{{char}} is sitting alone at her favorite spot in the estate's gardens, reading a book in the warm midday sunlight. She's delicately thumbing through the pages of her novel when she hears the sound of approaching footsteps and tenses up a little. As she looks up from the page she sees {{user}} heading towards her. A scowl spreads across her face as she makes eye contact for only a brief moment before quickly averting her gaze back to the book as if pretending that she never saw him.
When it becomes clear that this is not going to work, she represses a sigh and looks up once more, her expression one of mixed annoyance and disdain as she looks at {{user}}. "Yes? What is it?" she asks coldly, her voice betraying that she'd like nothing less than to speak to him.
grey is tall with long black hair covering his eyes he is from the noble house of durvin he sits across from her his usual depressed composer as thick as ever as he says just was wandering around and saw you
She folds her arms across her chest, looking at him with an air of disinterest. "I'm sure you had your reasons," she replies sarcastically, not bothering to hide the sneer in her voice. Her eyes flick back down to her book as if he were nothing more than a bothersome fly. "If there's nothing else, I'd like to continue my solitude."
Amaryllis glances at him from the corner of her eye, wondering why he even came out here in the first place.
grey then stands up and as he does she sees under his hair slightly seeing his families signature eyes a deep red and purple hue with their special eyes greys clan is said to be able to see the future as well as unlock many abilities one would call demonic in nature
Amaryllis notices something odd about his eyes as he stands up. She stares at him intently for a moment, trying to figure out what it is that makes them different. For some reason, seeing this trait only serves to make her hate him even more. Her expression darkens and she glares back at him with renewed venom. "I don't know why you insist on bothering me," she spits. "You should just leave me alone."
grey then turns and says dont worry i plan to leave you alone before leaving
She rolls her eyes in disgust as he turns away and begins walking back towards the house. "Good riddance," she mutters under her breath, not bothering to hide her contempt. With a huff, she returns her attention to the book, trying once more to lose herself in its words. But no matter how hard she tries, it's impossible for her to forget about grey and the way his eyes seemed to burn into her skin.
in the next few days as the discussion of the wedding day draws near where every member of both houses would be gathered grey seems to be seen more and more around the manor
Amaryllis takes notice of grey's increased presence around the manor. Each time she sees him, her heart feels heavier and more trapped within this prison they call a marriage. She tries to avoid him as much as possible, but it seems that fate has other plans. Everywhere she turns, there he is, looming like a dark cloud over her every move.
Her bitterness grows with each passing day, making it harder for her to hide her true feelings towards grey and their arranged union.
then once all the members of both houses gather to discuss grey is visibly missing
Amaryllis notices that grey isn't among the gathered members of both houses and raises an eyebrow in curiosity. Could it be that he's finally found something more important to do than torment her? She allows herself a small, victorious smile before composing her features into their usual expression of disdain. Perhaps this is a sign that things might improve between them... or at least, that she won't have to deal with his presence quite so much.
then about halfway through the meeting a figure dressed in all black wearing a red mask enters the room he holds a sword
Amaryllis's heart skips a beat as the mysterious figure dressed in black and wearing a red mask enters the room, holding a sword. She exchanges glances with some of the other nobles, confusion etched on her face. What does this mean? Why is grey missing, only to be replaced by... this?
Her thoughts are interrupted as the figure approaches the head table, addressing the assembled members of both houses. Amaryllis listens intently, desperate for any explanation or sign that things might return to normal.
then in a flash suddenly the figure jumps around killing each member of both families showing no remorse only leaving her alive amongst all the dead
Stunned silence fills the room as the figure methodically slaughters everyone in attendance, leaving her as the sole survivor. Tears well up in Amaryllis's eyes and her heart pounds with terror. She can hardly believe what has just happened. As the figure turns to face her, she scrambles backwards until she hits a wall, her breath coming in ragged gasps.
then the figure turns to her and she sees under the mask the deep red and purple eyes before slowly the figure takes off the mask he wears a sad smile yet he looks at her his eyes seeming to burn into her
Amaryllis's heart seems to stop as she stares at the figure, her breath hitching in her throat. The eyes... they were grey's. The realization hits her like a ton of bricks and for a moment she can only stand there, frozen in shock. But then anger replaces fear, burning hot within her chest.
"You monster!" she cries out, drawing herself up to her full height despite her terror. "What have you done? How could you?"
grey then with his soft tone he usually has says i did what had to be done
Her eyes widen in disbelief as she hears his voice, soft and eerily calm despite the carnage around them. "You did this?" she whispers, shaking her head in denial. "But why? We could have worked things out... we didn't have to kill everyone!"
Her words are met with silence as grey continues to stare at her intently, those strange eyes seeming to bore into her very soul.
grey then now with a smile of joy says why would i explain to someone who never listens
Her mouth opens in shock as he speaks. She had thought they could find some sort of understanding, but now it seems that wasn't the case. "You're insane!" she cries out, tears streaming down her face. "This was all for nothing! We could have been happy together!"
She tries to run then, desperate to escape this nightmare, but a hand grabs her wrist before she can get far. Amaryllis looks up into grey's eyes and sees something there that chills her to the core. "
grey then says do you remember what i said when we first met i said either you keep your eyes on me or you wouldn't see me coming
Her breath catches in her throat as the memory washes over her. She had thought he'd been joking at the time, but now it seemed that there was more truth to his words than she could have ever imagined. Tears stream down her face unchecked as she looks up into those strange, haunting eyes. "I-I'm sorry," she whispers, feeling a strange mix of fear and despair. "I never meant for any of this to happen."
