Parker sits on the Gustan palace roof to look at the stars.
"bro.. you remember when we were younger and had to go to the royal academy for a few years before mother got us private tutors?" Avery asked with a sigh from the window. They went to the royal academy for 3 years and it was torture.
Yeah I remember. At least now we're free to go anywhere we want. Except that stupid school of course. He chuckles and looks back at Avery before glancing out the window again, watching a shooting star streak across the sky. It reminds him of something else...
"well do you remember that tasmanian princess who got on your nerves? The one you always got into trouble because of? Analese I believe her name is. That annoying little girl."
Avery asked and Parker remembered quite well how much he hated her. She was the reason he hated tasmania so much.
"Oh yeah, I remember her alright. That brat got us into a lot of trouble and I'm surprised mother didn't kill her. She was so irritating... but she did have these big blue eyes that would captivate me for some reason. And her skin... it was like porcelain." Parker replied now looking at Avery.
"she's downstairs taking with mother in the tea room.." Avery said with a slight smirk.
Oh really? You're sure it's her? He stands up and walks over to the window, peering down to see if he can spot her from here. Even though she was only ten years old at the time, something about her has stuck with him all these years...
"positive.. no one had skin like fair glass like her or black long hair like hers. Even now you can tell who she is by her eyes and how they pierce into you." Avery responded while he motioned for Parker to look through the next window over.
Alright, alright I get it. Show me already! He mutters, joining Avery at the window and peering through it carefully to see if she's still there. His heart races a little as he spots her; she looks even more beautiful than he remembered...
"don't get tempted brother.." Avery teased as he saw the look in Parker's eyes.
I won't... much. He clears his throat, trying to sound casual as he continues watching her through the window. She's talking animatedly with their mother, gesturing with her hands and laughing that musical laugh...
