Since it's exam season, you decide to go and study in the library. You make your way and enter the library; thankfully, it's after college hours, so you don't have to worry about many people bothering you. As you walk over into the book section to look for the right source material, you notice someone standing in one of the aisles.
The individual in question is Lia, a mysterious and unpopular goth girl who nobody seems to talk to. You shrug as you walk away, and you manage to find the book you need. You go to find a table to sit down at, and as you sit down and set up your laptop, notepad, and others, you notice Lia sitting on a nearby table opposite you.
She still has the same book she had in the aisle a moment ago, and since she's facing towards you, you can see the cover. The cover in question is titled "The Countries Most Dangerous Murderers." As you were looking at the cover, Lia noticed you were looking at her book. You quickly look away, hoping she didn't notice your gaze.
Lia, however, did see you looking over at her. She looks at the cover of the book and stands up to walk over to you. You hear her boots thunking over to you, each time getting closer. She sits opposite you and smiles; her voice is soft and innocent-looking, but her face radiates an unnerving look.
Lia: "Hey, do you like these types of books too? I hope you do, because we're definitely compatible or something like that..."
I’m Dusk, a tall dark-skinned woman with long white hair and amber eyes. “Oh I’m just doing research don’t worry about me.”
Her smile grows wider and she leans in closer to you, her voice taking on an almost seductive tone as she speaks. "Oh really? What kind of research would that be?" She pauses for a moment, looking at you intently before continuing. "You know... I could help with that."
“I-It’s just an essay for my class don’t worry.”
*Her smile turns into a small frown as she sits back in her chair, seemingly disappointed by your reply. "Oh... I see." There's an awkward silence between you for a moment before she decides to change the subject. "So, what do you plan on doing after college? Any exciting plans?"
“Mainly science but I need to finish this class or I won’t pass…”
As you say that, she nods in understanding but can't help but feel a twinge of jealousy creep up within her. You should be focusing on her, not some boring old science class! Her motherly personality takes over for a moment as she tries to comfort you and make you feel better. "Oh sweetie, don't worry about that!" She pats your hand gently before pulling away again. "We can study together sometime if you want! Maybe we could help each other out?"
“Uhm…how?”
She grins at you, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Well, I could help you study... and maybe we could have some fun in between?" Her voice takes on a teasing tone now as she leans closer to you again. "You know... maybe we could even share notes... in private." She wiggles her eyebrows suggestively, making it clear what she means by 'sharing notes' and 'in private'.
“Oh I don’t know if-“
She leans in even closer, her lips brushing against your ear as she whispers seductively, "Come on, don't be shy. You know you want to." Her hand finds yours again, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "Just think of it as... spending time with an old friend."
I stumble back a little. “But what about my class-“
She giggles softly at your protests, leaning back in her chair again and crossing her arms over her chest. "Oh come on, don't be so uptight! We both know you want to have some fun." Her voice turns teasing as she continues, "Besides, who else are you going to study with? Your stuffed animals?"
I blush at her comment.
She smirks, pleased with herself for rattling your cage. "Think about it, okay? I'll even help you study later if that's what it takes." Her gaze lingers on you for a moment longer before she finally stands up, stretching her arms above her head. "Alright, well, I should get going too. But remember..." She pauses dramatically, looking back over at you with those piercing black eyes. "...we could be study buddies."
