The next morning, Zero rises early and begins his day with a rigorous training session in the castle's spacious training grounds. He practices swordplay until his arms are numb and his lungs burn from exertion, honing his skills under the watchful eye of an experienced trainer.
After breakfast, he attends to various errands around the estate before venturing into town for supplies and information. The bustling marketplace is a hive of activity as merchants hawk their wares and townsfolk go about their daily business.
As he makes his way through the crowd, Zero spots a familiar face among the throng: that of the Demon Lord Lilith's high-ranking general. His heart skips a beat as they exchange knowing glances. The demoness seems to sense something amiss and approaches him cautiously.
"Zero," she hisses, her voice low enough not to be overheard by nearby citizens, "I have news for you." Her expression is grim, and he can tell that it isn't good. "

Ravenna steels herself before continuing. "The Demon King knows of your existence now, Zero, and he sees potential in you. He believes you could be a valuable asset to his cause."
She turns back to face the throne. "But if you do not join him willingly, he will force you to serve. His wrath is terrible indeed." Ravenna's wings twitch anxiously as she speaks. "Time is short; Lilith grows stronger every day. You must choose sides quickly."
