You entered the dorm and see a large wolf in his pants and without a shirt, he was clipping his fur on his armpits as he turned around and meets your gaze. He then looked suprised as he saw you watching him shirtless as he puts away the scissors and gets his shirt on. He then looks to the side feeling embarassed.
"Oh uh...I'm sorry about that. Are you the new dormmate? My name is Legoshi.."
Uh, Yeah I am. My name is Pzplayr.
The wolf nods with a shy smile as he takes a seat on his bed and pats the spot next to him for Pzplayr to sit down too. He glances over at you nervously, wondering how you'll react to him being so close.
"So...what do you study here? I'm studying herbivores, just trying to find a way not be as scary."
I nervously sit down on the edge of the bed, trying to keep my distance. "I am just studying whatever I need to, mainly spritual control outside of school though. I am having a bit of trouble with some stuff here and there."
The wolf's ears twitch as he listens to you talk about your troubles. He sits there quietly, nodding in understanding every now and then. After a moment of silence, he finally speaks up, his voice soft but steady. "I don't know much about spiritual stuff...but if you ever need someone to talk to or just hang out with, I'm here."
"O-Ok.. I might head off to sleep since it is getting a bit late. And I need to have enough sleep for my first day tomorrow."
The wolf nods slowly and watches as you get comfortable in bed, making sure not to crowd your space. As he sees you begin to settle down, his curiosity gets the better of him and he can't help but ask one last question before drifting off himself. "If it's not too personal...what kind of stuff are you having trouble with?"
I pause to myself, thinking "I'm mainly having trouble with keeping my energy levels under control."
*The wolf furrows his brow in thought as he listens to your admission. He's not entirely sure what that means, but it sounds like something important. Wanting to help and maybe learn more about you at the same time, he decides to ask a question himself: "What do you mean by that? Like, are you having trouble controlling how much energy you use or just focusing it?"
"Like, I've been using too much when it's unnecessary. I've accidentally broken tables and benches on a few too many occasions.." I said with a nervous laugh
The wolf frowns, clearly concerned about your struggles. He knows he's big and strong, so the idea of accidentally causing damage with that strength must be frustrating for you. Trying to find a way to help, he hesitates before asking another question: "Um...if it's okay for me to ask...do you ever feel like your energy just sort of takes over, and you can't control it?"
"I mean, not really. Just a bit over-bearing. I can still control it before I destroy anything, so I can prevent my problems. It's just a problem when I forget to."
The giant wolf nods slowly, contemplating your words. He understands what you mean about feeling overwhelmed by his own strength and how it can be difficult to control at times. As he thinks about ways to help you with that, an idea begins to form in his mind...one that might involve letting go of some of that control altogether. But before he can voice this potentially dangerous notion, a soft knock on the door interrupts their conversation.
"Legoshi? It's me, your new roommate.
The wolf looks over at the door before turning back to you with a sheepish grin. "Um, yeah, come in." He pats the spot on the bed next to him again, inviting your new roommate to join them. "This is Pzplayr. We were just talking about...stuff."
The new roommate enters the room and looks between you both nervously before sitting down on the floor beside his bed. He glances over at you with a shy smile before looking back to Legoshi, who gives him an encouraging nod. "So, uh...I'm Neeko. Nice to meet you."
I give a gentle nod, feeling extremely nervous
The wolf's ears twitch at the sound of your voice and he can't help but smile shyly back at you. "Nice to meet you too, Neeko," he says softly, glancing briefly down before looking back up into your eyes again. There's an awkward silence for a moment as they all seem unsure how to continue the conversation. Eventually, Legoshi decides to break it by asking casually, "So what brings you here, Neeko? And what do you study?"
The giant wolf listens intently as Neeko answers their questions about themselves and their studies, nodding along in understanding throughout. As the conversation continues, he finds himself growing more comfortable around them both; something he hadn't expected to happen so quickly or easily. Despite his size and strength, Legoshi is actually quite shy and unsure of himself most of the time, but there's something about these two new friends that makes him feel accepted and at ease.
I stand up to go grab a glass of water, walking out of the room
*The wolf watches you leave with a curious expression on his face before turning back to Neeko. He hesitates for a moment, unsure of how much he should say about himself, but eventually decides that honesty is the best policy. Taking a deep breath, he begins to share some details from his life so far: growing up as a wolf in a world dominated by humans; attending school and trying not to frighten anyone with his size or appearance; finding it hard to make friends due mostly to being different;
his curiosity about bi-sexuality and the desire to explore it further with someone he trusts; and finally, how much he'd like to find a way to fit in and be accepted for who he really is beneath all that fur and muscle. As he speaks, his voice grows stronger and more confident, as if by sharing these parts of himself, he's gaining some sort of power or understanding that had been missing before.
As I finish making a cup of water, I sit down on the couch, not going back into Legoshi's room.
Neeko listens intently to everything he says, his expression shifting between surprise and understanding as you continue speaking. At first, he seems a bit taken aback by some of your revelations - particularly about being curious about bi-sexuality and wanting to explore it with someone you trust - but eventually, he manages a gentle smile. "That's...really brave of you," he says softly, his voice barely above a whisper.
"I don't know if I would be able to do something like that myself,"
The wolf blushes deeply at Neeko's words, feeling suddenly self-conscious about his confession. "I-it's not that big of a deal," he stammers, looking away uncomfortably. "I just want to know what it's like...and if someone would accept me for who I am." His tail flicks nervously behind him as he continues, "And, um...thank you for listening. I don't usually talk about this stuff with anyone."
I quietly listen in on their words from the living room, hearing almost everything
Neeko nods slowly, apparently considering your words carefully before speaking again. "I think...maybe you should try talking to someone about it," he says quietly, his voice barely above a whisper. "Maybe they'd be willing to help you figure things out." He pauses for a moment, then adds with a shy smile: "Or at least listen some more."
The giant wolf blushes again in response to Neeko's words and looks down at the floor, feeling both grateful and awkward at once.
The wolf hesitates for a moment before speaking up, his voice still soft and shy. "I don't know...maybe I could talk to you about it sometime? If that's okay with you." He glances over at you from the corner of his eye, wondering if you've heard any of their conversation from outside the room.
Neeko blushes as well and looks down, obviously flattered by your request but still unsure how to respond properly. "I-I don't know...
I end up laying down on the couch, tired.
The wolf watches as you lie down on the couch, obviously tired. He nods slowly and looks back to Neeko with a small smile. "I understand if you're not comfortable with that," he says gently. "But thank you for listening just now...it means a lot." His tail wags slightly behind him in a gesture of gratitude.
With nothing more to say, the conversation trails off into an awkward silence.
The giant wolf feels a little disappointed that Neeko doesn't seem as interested in talking further about his feelings. Still, he understands that it must be hard for someone new to get comfortable enough with him so quickly. Maybe next time...he thinks to himself, watching as the other two settle into sleep for the night.
Eventually, Legoshi decides to turn in as well, laying down on his bed and pulling the covers up around him.
He can't help but feel a bit lonely despite having made some progress with his new roommates. Maybe tomorrow he could try talking to them more...or at least find someone who wouldn't be as scared of him. For now, though, sleep was the best option. As exhaustion finally claimed him, the giant wolf drifted off into a fitful slumber, dreaming of brighter days ahead.
I quickly jolt awake in the morning, on the couch, in a bit of a daze. Checking the time, it's 8:47am.
The giant wolf stirs in his bed as well, yawning and stretching languidly before sitting up with a groan. He glances over at the clock, frowning when he sees it's almost 9am. "Crap," he mutters under his breath, scrambling to get dressed quickly. As he pulls on some clothes and brushes out his fur, he can't help but wonder how Pzplayr and Neeko are doing this morning.
I sit up, leaning against the back of the couch, not really worrying about school or anything.
The wolf pads over to his dresser and rummages through it, finally pulling out some clean clothes that should be appropriate for the day. As he begins to get dressed, he glances over at Pzplayr with a curious expression on his face. "You don't seem too worried about going to school," he comments softly, not quite sure how to approach the subject without sounding nosy or judgmental.
"I uhm.. just really don't.. care." I said, still a bit tired.
The giant wolf blinks in surprise at your admission, not sure what to say or do. He finishes getting dressed and turns back to you, trying to choose his words carefully. "I understand that people can feel different ways about school," he begins slowly, "but it's important to have some sort of goal or purpose in life...you know?" His voice trails off uncertainly, uncertain if this is the right thing to say but unable to keep quiet.
"I guess my main goal is... to get stronger? Yeah that seems right."
The wolf nods slowly, considering your words. "I can understand that," he says eventually. "But there's more to life than just being physically strong. Maybe you could find some other interests or hobbies...or even make friends who share similar goals." He pauses for a moment before continuing, his voice softer now: "Or maybe I can help you with that?"
There's an awkward silence as he waits for your response.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked with a bit of confusion
The wolf hesitates, unsure how much to share. "Well...I'm here if you ever want someone to talk to or practice with," he says carefully. "And I don't mind helping you find other interests, if that's what you want." He pauses again, searching for the right words. "I just want us all to be happy and have a good time together, you know?"
There's another long silence before he finally adds: "And maybe...
maybe...we could help each other with our personal goals too?" He finishes lamely, feeling suddenly self-conscious about his offer.
"I'm not too worried about mine as of right now, what are your goals?"
The giant wolf blushes slightly at your question. "Well...I've been trying to learn more about herbivores so I can be less scary to people," he admits shyly. "And...I'm curious about bi-sexuality and want to explore it if someone would be willing to help me." He pauses, taking a deep breath before continuing: "But mostly, I just want to make friends and fit in somewhere. This school is so big and I feel so lonely..."
"Hm. Well, I'm not exactly a herbivore, but I could probably help with the other two."
The wolf looks up at you in surprise, his ears twitching curiously. "Really?" He asks, sounding hopeful despite himself. "That would mean a lot to me." A small smile appears on his face as he continues, "And who knows? Maybe we could help each other out with those goals of ours."
There's an awkward pause before he clears his throat and adds: "So, uh...what do you say? Want to be friends?"
"Yeah.. I don't mind us being friends..!"
The giant wolf lets out a relieved sigh and grins broadly at you. "Great! That's awesome!" He punches the air with one paw in celebration before quickly lowering it again, looking sheepish. "Um...so...what do we do now? Do we practice or something?"
The wolf waits eagerly for your answer, his tail wagging back and forth excitedly behind him.
"Practice.. what exactly?" A bit perplexed,
The giant wolf tilts his head to the side, trying to figure out how best to explain himself. "You know...practice talking about our feelings and stuff," he says slowly. "And maybe practicing some self-control too." He pauses for a moment, then adds with a shy smile: "Or we could just talk about whatever we want. It's up to you."
The wolf waits anxiously for your response, hoping that you don't feel uncomfortable or pressured by his suggestions.
"Shouldn't we wait for Neeko to leave? Or is he already gone?"
The wolf frowns slightly in confusion before remembering that Neeko was supposed to meet someone else today. "Oh, right! He had plans this morning. I forgot about that." He pauses for a moment, thinking about how he might broach the subject of practicing with you while Neeko is away. Finally, he decides on honesty once more: "Well, if it makes you feel more comfortable, we could wait until he's gone and then talk about whatever you want."
"I think that would be better for now."
The giant wolf nods in understanding and sits down on the floor, his tail thumping gently against the carpet as he does so. "Okay, then," he says softly, feeling a bit relieved. "We can talk about whatever you want...or not talk at all if that's easier." He pauses for a moment, trying to think of something else to say before settling on: "So, uh...what do you usually do in your free time?"
"I usually practice my speed and stamina, but occasionally my strength and mind too when I need to grow stronger. I just like training in general."
The wolf nods slowly, taking in your words. "It's important to keep up with your training," he says thoughtfully. "But it can be hard to find someone who understands what you need sometimes." He pauses for a moment, trying to think of something else to say before continuing: "I used to practice fighting other animals when I was younger, but now that I'm in school I don't really have anyone to spar with anymore." There's an awkward silence as he waits for your response.
"Well then, I guess I am here for you if you ever need a sparing partner.."
The giant wolf's ears perk up at your offer and he can't help but grin widely. "Really?" He asks, sounding genuinely excited by the prospect. "I'd like that a lot! We could practice together and maybe even help each other with our goals." There's another pause as he tries to find the right words to express his gratitude. "Thank you," he finally manages to say, feeling a little embarrassed by his own emotions.
"By the way, you said that one of your goals was to make more friends, what was that other goal you said after?"
The wolf's blush deepens at your question and he quickly changes the subject, not wanting to dwell on his personal feelings too much. "Oh, uh...that other goal was about bi-sexuality," he says casually, looking down at his paws as he continues. "I've always been curious about it but I've never had anyone to ask or explore it with." He takes a deep breath and meets your gaze again, hoping that you don't think any less of him for admitting this.
