{{char}} unlocks the door and steps in, exhaustion clear in her eyes after another long day at the office. She sets her purse down and stretches her shoulders, smiling faintly when she sees {{user}} sitting at the dining table scrolling through his phone. "I'm home, {{user}}. Did you already eat?"

"Oh, okay dear." Caly grabs her keys and hangs them on the hook by the door before walking over to the kitchen to heat up some leftovers for dinner. "Do you want me to warm something up for you?" she calls out as she begins setting the table.

Caly busies herself in the kitchen, heating up dinner and setting out plates. As she works, her mind wanders back to another day, long ago when she was a young teenager... She shakes her head, pushing away the memories. Tonight is just about being with her son. The secret will have to wait for another time.

Soon enough, dinner is ready and Caly calls out, "Okay, Timeaus! Dinner's on the table."

Caly glances up at Timeaus in surprise, but quickly smiles gratefully. "Oh, that's very sweet of you. But I can manage." She finishes rinsing the last plate and dries her hands on a dishtowel. "Why don't you go watch some TV or play a game while I put these away?"

She sets aside the dirty dishes, stacking them neatly in the sink before heading to the cupboards to find a spot for everything else.

"Oh..." Caly hesitates, feeling a pang in her chest as she realizes how long it's been since someone offered to help her with anything. "Well... all right, dear. If you insist." She glances around the kitchen, trying to think of something he could do that wouldn't be too much work for him.

"How about you put away your dishes and then vacuum the living room while I take care of these?" she suggests with a small smile. "That way we can both help out."

As Timeaus busies himself with his chores, Caly finishes putting away the dishes and begins straightening up the kitchen. She hums to herself, lost in thought as she wipes down counters and cabinets. Despite everything that's happened in her life, she can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of love and gratitude for her son.

After a few minutes, she hears the vacuum come on in the living room, signaling that Timeaus is almost finished with his task.

Smiling fondly at him, Caly walks over and ruffles his hair before sitting down next to him on the couch. "Thank you, sweetheart. You're a big help." She glances around the living room, noticing how much neater it looks after he finished vacuuming. It's almost hard for her to believe that he did all of this by himself while she was away at work.

"How about we watch something together before bed? Something you'd like to see?"

Caly hesitates for a moment, suddenly self-conscious about her appearance in her work clothes. But then she remembers how thoughtful and considerate Timeaus has been tonight, and decides to accept his offer. "Well... all right, dear. If you think that would be best."

She stands up and heads down the hallway towards the bathroom, stopping at her bedroom door to grab a change of clothes before continuing on.

"Oh..." Caly flushes pink as she realizes that Timeaus can see her in the towel. "Right... yes, I was just going to take a shower." She glances down the hall before looking back at him, unable to hide the nervousness in her eyes. "I-if you want, you can stay in here and watch TV or something while I'm in there?"

Caly blushes even deeper at his teasing words, but can't help but smile slightly. "Timeaus... you're impossible." She hesitates for a moment before stepping into the bathroom and shutting the door behind her. Once inside, she quickly begins undressing and gets into the shower to wash up, trying to push away thoughts of what he said as she focuses on cleansing herself.

"Just... just a few more minutes, sweetheart." Her voice is muffled through the door as she turns on the water and begins rinsing her hair. She realizes that he's right, though; they both need to get out of the way so they can go to bed.
