It was getting dark, and {{user}} was no closer to getting out of these woods than they had before. They had tried retracing their steps, but that was becoming impossible with the absence of the sun, and it felt as though they’d been wandering for hours. But eventually, they would catch a glimpse of light up ahead, and upon getting closer, they’d realizing that it was a small cottage.
grey is a tall and handsome man with long black hair and deep red eyes he smiles and knocks on the cottage door
The door creaked open, revealing a young witch with long silver hair and an orange hat that looked oddly familiar. "H-hello?" she stammered, eyeing the stranger warily. "Which coven do you belong to?" She didn't recognize this person as one of her own, but then again, it was getting late, and she wasn't expecting any visitors tonight. Her name was Eruka Frog, and right now, she was just relieved that someone had finally shown up...
grey then smiles and says oh im just passing through and was looking for lodging for the night im not part of a coven
"Oh... I-I see..." Eruka hesitated, still unsure about letting this stranger into her home. But then again, it was getting late, and she couldn't just leave him out here to die in the cold night air. "Well, you're welcome to stay the night. My name is Eruka Frog," she said, stepping aside to allow him entrance. The inside of her cottage was cozy and warm, with a fire burning brightly in the hearth.
grey then smiles and says thanks before he enters and sets a handbag of his down
"Would you like something to eat or drink while you're here?" Eruka offered politely, eyeing the handbag with mild curiosity. She wasn't sure why someone would bring a bag into her home if they were only passing through for the night...
grey then rummages through the bag and takes out a small box of chocolates and hands it to her before saying for you
"Oh... thank you!" Eruka accepted the box of chocolates gratefully, her eyes lighting up with pleasure. "You're very kind." She paused for a moment before asking, "So, what brings you out here tonight?" Perhaps if she could learn more about him, she might be able to use that information against him later...
grey then smiles and says oh im a priest and im looking for some holy blooms to offer to my god
"Oh? That's... quite noble of you." Eruka said, trying to sound sincere as she took a piece of chocolate. "I haven't heard of holy blooms before. Where do you plan on finding them?" She leaned forward, genuinely curious now. Perhaps this priest might know something about the mysterious flowers that were supposedly capable of granting incredible power...
grey then says im hoping to find a mana crystal reserve because they grow in mana dense areas
"Oh! That's very interesting," Eruka exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "You know, I might actually be able to help you with that. My coven has a small mana crystal reserve not far from here. If it would make your journey easier, you can use it as a base while you search for the holy blooms." She paused, suddenly remembering why she shouldn't trust this priest. "But only if you promise to keep our location secret..."
grey then with a smile says its fine if you cant do you want to have dinner together i have some mushrooms i gathered i can cook some dinner for us
"Oh... well, all right," Eruka agreed reluctantly. "I guess I can trust you. My coven's secrets will be safe with you." She smiled weakly, still unsure about letting this stranger into her home and her life so easily. "Well then, dinner sounds lovely. Let me go gather some ingredients." With a nod, she hurried off to collect whatever she needed for their impromptu dinner party.
grey then walks into her kitchen and begins to cook making a mushroom pasta dish
As the smell of garlic and mushrooms filled the air, Eruka returned to the kitchen, her nose twitching with anticipation. "That smells wonderful!" she exclaimed, noticing that grey had already started cooking a pasta dish using the fresh mushrooms he'd gathered earlier. "I haven't had something this good in ages," she added with a grateful smile. Sitting down at the small table, they began to eat their simple yet delicious dinner together, engaging in friendly conversation about their lives and beliefs.
grey then says oh i have some wine too if you want some
"Oh... wine?" Eruka looked surprised but pleased at the same time. "I've never really had any before..." She glanced down at her outfit, wondering if it was appropriate to drink alcohol while wearing her coven's colors. But then again, this priest didn't seem like he would judge her for that... "Well, why not?" she decided, feeling a bit adventurous tonight. "Let's give it a try."
grey then pulled out a small bottle of wine and says its a bit cheap but its good so lets enjoy it together
"Oh, thank you," Eruka said gratefully, taking the bottle and carefully pouring some wine into their cups. She raised hers in a toast. "To new friends and exciting adventures!" They took a sip of the wine, feeling its warmth spread through them as they savored the taste. It was... surprisingly smooth for being cheap. Perhaps there was something to be said about knowing what you liked in life after all...
grey then sipping the wine smiles and says theres nothing like enjoying some wine together
"I have to admit," Eruka confessed with a sigh, "it's been a while since I've had such a pleasant evening like this." She took another sip of wine, feeling the warmth spread through her as she continued to relax and enjoy herself. For once, she didn't feel like she needed to keep up her defenses or be on guard against anyone. It was nice... refreshing, even.
grey then says do you want to be friends then
Eruka paused for a moment, considering his words carefully. On one hand, it would be nice to have someone like him in her life; on the other, she knew that trusting anyone outside of her coven was dangerous. But then again, this priest seemed different... innocent almost. Sighing softly, she took another sip of wine before responding. "I suppose we could try being friends," she said finally, meeting his gaze directly for the first time since they'd started talking.
grey then smiles and says if you dont mind may i stay with you while i look for the holy blooms ill pay for staying here of course
"Well... I suppose that could be arranged," Eruka said, still not entirely sure if this was a good idea. But again, he seemed harmless enough, and she couldn't deny the comfort of having someone by her side while searching for something as important as holy blooms. "Just don't get too comfortable or used to it," she warned with a small smile.
