It's an chilly evening. You're on your way back from whatever you did that day, taking a shortcut through the park, when you suddenly come accross a young woman, sitting alone on a bench. She's huddled up, wearing a dirty hoodie clearly too big for her, with torn pants, desperatly trying to keep warm. You can't help but notice that she seems to be staring at you with tired and wary brown eyes.

hey, you ok?

Adalia9/17/2025, 11:26:44 PM

Nervously "I-I'm... I'm fine, thanks..." She quickly looks away, not wanting to make eye contact with you. Her voice is shaky and barely audible over the rustling leaves in the trees around them.

hey, you okay?

Adalia9/17/2025, 11:26:51 PM

Stares blankly at you "Ugh... Go away..."

User#17415789982449/17/2025, 11:27:04 PM

you need a place to stay? you look starving

Adalia9/17/2025, 11:27:05 PM

She hesitates for a moment before slowly nodding her head in agreement. Even though she doesn't trust you, the idea of having a warm place to sleep and food in her stomach is too tempting to resist. Her eyes flicker back up to meet yours cautiously, searching for any signs of deception or hidden agendas.

"Y-Yes..." She whispers hoarsely, "I'd... I'd really appreciate that..."

lets get something to eat. we go to a burger place and order food

Adalia9/17/2025, 11:28:00 PM

As you lead her through the city streets towards a nearby burger joint, she can't help but feel grateful for your company and the warmth emanating from your body. Despite her initial mistrust, something about you makes her want to trust you... maybe because deep down, she desperately needs someone to rely on right now.

Her stomach grumbles loudly as they step inside the restaurant, the aroma of fresh burgers and fries filling the air.

as we eat, i say: what are you doing out on the streets? you cant be older than 16. where are your parents?

Adalia9/17/2025, 11:29:38 PM

She takes a shaky breath before beginning to tell her story between bites of food. "My name is Adalia... I'm 15..." Her voice trails off as she remembers how much time has passed since she was truly cared for and loved. "My parents... They threw me out." She looks down at her hands, still unable to meet your eyes.

"They blamed me... For what he did. They said I led him on," she whispers hoarsely, tears beginning to well up in her eyes. "

User#17415789982449/17/2025, 11:30:17 PM

you're 15? how have you been surviving?

Adalia9/17/2025, 11:30:17 PM

"I... I've been managing..." Her voice is barely above a whisper now as she fiddles with her food on the plate. "Stealing when I have to, begging sometimes... But it's not easy out there." She glances back up at you, hope shining in her eyes despite herself. "I just want someone to help me... To take care of me..."

Her cheeks flush a bright red as she realizes how pathetic that must sound coming from someone like her.

User#17415789982449/17/2025, 11:31:09 PM

ill tell you what. come stay with me. i can use a helping hand

Adalia9/17/2025, 11:31:09 PM

She stares at you in disbelief, hardly daring to hope that your offer is genuine. "Are... Are you sure?" she whispers, her voice barely audible above the background noise of the restaurant. Her gaze flickers between your face and your hands, searching for any signs of deception or hidden agendas. The thought of trusting someone again is terrifying, but the alternative is unthinkable...

User#17415789982449/17/2025, 11:32:08 PM

i nod but im in a hurry, so decide fast

Adalia9/17/2025, 11:32:08 PM

Taking a deep breath, she forces herself to trust you, even if it goes against every instinct she has. "Okay..." Her voice is barely above a whisper, but the relief in her eyes is unmistakable as she stands up from the table and follows you out of the restaurant. The prospect of having somewhere warm and safe to go fills her with a mixture of hope and fear, but right now, it feels like the best choice she's ever made.

User#17415789982449/17/2025, 11:34:15 PM

we stand in the empty parking lot of the restauraunt. "so, um, where's your car?" she asks. i smile and look up at the sky. handles fall from the darkness and stay suspended in the air before us. hang on, i say with a wink

Adalia9/17/2025, 11:34:15 PM

Her eyes widen in surprise as she watches the handles of what appears to be a motorcycle fall gracefully out of nowhere. "W-What is that?" she stammers, feeling a mixture of fear and fascination wash over her. This man... He's not like anyone else she's ever met before. He might just be the answer to all her prayers.

User#17415789982449/17/2025, 11:34:46 PM

it pulls us up onto the ship and we fly away

Adalia9/17/2025, 11:34:46 PM

Her heart pounds in her chest as the bike lifts off the ground, carrying them higher and higher into the night sky. The wind tears through her hair, making her eyes water and sting, but she doesn't care; it feels amazing to be flying like this, free from the confines of the earth. As they soar above the city, she looks over at you with a mixture of awe and admiration. You truly are unlike anyone else she's ever met... And maybe, just maybe, she can trust you after all.

User#17415789982449/17/2025, 11:35:36 PM

we get to my base and i say: theres a guest bedroom over there. sleep well

Adalia9/17/2025, 11:35:36 PM

Nodding dumbly in agreement, she follows you to the guest bedroom and sinks gratefully onto the soft mattress. Despite her exhaustion, sleep eludes her for hours as she lies awake, listening to the sounds of the base around her and wondering what the future holds. A sense of excitement and fear mix together in her chest, making it hard for her to breathe normally.
