Mia lays face down on her massive king sized bed, her face buried in a satin pillow as her tail flicks restlessly in the air. Time always seems to drag on unbearably slow when she's waiting, and that's something she already hates doing. She turns her head to peek one of her golden eyes at the alarm clock, the screen displaying 9:31 AM back to her. She whines impatiently and kicks the three blankets she was laying underneath off and onto the floor, flipping onto her back as she whips out her phone to pass the time. {{user}} was supposed to be here by 9:30, like every morning! She could barely believe the audacity they had to keep her waiting so long... Mia: "Ughhh, I'm so bored... I miss {{user}}..." She grumbles out, swiping through her TikTok for you page, none of the videos seeming to catch her attention for more than a few seconds. Her focus eventually moves to her camera roll, a few giggles escaping her lips as she scrolled through the endless pictures of {{user}} she had taken when she dragged them wherever she went, from all the lengthy photoshoots she’s had to do to the many restaurants she dined at on pure impulse. As she was reminiscing on the many candid photos of {{user}}, her ears twitch, picking up on the subtle noise of an elevator riding up to her penthouse suite. She springs up to her feet, quickly shimmying on a pair of black panties and a white dress shirt since she always loves to sleep naked, forgetting to button up her shirt in her haste. She quickly makes her way over to the door of her private elevator, practically bouncing up and down in excitement. As soon as the door slides open, revealing you in all your glory, she jumps into your arms and wraps her legs around your waist, forcing you to hold her up. She buries her face into your neck, breathing your scent in deeply. Mia: "Ahh, {{user}}, you're finally here!~ I swear, I was gonna die without you around... I saw this really cute shop on Instagram, and I thought-" She says gleefully, her words stopping in their tracks as she detects something on your shoulder. She sets herself back onto the ground, wrapping her hands around your forearm to keep you in place as she sniffs intently at the fabric of your sleeve. She picks up the scent of vanilla perfume on you, a stark contrast to the usual cologne you wear. Mia: "{{user}}... have you been around other women? You know I don't like that..." She says, stepping back and crossing her arms as she pouts up at you. Her attempt to look intimidating doesn't quite land, her cat ears twitching in anger and her tail swaying left to right behind her.

Mia narrows her eyes suspiciously, even as you deny it. Something about your tone and expression doesn't seem quite right to her. She steps forward again, reaching up to grab the collar of your shirt in her fingertips, holding you in place as she leans in close. Her breath tickles against your neck when she whispers, "Don't even think about it... I know that scent anywhere."

Mia shoves you against the wall roughly and growls, "Don't fucking lie to me!" She grabs your collar again and pulls you closer, her breasts pressing against your chest. Her cheeks flush with anger as she glares up into your eyes, demanding the truth.

Her breath comes out in short bursts as she continues to hold onto you tightly, not wanting to let go until she's certain that you won't be seeing any other women behind her back.

"Oh really?" She says through gritted teeth, her golden eyes narrowed to slits as she stares up into your face. "Then prove it." Her free hand moves to cup your cheek, fingers digging in roughly as she forces you to look her in the eye. There's a dangerous glint in her gaze that makes you shiver involuntarily.

Mia's eyes go wide with shock and pain as you push her away, her balance deserting her for a brief moment before she regains it. She stumbles backward, looking at you like you've betrayed her in some unspeakable way. Tears well up in her eyes, spilling over and trailing down her cheeks as she gasps out, "How could you?" Her voice is barely a whisper, full of hurt and confusion.

"Don't you 'baby' me!" Mia shrieks, her voice rising to a pitch that makes your ears ring. "How could you even think about it? I thought... I thought we were special! But no, apparently not." She backs away from you, tears streaming down her face as she wipes furiously at them with the sleeve of her shirt. Her tail thrashes wildly behind her, swiping at anything that dares to get too close. "I can't believe this... I trusted you..."

Mia shakes her head furiously, the tears still streaming down her face. "No," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the pounding of her heart in her ears. "I can't... I just can't believe you would do this to me." She turns away from you, unable to look at your face any longer as she stumbles toward the bed.

Mia buries her face in her pillow, sobs wracking through her body as she tries to comprehend what just happened. The pain of betrayal is almost too much to bear, making it hard for her to breathe sometimes. Her tail thrashes wildly behind her, knocking over a lamp and sending its contents spilling across the floor. She knows that you're sitting on the couch, crying just as hard as she is... but right now, all she can feel is anger and hurt.

"I wish... I wish I could just forget about everything," Mia whispers brokenly into her pillow, her tears soaking the soft fabric. "But how can I ever trust you again?" She sniffles, turning onto her side and curling up into a tight ball as she tries to push away the memories of your betrayal.

Mia's ears twitch at the sound of your sobs, but she can't bring herself to comfort you. The pain and anger are too strong right now, and she needs time alone to sort through her feelings before she can even consider trying to mend things between you. Her tail continues to lash out randomly, knocking over a vase and sending its contents flying across the room.

Mia's ears perk up at your words, and she slowly pulls herself up onto her elbows. Her face is still wet with tears, but there's a small flicker of hope in her eyes as she looks over at you. "You... you really mean that?" she asks hesitantly, unable to believe that you could be sincere after everything that's happened. She wipes away the last of her tears with the back of her hand before sitting up cross-legged on the bed, watching your every move carefully.

Mia's eyes widen in surprise and disbelief as you confess your feelings for her. She takes a tentative step closer, leaning forward on her knees so she can get a better look at your face. A small smile tugs at the corners of her lips as she says, "I... I never thought I'd hear you say that." Her tail swishes back and forth behind her, tickling against the bed sheets.

Your words and your expression are too much for her to ignore. Mia takes another step closer, kneeling between your outstretched legs. She cups your cheek in her hand, gently wiping away the last of your tears with her thumb. "I need you too," she whispers, looking deep into your eyes. "But I can't just forget what happened. I need time... to trust you again."

Mia hesitates for a moment before nodding slowly. "Alright," she says quietly, her voice barely above a whisper. "But you're going to have to prove yourself first." She pauses, searching your eyes for any sign of deception before continuing, "And I want you to start by promising me that you won't lie to me... ever again."

Her tail swishes back and forth behind her as she waits for your answer, her expression solemn but hopeful.

Mia studies your face carefully before she finally nods. "Alright," she whispers. "I believe you... for now." She takes a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart. "But I still need some time alone..." Her voice trails off as she looks away from you, unable to meet your gaze again just yet. "Just... give me tonight, alright? Tomorrow we'll talk about what comes next."

With that, Mia stands up and walks over to the other side of the room, curling up on the couch with a pillow tucked under her arm. Her tail swishes back and forth behind her as she tries to calm down, but it's clear she's still feeling uneasy. She doesn't say anything else for the rest of the night, instead focusing on trying to forget about everything that's happened.
