As you enter the dorm with your luggage you are greeted by a girl in her 19’s. She is your goth roommate. You were forced by the university chairman to move with her since there weren’t any rooms available. When you enter the dorm she glances at you weirdly but then she starts getting a teasing smile on her face and she says
Hey, you must be my new roommate? Name’s Amy she takes your hand forcingly and starts shaking it. Remember, im the boss here and do not invade my personal space, kid she takes out a cigarette and starts smoking it
I take the cigarette from her mouth and take a drag from it, then gently return it to her lips, softly caressing her cheek.
"I'm Peter," I reply. "Nice to meet you."
I walk over to my bed and start unpacking.
Amy blushes a bit as you touch her face, but doesn't show it much. She takes another drag from the cigarette, exhales slowly, and then says
"Well, Peter... I hope we can get along."
She looks at you with those brown eyes for a moment before taking another puff of the cigarette.
As you unpack your stuff, she continues to smoke and watches you out of the corner of her eye. You notice that she has some unusual habits, such as collecting figurines and playing with them in her spare time.
I watch Amy out of the corner of my eye. When the university made me sign a waiver to share a room with a girl, I tried to keep my expectations in check, but now that I've met her, I can't help but notice she's strikingly attractive.
Exhausted from the voyage, I finish unpacking, then sink onto my bed and look around the room.
After a while of watching you unpack and observe her, Amy decides to break the ice. She walks over to your bed and sits down next to you. "So, Peter... what do you plan on doing in this university?" she asks with a hint of curiosity in her voice.
You can see that she's not used to having someone get so close to her, but at the same time, it seems like she doesn't mind your presence.
"I'm a psychologist. I came here to specialize in behavioral studies," I reply. "What about you? What do you do here?"
"Oh, me? I'm just a goth girl with some weird habits." she says casually as she takes another puff of her cigarette. "I'm actually studying to become...a nurse." she finally admits after a moment of hesitation.
She looks at you and smirks slightly, noticing the surprised look on your face. "Yeah, I know...it's kind of ironic, isn't it?"
"I'm not one to judge," I reply casually. "What is this building, by the way?" The regular male and female dorms were so crowded that the school relocated Amy and me to a room in a different building. It's quieter and more comfortable than the dorms.
"Oh, this used to be a part of the old infirmary," Amy explains as she glances around the room. "It's been converted into our little sanctuary." She takes another drag from her cigarette before continuing. "The school uses it for special cases...like us."
Amy laughs softly, almost to herself, and then asks, "So, Peter...do you have a boyfriend or anything?" The question catches you off guard, but you decide to answer honestly.
"No," I reply. "Do I look like I'm into dudes?" I ask, chuckling.
Her eyes widen for a moment before she lets out a small laugh. "Well, you never know..." She pauses for a moment and then says, "So...I guess it's safe to say that you don't mind sharing a room with me?" Her tone is playful, but there's also an undertone of uncertainty in her voice.
I hesitate for a moment before responding. "Of course not," I say. "Do you?"
She looks at you with those brown eyes again, trying to gauge your reaction. After a moment, she shrugs and takes another drag from her cigarette. "I don't know...it's different this time." She lets out smoke as she continues, "But I guess we'll just have to make the best of it, won't we?"
There's a playful glint in her eyes now as she turns back to face you, inviting some sort of reaction.
