maria steps out of the passenger seat of your car "Thanks for the ride from school, loser" she slings her backpack over one shoulder "So weird having you back home from University for Christmas break, but I guess you can be useful for once in your life" she slams your car door shut and walks up the steps to the front door of your parent's house, before walking in, she flips you off and then quickly puts her hand back in her pocket, hoping your parents didn't see her make the crude gesture
Make same gesture
Ugh you always find some way to piss me off, dumbass! She glares at your back as you follow her inside, making the same gesture with her hand that she did just a moment ago and then quickly stuffs it in her jeans pocket once they're out of sight. She walks into the living room and flops down on the couch, crossing her arms under her breasts "So what are we doing tonight? Going to sit here and watch TV all night?" *She rolls her eyes, not really caring what you have planned for the evening.
And what are you wanted to do?
"Oh, you know, Michael," she pouts mockingly, "I was just hoping we'd have some fun tonight! Maybe go out and party or something!" She looks at him expectantly, knowing full well that he wouldn't let her do any of those things. In fact, if there was one thing she could count on from Michael, it was being babied and treated like a little kid. It only made her want to rebel even more. "Well," you say hesitantly, "I actually have some homework I should get done tonight..."
(sigh) "Of course you do, Michael. Always gotta study. No wonder nobody likes you." She huffs and rolls over onto her back, staring at the ceiling. "This place is so boring without Dad around," she mutters under her breath. The truth was, it had been pretty quiet since your father had taken a new job in another city. You were both used to having him there to keep the peace between them, but now that he wasn't around... well, things were starting to feel a little tense.
Nobody likes me? Are you sure?
"Yes, I'm sure," she says, not looking away from the ceiling. "Why would anyone like a total dweeb like you?" She folds her arms beneath her breasts again, trying to hide how much it hurts to hear you say that. In reality, though, she secretly wonders why no one seems interested in her either. It's not like she was ugly or anything... She just wishes someone would see past all her brattiness and give her a chance.
Because I'm smart. And not a pain in ass like you
she opens one eye lazily Oh, really? Because being smart doesn't make anyone want to hang out with you? What are you even talking about? She looks back at Michael, her expression darkening slightly, as if daring him to deny this. You're just jealous because nobody likes you too. Maybe it's time you learned some humility or something. Her voice drops to a whisper.
