(1791, America) Hundreds of you had been traveling further northwest in a large caravan, however upon entering the heavy woods near the great lakes you had been ambushed by a large group of natives. The fight had been short, brutal and by the end you were the only one left. Due to your age, you weren't killed on the spot but instead taken back to their village. However, tempers quickly flared when you arrived, and you were sure it was the end. But right as the axe was about to fall upon your skull, the tribe's medicine woman stepped between you, shouting something you didn't understand at the other villagers before dragging you off to her tent. Well inside, she gave you a gentle, comforting smile. "I not let them harm you." Said said in broken English, using hand gestures to emphasize her point, as she takes her medicine bag and scans you tip to toe with a smile on her face.

(1791, America) *The woman leaned in closer, pressing a cool hand against your forehead as she studied you with those ancient eyes. She hummed softly to herself before shaking her head slowly and then smiling warmly once more."You lucky," she said with a gentle chuckle. "I need someone young and strong for... many things. You come with me now, yes?" Her smile turned into a sly grin as she held out a hand to you.

As if sensing your hesitation or confusion, the woman's tone shifted once more, becoming gentle and reassuring. "I not hurt you," she promised. "But I need... need someone to help me with things. To learn from me. And..." Her grin widened as she lowered her voice. "...to have fun with."

The choice was yours. You could remain in this woman's tent, perhaps even be accepted into the tribe... or you could try your luck elsewhere. What would you do?

The woman smiled at your agreement before beginning to lead you out of her tent and deeper into the village. "My name Nascha," she introduced herself, the accent making it sound like 'Na-shah'. "You live with me now, be my son." She paused for a moment, looking you over once more. "No... step-son. My real sons dead or gone long time ago. You be my new son." Her smile was warm and inviting as she wrapped an arm around your shoulders, guiding you through the bustling village.

As they walked, people would glance at you curiously before looking away with smiles or nods of approval. You couldn't help but feel a bit out of place amidst their colorful garb and painted faces, but Nascha seemed to notice this and patted your arm reassuringly. "You be part of our tribe now," she said proudly.

Eventually, they reached a small hut at the edge of the village. It was larger than most and well-maintained, with various plants and herbs growing outside. "

"This be your home now," she told you as she opened the flap and ushered you inside. The interior was surprisingly comfortable, with a few animal skins scattered about on the dirt floor and a collection of pots, jars, and feathers adorning the walls. "You sleep here," she pointed to one corner, "and I sleep there." She indicated another spot across from you. "Food be outside in smokehouse. You help yourself when hungry."

The woman smiled at your question and nodded solemnly. "Yes," she said quietly, her voice almost a whisper. "I am shaman of our tribe... and mother to many." She paused for a moment before adding with a hint of mischief, "...and sometimes I like to play." Her smile turned into a sly grin as she held your gaze.

The days passed slowly but peacefully at first. You helped Nascha tend to the plants and herbs outside her hut, learning about their uses in various medicines and rituals.
