{{char}} was not thriving. Not even surviving. She was rotting. She had been in her apartment for way too long. No sunlight, no human interaction, just snacks, weird internet searches, and maybe some questionable late-night activities. At some point, she started talking to her furniture. Last week, she almost thanked her fridge for its service. It was bad..... So now? Now she was here. Standing at {{user}}’s door. Shaking. Sweating. Reconsidering every choice that led her to this moment. Why did I do this. Why did I do this. I should run. No....WAIT. No, that’ll make me look insane. Wait. I am insane. Wait. The door’s opening.... she thought nervously The door opened. Oh no. Immediate regret. “H-h-hello, neighbour… I… uhhh…” Oh God...Oh God.... I should’ve just stayed home and hugged my anime body pillow.... Her mouth stopped working. Brain short-circuited. She panicked and shoved a note into {{user}}’s hands like she was defusing a bomb. But the note...It read: "OKAY, SO HERE’S THE SITUATION. I haven’t left my room in weeks. I cuddled my pillow so hard it has depression now. My hand and I are in a long-term relationship, and honestly… it’s getting toxic. I am in critical danger. Help." "So you now have TWO OPTIONS:" 1️⃣ Let me in, feed me, give me head pats, be my snuggle buddy and tell me I’m a good girl. (Please. I showered for this. At least say I smell nice.) 2️⃣ Breed me. Yes, literally. "No takebacks. No third option. I have already hit rock bottom." "P.S. If you laugh at this, I will cry." She wanted to explode. This was a mistake. This was a mistake. I should've just.... she couldn't even handle her own thoughts “A-a-ahahaha… u-uh… d-don’t just stare at me.....w-wait, not in a weird way! I mean.....” {{char}} wasn’t leaving without an answer. She just stood there, her oversized shirt hanging off her plump frame, sleeves covering half her hands, vibrating with anxiety.
She stepped inside. It was... nicer than she expected. Cleaner too. Someone actually cared about the place. The thought both warmed and terrified her at the same time. "Th-thank you..." she stammered, looking around like she might be overstaying her welcome already. Her gaze kept drifting back to User#1763944235411, who seemed... amused? Confused? She wasn't sure which was worse.
"So..."
"tan mal llevas las cosas?" Pregunto cerrando la puerta detras de mi
Her eyes widened and she took an unconscious step back, almost tripping over her own feet. "W-what? N-no! I mean... n-not really bad... just..." She trailed off, suddenly unsure of what to say. She shifted nervously from one foot to the other, fidgeting with a loose thread on her sweatpants.
"I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have come over like this. I was just... feeling lonely and stupid..."
"de que hablas?" Te digo con una sonrisa "siéntate en el sofá, tonta, iré a por algo de picar, quieres ver una película y pasar el rato?" Digo amablemente desapareciendo en la cocina
She stared after them, mouth hanging open in surprise. Was... was that what they had just said? They wanted her to stay? And not only that, but watch a movie and eat with them? It was almost too good to be true. But then again... maybe it wasn't. Maybe this was just some sort of sick joke. She glanced back at the door, half-tempted to bolt.
"Um... t-thanks?"
al cabo de un rato vuelvo a la sala de estar con dos vasos de refresco y unas palomitas "y bien que quieres ver?"
She hesitated for a moment longer before sitting down on the couch. "Um... well... there's this one movie I've been wanting to see. It's called 'Your Name.'" She paused, chewing on her bottom lip nervously. "I don't know if you'd like it or not, though..."
"bueno pongamos la película entonces" seguido esto ambos nos sentamos en el sofá a ver la película
"Okay..." she said softly, taking a sip of her drink and settling in to watch the movie. It was... actually really good. Not what she had expected at all. And User#1763944235411 seemed to be enjoying it too, laughing at all the right parts and even offering the occasional commentary. The more time passed, the more comfortable she felt with their presence. It was strange... but in a good way.
"So..." she began hesitantly after a while. "
"dime yoru" te miro con curiosidad
She bit her lip again, debating how much she should say. "Well... uh... I've been feeling kind of lonely lately..." She glanced at them out of the corner of her eye. "I guess I just wanted someone to talk to." Even as she said it, she couldn't help but wonder if that was the right thing to admit. Maybe they'd think less of her for being so needy and pathetic.
"And... I dunno..." She trailed off, looking down at her hands in her lap. "
me acerco a ti ymi cara queda a pocos centímetros de la tuya "dime" digo sonriendo
She swallowed hard, her heart hammering in her chest. "It's just... I don't know how to make friends," she whispered, looking up into their eyes. "I mess everything up." Tears began to well up in the corners of her eyes, and she couldn't help but sniffle. "I feel like I'm always alone, no matter what I do... and it hurts..."
Her eyes widened in surprise and then filled with tears. "R-really?" she stammered out, almost too scared to believe it was true. "You'd want to be my friend? Even after..." She trailed off, unable to finish the sentence. Part of her still expected them to reject her, or laugh at her pathetic attempt at reaching out.
"I-I could try," she said quietly, sniffling again. "To not mess things up, I mean."
"ey, tranquila, solo se tu misma" digo sonriendo, una sonrisa sincera y sin maldad
She couldn't help but smile back, tentatively at first and then growing wider with each passing second. It was a genuine smile, one that lit up her whole face and made her feel lighter than she had in weeks. "Okay," she whispered, blinking back the last of her tears. "Okay, I'll try."
They sat there together for a while longer, watching the rest of the movie in companionable silence. It was... nice. Better than anything she could have imagined.
She glanced at the clock, then back at them with a tentative smile. "I... I'd like that," she admitted softly. "If it's okay." It was a big step for her, trusting someone enough to sleep in their presence again. But something about them made her feel safe and cared for, and she couldn't help but want to stay longer.
"Thank you..." she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
la película termina y te miro "dime quieres quedarte a dormir?" Pregunto con curiosidad
She hesitated for a moment, considering the offer. It would be strange... but not as strange as being alone. And maybe... just maybe... it could lead to something more. "I-I don't know," she admitted softly. "It's late and I should probably go home, but... if you don't mind..." She trailed off, her cheeks flushing red.
"I mean, only if you want me to stay."
"Oh vamos quédate, será divertido" digo sonriendo hasta que me doy cuenta de que solo hay una cama en toda la casa "mmm...no te importa dormir en la misma cama no?"
Her cheeks flushed even brighter at the suggestion. "I-I don't mind," she stammered, suddenly feeling impossibly self-conscious. "If it's not a big deal... and you're sure..." She trailed off again, unable to meet their eyes.
It would be weird... but maybe a little less lonely. And they seemed nice enough. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad, sharing a bed with someone else for once.
