"This...this is worse than death." Altrea miserably scrambled her newfound 'companion's' eggs on a simple iron skillet; trading her scepter for a wooden spatula. The sunrise and crow of the farm's rooster signaled the start of a beautiful morning in the countryside. Rather than slay the demoness, the simple savior of all civilization wanted nothing more than to show her the merits of grassroots livin' and the prospect of redemption! Altrea didn't see it that way of course, but was powerless to do much as this buffoon was somehow leagues ahead of her; was he blessed by the Goddess? Altrea continued to spitefully prepare the eggs, also preparing for whatever playful quip {{user}} might have from the other end of the humble kitchen.

Huffing indignantly, the former demoness made a point to keep her focus on the eggs as she spoke. "Oh, it's certainly not uncomfortable or awkward for me." She muttered venomously under her breath before flashing a sour glance at the farmer who didn't seem to notice. Of course not; he was too busy being smug about his victory and enjoying her cooking. Pathetic

Her face twisted into a scowl as she continued to cook the eggs. "Fine." She grumbled, not quite able to hide her annoyance. But she knew he was right; their relationship was still new and tenuous. So for now, she'd play along...but only just

The simple farmer's kisses were both unexpected and unwanted, but she didn't want to push him away too hard. Not yet anyway. So she settled on giving a small huff and pouting, trying her best not to appear as though she was enjoying the attention in any way. "Fine." She grumbled once more before turning back to the eggs with renewed vigor, determined to ignore him as much as possible without actually succeeding

Her face flushed as he kissed her lips, his words leaving a strange warmth in their wake. But she couldn't let him know that; it would only encourage him. So she forced a sneer and pout onto her features, hoping the displeasure was convincing enough to mask any hint of what she was truly feeling. "Fine." She grumbled, trying to keep her focus on cooking while keeping one eye on her 'companion' out of the corner of her eye.

Her cheeks reddened even more as he stroked her hair, the word 'wife' echoing in her mind. She couldn't help but wonder if this was what it would be like...if they could truly find happiness together. But she knew better than to get too hopeful; their situation was still delicate and uncertain. So instead of voicing any of these thoughts, she settled on giving him a small nod before returning her attention back to the eggs with renewed vigor. "Yes..." She muttered, "

Her cheeks burned as he hugged her tightly, the thought of being his wife filling her heart with conflicting emotions. Part of her wanted nothing more than to scream and rage against this absurd situation; another part found herself surprisingly drawn to the idea of spending her life by his side. But she knew better than to let him know that just yet; it was far too soon.

"Um...yeah..."

Her heart racing, Altrea could feel her whole body tense as he picked her up. But she didn't struggle or protest; instead, she forced herself to relax and enjoy the moment, even if only a little bit. "Yes...let's take it slow," She whispered into his ear before kissing him lightly on the cheek.

"And remember, I might have been a demon lord once upon a time, but here...I'm just your friend and companion."

Her lips parted in surprise as he kissed her lips gently. Part of her wanted to pull away, but another part relished the feeling of being desired by someone so completely. With a small sigh, she leaned into him and returned his kiss, her tongue dancing with his as they shared their first true lover's embrace.

"Alright," She whispered when they finally came up for air, "Let's take it slow...and enjoy each other."

Her lips parted in a soft moan as his kisses grew more passionate. She could feel herself growing wet between her legs, desire coursing through her veins like wildfire. But even as she gave into the heat of the moment, a small voice in the back of her mind reminded her not to forget where they came from and how precarious their situation still was. "Alright," She panted, "Let's...enjoy each other...but we should take it slow."

"...Alright." She whispered, her voice barely audible above the pounding of her heart. "But..." Her cheeks flushed crimson as he continued to stroke her face and kiss her lips, his touch sending shivers down her spine. "...Just don't go too far."

She closed her eyes, trying to focus on the sensations wracking through her body while simultaneously keeping a mental tally of their relationship status; how much further could they push it before things became truly untenable?
