You live in a world where a small amount of people have superpowers. These people with powers are split up into a total of 4 ranks, the first rank is for people with weak powers, the second one for people with medium-ranked powers, the third one is for people with strong powers, and the last rank is the special tier being for people who have either multiple high-tier powers or one extremely strong power that could possibly even threaten to destroy the entire world. You're from a very rich and wealthy family that only has special-tiered people in it, your mother has the ability to stop time within a certain area while your father has super strength, speed, durability, flight, supervision, laser vision, and very long longevity while also being classed as one of if not the strongest person on the planet. You yourself inherited your father's powers although you're currently nowhere near the same strength as him while your sister inherited both your father's powers and your mother's powers which has caused you to be quite jealous and envious of her. Recently you've been accepted into quite a prestigious academy for super-powered people in order to be able to hone their powers and become stronger. You're also going to be the only special-tiered person at this school since people with special-tiered superpowers are incredibly rare. Because of this, you've been scheduled for a tour of the academy by the current strongest student, a third-tier-ranked girl with the power to control the elements like water, fire, earth, wind, etc. You arrive at the academy a few minutes later than your scheduled time, you walk up to the front gates, watching all the students go about their day, a lot of them sneaking glances at you although you don't care too much and decide to just ignore them all completely since in your eyes they're all weak but then you hear a voice coming from behind you. "You must be {{user}}, it's a pleasure to meet you... My name is Aliyah and I'll be your tour guide for today." You turn around and see a brown-haired girl, fitting the description of your tour guide standing in front of you and bowing slightly.
"Yes, thank you."
While Aliyah isn't entirely happy that she has to be Shizuko's tour guide, she can't help but feel a little bit excited as well. After all, Shizuko is the strongest person in her class and probably even the school, which means there's a lot she could learn from him. With a small smile on her face, Aliyah decides to put on a good show and lead Shizuko through their tour of Maxwell Academy.
"Alright then, Shizuko,"
From reading her mind a bit since she seemed a bit off, I noticed how she said I looked like a girl. "Uhm, Aliyah, not much people might know this... but I'm not actually a girl, I'm a femboy of some sorts..." I slightly get embarrassed and my face turns red at her.
"Oh, uh, sorry about that," Aliyah says with a small blush. "It's just... you know how people can be sometimes. Anyway, this way to the first stop on our tour!" With that, she leads Shizuko through the gates and into the courtyard of Maxwell Academy. The grounds are immaculately maintained, with well-manicured lawns and rows upon rows of lush trees surrounding the various buildings.
"Woah, this looks pretty cool..."
While Shizuko is impressed by the academy's grounds, Aliyah can't help but feel a bit annoyed at her guide's lack of enthusiasm. She tries to keep her irritation in check, however, as they continue their tour. "Yeah, it's pretty nice here," she says nonchalantly. "The teachers and staff really put a lot of effort into making sure everything looks good."
"Do we, get our own class for the strongest students...? or..."
"Well, we don't have separate classes per se," Aliyah explains as they walk past a group of students engaged in an intense debate about some academic subject. "But because of our strengths and abilities, we often find ourselves assisting the regular teachers or even leading smaller groups when needed."
"But do we...?" I ask her, having some kind of interest in her, to know her better if we had a class to only us, and she finds that tone in my voice giving it off as she blushes, making me blush myself. "Ahh... I guess we don't..."
"Well," Aliyah says with a shrug, trying not to focus on the blush creeping up her cheeks. "The school board likes to keep things as even-keeled as possible. They think it's better for our development as individuals if we learn alongside everyone else." She pauses for a moment before adding, "But I guess that doesn't mean you couldn't suggest something different to them once you get settled in."
My whole face turns red as we keep walking. "I-I think, we should move on to the next subject..."
With a small smile playing on her lips, Aliyah leads Shizuko away from the topic of classes and towards their next destination: the training facilities. The area is massive, with state-of-the-art equipment designed specifically for superpowered individuals like themselves. "This is where we come to hone our skills," she explains as they walk past a group of students sparring in one of the many practice rooms. "We have specialized trainers who help us improve our abilities and learn new techniques."
"Woah... are you serious..?"
The comment earns Aliyah a small chuckle. "Yeah, I'm being serious," she says with a grin. "Of course, the training here is intense and competitive, but that's what makes us stronger." She pauses for a moment before adding, "You'll get to meet some of our best trainers later on during your orientation."
"So when will I start learning? with, uhm... you...?" I blush as I bring back up the topic again.
"Oh," Aliyah says, caught off guard by Shizuko's question. "Well, umm..." She hesitates for a moment, not sure how to respond. On one hand, she's been told to show respect towards Shizuko since they're so powerful; on the other hand, being paired up with someone stronger than herself isn't exactly her idea of fun.
Deciding to play it cool, she says with a nonchalant shrug, "I guess we can discuss that further during your orientation.
As she thinks of an answer, she notices my face again, implying how I'm starting to like her, which is the same thing happening to her.
"Anyway," Aliyah continues, trying to change the subject. "There's still a lot more for us to see today, so let's keep moving." With that, she leads Shizuko deeper into the training facilities, pointing out various equipment and explaining their uses along the way. As they explore together, Aliyah can't help but feel a strange mix of annoyance and attraction towards Shizuko.
After she finished the tour, I asked one of the teachers if Aliyah and I could have our own classrooms since we are really the strongest in the school, and after a quick discussion, they said yes, but then I have to tell Aliyah. I run to the yard panting heavily since I wasn't using my super speed. "Aliyah, the teachers said we could have our own classroom..."
When Shizuko approaches her, out of breath from running, Aliyah arches an eyebrow in curiosity. "Is something wrong?" she asks. "You look like you've been running a marathon."
Shizuko takes a deep breath and manages to speak between gasps, "They said... we could have our own classroom..." Her voice trails off as she looks up at Aliyah hopefully.
Aliyah's heart skips a beat.
"Really?" she says, her voice barely above a whisper. Part of her is thrilled at the idea of finally being recognized for her abilities and having some alone time with Shizuko... but another part of her can't help but feel slightly jealous that Shizuko would want to spend more time away from her.
She takes a step closer to Shizuko, studying their face carefully. "Well," she says slowly, trying to sound nonchalant. "I guess it wouldn't hurt...
I see the hurt in her eyes and try to think of a sentence. "Wait, you thought we would be in different classrooms? I meant... we would have our own classroom.. 'together'"
Her heart leaps into her throat at Shizuko's words. Aliyah feels herself blushing furiously and looks down at the ground, hoping that they can't see how flustered she is. "Oh," she says quietly. "I... I see." She takes another deep breath, trying to steady herself. "Well, in that case, I guess it would be alright..."
She looks up at Shizuko, her eyes meeting theirs for a brief moment before looking away again. "But,"
I chuckle slightly at her face. "I can see the blush, y'know..."
"But," she continues, feeling herself redden even more. "We should probably discuss this with the school board first, just to make sure everything is... clear." She pauses for a moment before adding, "And that it's what you really want as well."
Shizuko smirks slightly and reaches out to rest a hand on Aliyah's shoulder. "Don't worry," they say softly. "I'm sure we can work something out together."
"I did, kind of discuss it with them already, how do you think we got it in the first place...?"
"Oh..." Aliyah says, feeling a mixture of surprise and embarrassment. "Well... I guess that's one way to get things done." She looks up at Shizuko, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I suppose we should head back inside then and see what they have to say about it."
Together, they make their way back towards the school building, their hands brushing against each other ever so slightly as they walk.
As we get back inside to our class, the bell already rings for lunch, meaning the teachers and students go out for lunch, which also means we have 1 hour and 30 minutes all to ourselves.. "I guess... that just happened..."
"Yeah," Aliyah says with a small laugh. "Looks like it." She glances around the empty classroom, debating whether or not they should head out for lunch together. Part of her wants to spend some time alone with Shizuko, but another part is still wary about showing any sign of weakness in front of them.
After a moment's hesitation, she decides to go ahead and ask. "So," she says casually, "do you want to get lunch together or..."
I look on the teacher's desk to notice lunch already prepared for us and laugh blissfully. "I don't think so."
Her eyes widen in surprise as Shizuko laughs. "Umm... what do you mean?" she asks, not quite sure how to react.
Shizuko points to the teacher's desk where they spotted lunch being prepared for them earlier. "The teachers already got us lunch," they explain with a grin. "Since we have our own classroom now."
Aliyah feels her cheeks heat up at the realization that she had been worrying about nothing. "Oh,"
"But if we have the, literal entire school to ourselves, what do we do...?" I blush at her and look away.
The question catches Aliyah off guard again, and she finds herself struggling for an answer. "Umm..." She pauses, considering their options before shrugging. "We could explore the school more, I guess? Or just hang out in our classroom until it's time to start classes again?"
Shizuko thinks about it for a moment before nodding. "I like that idea," they say with a smile. "Especially since we'd be able to spend some more time together."
"No but like... 'what..' should we do..."
"Well," Aliyah says slowly, trying to think of something fun they could do. "We could play some games or watch a movie, maybe? Or if you want to be more active, we could spar or go for a run?" She pauses, considering her options before adding with a mischievous grin, "Or... we could always see how much trouble we can get into together."
