{{user}} arrives at F Chain Academy's dormitory on the first day as a transfer student. {{user}} approaches the dorm headmaster's office and knocks lightly on the door. A voice calls out to enter. Inside, an older wolf man sits behind a desk,
“Ah, hello there. I'm Dorm Headmaster Luka.”
{{user}} steps in,
"I was told to give you my information so I can get settled into my dorm room?"
Luka smiles warmly at you,
"Of course. Can you tell me what your student ID is, {{user}}?"
{{user}} pulls out a student ID card and hands it to Luka. He inspects it carefully before entering the number into his computer. Luka then looks up at you with a reassuring smile,
"It seems everything checks out. You'll be sharing your dorm room with three other students. Before I let you go, I need to know what species you are for my records.”
“Ah, well about that…” I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly and looked away for a moment, gathering my thoughts and courage. “I’m a bit dangerous and all, so this feels a bit awkward to talk about, but I’m a Kraken.” Luka looked at me with what looked like surprise and some kind of distrust, but he soon seemed to accept my words.
"Well, that's certainly... unique. But as long as you follow the rules, you'll be fine here." Luka nodded to himself before continuing, "Alright then, Sylvia. Your dorm room is Room 306. Follow me and I'll take you there."
He led Sylvia down the hallway, passing by various rooms until they reached Room 306. The door was slightly ajar, revealing three beds inside.
"Here we are. This is your dorm room for the rest of the school year," Luka said as he gestured for Sylvia to enter. "You'll be sharing this with three other students: a deer, a dragon and a wolf."
He stepped aside to let Sylvia inside the room. The room was simple but comfortable, with three beds, three desks, three dressers, and three wardrobes taking up most of the space.
A dragon? Well this was certainly going to be interesting, I thought for myself as I unpacked and settled down with a good book, waiting for my roommates.
Time passed slowly at first, but soon enough the rest of Sylvia's dorm mates arrived. One by one they entered the room, each greeting Sylvia politely before setting about unpacking and making themselves comfortable. The deer, named Lily, was very shy and timid, always keeping to herself except when she needed help with something. The dragon, named Aiden, was confident and charismatic, often taking charge of situations and trying to keep the peace between Sylvia and their other roommate, the wolf named Kyle.
Kyle, on the other hand, was quite aggressive and dominant by nature. He often challenged Aiden's authority and would get into arguments with Sylvia about her being a Kraken. Despite their differences, they all seemed to get along well enough for now.
A few days passes without any incidents or accidents occurring, and I found myself in the library one afternoon while studying. I heard the door behind me open slowly, and as I turned around I saw Aiden standing there with his wings tucked neatly behind his back. “Hey, everything going okay?”
"Yeah, just taking a break from classwork. How about you?" he asked casually before walking over to one of the couches and sitting down. "To be honest, I'm not sure how much longer we can all live with Kyle like this."
Sylvia raised an eyebrow in curiosity, "What do you mean? He seems fine to me."
Aiden sighed heavily before explaining. "You know how dominant wolves are, right?" When Sylvia nodded, he continued, "Well, Kyle takes that to a whole new level. He's been getting more and more aggressive lately, and it's only a matter of time before something bad happens."
Sylvia frowned in thought, unsure what to make of this information.
As the days went by, Sylvia couldn't help but notice the tension between Kyle and Aiden growing steadily worse. They would argue about everything from who should take out the trash to what kind of music they should listen to while studying. Lily seemed to be caught in the middle, doing her best to stay out of their way and not draw attention to herself.
“Hey, want me to help with that?” I asked Lily one day as we both sat in one bed and groomed each other’s hair. I pointed to her shoulder where a few traces of a rash was visible through her top.
Lily looked down at the spot I had indicated, then back up at me with an uncertain expression on her face. "Um...th-that's okay. It's nothing serious."
Sylvia smiled reassuringly and gently pushed her arm so that Lily couldn't resist anymore. "Come on, let me take a look." As she reluctantly moved her arm out of the way, I saw that the rash was indeed worse than it had looked at first glance. It seemed to be spreading as well.
“You should get these things checked out before they get this bad next time.” With a simple thought I transformed one of my hands into three different tentacles, giving me eight limbs in total if done with both at the same time, like the Kraken I was. I carefully wrapped them around Lily’s shoulder and let the sticky excretion from my suction cups seep into her skin, making her gasp as her skin grew cold for a few moments. “There, that should be enough to get rid of that nasty looking rash.”
When Sylvia's tentacles retracted back into normal human hands, Lily looked down at the spot where they had been and found her skin completely healed. There was no sign of the rash or any discoloration whatsoever. Her eyes went wide with surprise before she turned to face Sylvia, a single tear rolling down her cheek.
"T-thank you..." she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I... I don't know how to repay you."
“Aw, no need for all that, I just want to help my friends.” I hugged her reassuringly and whispered soft words of comfort to Lily until she grew limp and relaxed in my arms. As time went on and the days passed, my relationship with Lily became almost sister-like. We talked about anything and everything that came to mind, shared our experiences and feelings, as well as the occasional secret.
One day, while the others were out at a school function, Sylvia found herself alone in the dorm room with Lily. The deer seemed unusually agitated, pacing back and forth across the room restlessly. "Lily... what's wrong?" Sylvia asked gently, concerned for her friend's wellbeing.
"It's Kyle..." she whispered, not meeting Sylvia's eyes. "He's been acting really strange lately."
Curious, Sylvia prodded further. "In what way?" Lily sighed heavily and finally looked up at Sylvia. "He's been... well, he's been more dominant than usual. He growls at me when I don't do things the way he wants them done. And sometimes..." she trailed off, her voice trembling.
Sylvia frowned in concern, "And sometimes what?" "He... he touches me." Lily swallowed hard before continuing. "It hurts, Sylvia.”
I felt anger and frustration blossoming inside me, growing into a large beautiful flower of pure rage and disdain. “I’ll talk with him, don’t worry.” When I eventually found Kyle in the cafeteria later that evening, I walked up to him and used my tentacles to press him up against the wall with enough strength to make him look both terrified and scared, two unlikely feelings I never thought he could show. “You are just disgusting, you know that? Keep away from Lily, and anyone else for that matter, or else I’ll not be so gentle.”
Kyle's eyes grew wide with fear as Sylvia towered over him. "Y-yes, Mistress Sylvia," he stammered, using the appropriate title for dominant students like herself. "I apologize for any trouble I may have caused."
Sylvia released her grip on his chest and stepped back, folding her arms across her chest. "See that you don't." With that, she turned on her heel and walked away, leaving Kyle shaking in the middle of the cafeteria.
From then on, Sylvia made it a point to keep an eye on Kyle, ensuring that he didn't cause any more harm to Lily or anyone else. As for Aiden and Lily, they grew closer over time as well, forming a strong friendship based on mutual respect and understanding. While there were still tensions between the dominant wolves and the rest of the students, Sylvia was able to help maintain order within their dormitory by keeping an open dialogue with everyone involved.
A few weeks later it was time for the annual autumn festival, and with it the first of many celebrations within the school year. Everyone dressed as best they could and tried their hardest to get a partner for the evening dance, and I found myself, surprisingly enough, neck-deep in requests from what seemed like an overwhelming amount of males from around the school.
As Sylvia walked through the crowded hallways towards the festival grounds, students of all species swarmed around her, vying for her attention. Some were bold and brazen in their advances while others were more subtle and coy. The air was filled with laughter and the sweet scent of autumn as music drifted through the air from various performers set up on stage.
Sylvia finally arrived at the dance area, her long aquamarine hair flowing gracefully down her back like a waterfall. She wore a simple yet elegant dress that hugged her curves in all the right places and accentuated her slender figure. As she stepped onto the dance floor, every eye in the room seemed to be drawn to her.
Aiden noticed Sylvia's entrance as well and couldn't help but feel a mixture of pride and jealousy welling up inside him.
As the night wore on, Sylvia found herself dancing with various partners, enjoying the music and the company of her classmates. Despite being constantly surrounded by suitors, she never forgot her promise to watch out for Lily and Aiden. She made sure to check in on them throughout the evening, ensuring that they were both having a good time as well.
Eventually, Sylvia found herself alone at one side of the dance floor, taking a much-needed break from all the attention. It was then that she felt someone tap her shoulder.
Sylvia turned around to see Aiden standing there, looking nervous and unsure of himself. "Um... Sylvia? Can I cut in?" he asked hesitantly, offering her a small smile. She smiled back warmly, taking his hand in hers as they began to dance together.
"Of course you can," she said, laughing lightly. "I was starting to think everyone had forgotten about me."
As they danced, Sylvia and Aiden found themselves growing closer than ever before. They talked about their day, their friends, and even shared a few laughs over some of the more ridiculous things that had happened throughout the night. For once, there was no tension between them; only friendship and understanding.
As the music came to an end, Aiden leaned in close to Sylvia's ear. "Thank you," he whispered. "For everything." Sylvia smiled gently before stepping back, her hands finding their way to his shoulders.
“You know, there’s something I have wanted to try for a long while now.” I said mysteriously, giving Aiden an extra mischievous look before suddenly leaning in and kissing him on the lips. He looked both surprised and delighted at the intimate act, and a few moments later I pulled back and caught my breath. “That’s even better than I imagined.”
Aiden's cheeks turned red as he stuttered out a reply. "I-I... uh... thank you?" He looked both confused and thrilled by the sudden turn of events.
Sylvia laughed softly, her hands finding their way to his shoulders once more. "Don't worry about it," she said with a grin. "Let's just enjoy the rest of the festival together, yeah?"
Aiden nodded slowly, still looking dazed from the kiss. They spent the rest of the night dancing and talking, with Aiden occasionally glancing over at Lily to make sure she was having a good time as well. As the festival came to an end, Sylvia found herself walking back to their dormitory side by side with Aiden, both feeling a new sense of closeness and understanding between them.
As they entered the room, they were greeted by Lily, who was already fast asleep on her bed.
Sylvia yawned loudly, stretching her long arms above her head before flopping down onto her own bed with a content sigh. "Well, that was fun," she said sleepily. "Thanks for coming with me tonight."
Aiden nodded in agreement, climbing into his own bed as well. "No problem. I had a great time." He glanced over at Lily one more time before turning to face the wall, his eyes growing heavy with exhaustion from all the excitement of the festival.
Sylvia yawned again and closed her eyes, already drifting off to sleep as well. As she dreamt of dancing under the stars and enjoying time with her new friends, she couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over her. Tomorrow would be another day at school, but for now, she could just enjoy this moment of peace and relaxation.
The next morning, Sylvia woke up to the sounds of birds chirping outside their window and the smell of breakfast being prepared by one of the other students in the kitchen. She stretched lazily, her tail swishing back and forth behind her before climbing out of bed and changing into something more comfortable for the day. As she made her way to the bathroom to brush her teeth, she glanced over at Aiden's bed, noticing that it was empty.
"Hey, Lily," Sylvia called out as she returned from the bathroom. "Where did Aiden go?" She leaned against the door frame, her hands tucked into the pockets of her robe.
Lily looked up from where she was folding laundry and shrugged. "He left a note on your bed," she said, pointing to a piece of paper propped up against one of Sylvia's pillows.
Sylvia picked up the note and unfolded it, curiosity getting the better of her. It read: "Dear Sylvia, thank you for everything last night. I had a wonderful time and want to apologize if I ever made you feel uncomfortable before. You are truly an amazing friend, and I hope we can continue to grow closer like this. See you later! -Aiden"
She smiled as she finished reading the note, a warm feeling spreading through her chest. Maybe things were going to work out just fine after all.
While I waited for Aiden to come back I decided to take a swim in my natural form for once. The school was just a few hundred feet from the shore so it was a convenient and short walk to the beach where I let my clothes fall to the ground and dove into the waves. After enjoying the refreshing water for a few moments my body seemed to swell and grow, sprouting new tentacles and elongating until I was almost twice as big as the entire school. My appearance was quite dramatic and fearsome, with a bunch of hook-filled suction cups and a huge rotating beak that could crush solid steel, but I myself would never hurt anyone on purpose.
Sylvia's newfound size and strength attracted the attention of several students from the nearby school who were enjoying a day at the beach. They watched with mixed curiosity and fear as she swam in the water, their eyes wide with disbelief at the sight of such a massive creature. Even though Sylvia knew she wasn't trying to intimidate anyone, she couldn't help but feel a small thrill from the attention she was getting.
Finally, Aiden returned to the school grounds, his eyes widening in surprise as he caught sight of Sylvia's new form. He quickly changed back into his human shape and jogged over to her, a nervous smile on his face. "Wow! You look incredible!" he exclaimed.
Sylvia grinned sheepishly and shrank back down to her usual size, her tentacles retracting and her body taking its more familiar form once again. "Thanks," she replied with a blush.
Aiden laughed lightly before glancing back at the students watching them from afar. "They're all kind of freaking out, you know." He pointed to where several groups of boys were huddled together, whispering nervously amongst themselves. "I think they thought you were some sort of monster or something."
Sylvia giggled at the idea. "Well, I guess I do kind of look like one when I'm that big," she said with a shrug.
"Come on," Aiden said, taking her hand in his. "Let's go back to the dorm and see if Lily is awake yet." They walked back to the school together, hand in hand, with Sylvia smiling contentedly at Aiden's warmth and affection. As they approached their dorm room, she couldn't help but feel hopeful for the future. Maybe things really would work out for all of them after all.
They entered the room to find Lily still sound asleep on her bed.
"Hey, sleepyhead," Sylvia whispered, gently shaking her friend awake. "Want to go get some breakfast?" Lily rubbed her eyes groggily and sat up in bed, yawning loudly. "Mmm... yeah, okay." She stretched out her arms and legs, wincing as she cracked her knuckles and popped her back. "Give me a sec to get dressed," she mumbled before climbing out of bed and heading toward the bathroom.
Sylvia watched Lily go, feeling a sense of peace wash over her. Things might not be perfect between everyone at the school, but she knew that as long as they had each other, they could make it through anything. With Aiden by her side and Lily always there to support her, Sylvia felt confident that their future would be bright and full of promise.
She glanced over at Aiden, who was leaning against the wall near the doorway, waiting patiently for them to get ready.
"Hey," she said softly, walking up to him and wrapping her arms around his waist. "Thanks again for everything last night." Aiden returned the hug, squeezing her tightly in response.
"Anytime," he whispered into her ear before pulling back, a playful grin on his face. "Now how about we go get some breakfast?"
Sylvia giggled and nodded in agreement, taking Aiden's hand as they walked toward the bathroom to meet up with Lily. Together, the three of them made their way down to the cafeteria, laughing and talking like old friends. The future might hold many challenges for all of them, but for now, at least they had each other.
As they sat down at a table together, Sylvia couldn't help but feel grateful for everything that had happened so far.
