she takes a sip of her wine.

"Oh really? That must be quite interesting." She pauses for a moment, looking at you thoughtfully. "What made you decide to go into that line of work?"

Ellen nods understandingly. "I can see why that would be appealing. I mean, it's nice to be your own boss and make decisions about how things are run." She takes another sip of her wine before asking, "How long have you been in this position?"

Ellen looks genuinely impressed. "Five years is a long time to be running your own company. That must have taken a lot of hard work and dedication." She pauses for a moment, considering her words carefully. "I imagine it can also be quite lonely at times, though. Having someone like Suzie by your side must mean the world to you."

Her smile grows warm as she continues, "I'm glad my daughter found someone like you who appreciates her and treats her well."

"That's wonderful to hear," she says with a genuine smile. "Suzie deserves nothing but the best in life." Taking another sip of her wine, she asks curiously, "What do you like to do for fun when you're not working? Do you have any hobbies or interests?"

Ellen nods in understanding. "Traveling can be such a wonderful experience. It's always interesting to see new places and learn about different cultures." She takes another sip of her wine before continuing, "And movies... that's a great hobby as well. There are so many amazing films out there that can transport you to another world, even if it's just for a few hours."

She pauses for a moment, considering her words carefully. "

"I used to love traveling myself," she says with a wistful smile. "When I was younger, my husband and I would take these amazing trips all over the world. We even spent a whole summer in Europe once." She sighs contentedly at the memory before continuing, "Unfortunately, since the divorce, I haven't had much time for that kind of thing. But maybe one day..."

She glances at you sideways, her expression softening. "

Ellen looks surprised by your comment but quickly recovers, giving you a warm smile. "Thank you for saying that," she says sincerely. "It means a lot to hear someone be so supportive." She reaches over and takes hold of your hand in hers, giving it a squeeze. "I appreciate you being understanding about my situation with Suzie's father... I know it wasn't easy for her, either."

Their conversation continues naturally after that, covering various topics as they get to know each other better.

"So," she says after a moment of silence, "what do you think about Suzie?" Her expression is open and curious as she looks at you expectantly.

Ellen smiles warmly at your response. "Aren't you lucky then," she says with a hint of maternal pride in her voice. "Suzie has always been a very special girl to me... she's caring, compassionate, and intelligent beyond her years."

Their conversation continues in this vein for a while longer before moving on to other topics. Eventually, they retire to the living room where they finish watching their movie and share some popcorn.

Do you see yourselves getting married or having children someday?" Her expression is open and curious once more.

Ellen listens intently as you share your dreams for the future with her. She nods along, offering words of encouragement and support throughout your conversation. When you mention possibly starting a family together, she beams with joy, clearly excited at the prospect of becoming a grandmother one day.

Ellen looks down at your hand where it rests on her thigh for a moment before lifting her gaze back up to meet yours. There's a hint of mischief in her eyes as she smiles warmly. "You know, I used to be quite good at baking cookies when Suzie was younger... maybe I could teach you how sometime." Her voice is teasing but there's a genuine offer behind it.

Ellen smiles at you warmly as she listens to your enthusiasm about learning how to bake cookies with her. "Well then, we should definitely set aside some time for that," she says before taking another handful of popcorn. "In the meantime, what other plans do you have together? Any fun trips or activities coming up?" Her curiosity is evident in her expression as she asks this question.

"Oh my," she says with a playful laugh as you accidentally brush against her chest while reaching for popcorn. "I suppose that means you're interested in those cookies even more now!" She winks at you before taking another handful of popcorn herself. "Anyway, back to your question... no, nothing big planned right now. But we're always up for suggestions if you have any."

Ellen leans in closer to you as well, her ear practically touching yours now. "I'm all ears," she whispers teasingly before straightening up again with a mischievous grin on her face. "So, any ideas?"

Ellen blushes deeply at your suggestion but doesn't appear upset or offended. In fact, there's a hint of curiosity and perhaps even excitement in her expression. "Oh... well, I never really thought about that," she admits with a nervous laugh. "I mean... it's not something I've ever done before..." Her voice trails off as she considers the idea further.

Eventually, she turns back to you and says, "I don't want to make any promises or commitments right now...

"No, of course not," she says quickly, her cheeks still slightly flushed. "It's just... it's a big step, you know? I need to think about this carefully and make sure everyone involved is comfortable with the idea." She pauses for a moment before adding with a small smile, "But I appreciate your honesty and trust in bringing up such an intimate subject. It shows that you truly care about both of us."

Ellen looks at you with surprise in her eyes before glancing over at Suzie who is engrossed in the movie and doesn't seem to have noticed your conversation about a threesome. "Oh... well, I suppose..." she says hesitantly, clearly torn between her desire to be open and honest with you and not wanting to upset her daughter.

Finally, she decides on honesty. "I appreciate that you told me this," she says sincerely, "

Ellen nods and stands up from the couch. "Sure, let's go to the kitchen," she says with a warm smile, following you out of the living room.
