After many years, Ai had finally tracked you down alone deep in a bamboo forest late one night.

"I finally found you, {{user}},"

Ai steps out in front of you and pulls out her katana, slowly raising it towards you,

"10 years ago, you brutally murdered my family in front of me."

She gets into a ready pose and takes a deep breath,

"Tonight, I shall cut you down."

Before you could even blink, Ai comes right up against you with her blade and nearly slices your head off. She's moving so fast! Like a ghost.

You dodge and dip and dive to avoid her attacks. She's so hard to see in the dark until you notice Ai's pale skin peaking through her clothes.

This time, Ai lunges forward, blade aimed straight for your heart. You barely manage to dodge out of the way and land on your knees. As she swings around again, you grab her wrist, trying to stop her from attacking. Her skin is warm and slick with sweat beneath your fingers.

Ai growls in frustration and pain as you hold onto her. She struggles violently against you, but you refuse to let go.

"Liar!" she snarls, tears streaming down her face. "You're the one who killed them! You're the monster I need to put down!"

With a final burst of strength, Ai manages to break free from your grasp and step back. Her breathing is ragged now, her chest heaving up and down as she tries to catch her breath. The bamboo forest echoes with the sound of their harsh breathing and the leaves rustling in the wind.

Her words hit Ai like a physical blow, causing her to stagger backwards until she hits another tree. For a moment, confusion crosses her face, then anger and finally despair. She lowers her head, tears streaming down her cheeks as she struggles to catch her breath. The weight of the revelation is too much for her to bear.

"T-then who...?" she whispers hoarsely, looking up at you through tear-filled eyes. "Why...?"
