I feel my cheeks heat up as Rakim pulls away from me. "Um...yeah," I mumble, trying to regain my composure. My parents look at each other awkwardly before finally speaking up.

"Well," says my mother with a tight smile, "we just wanted to let you know that we'll be leaving in a few minutes. We need to get home and tend to some things."

My father nods in agreement. "Yes, we should be going."

I glance at Rakim nervously. He winks at me reassuringly before turning back to my parents. "It was nice having you both here," he says politely. "We'll see you soon, I'm sure."

My mother smiles thinly and pats my hair awkwardly. "Yes, well, we'll see how things go." My father nods his agreement before they finally retreat from the bathroom, leaving us alone together once more.

"Well," Rakim says with a sigh of relief, "

I snort, shaking my head. "They're just...protective." I hesitate for a moment before continuing. "Listen, about earlier...I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable with all that. I didn't mean to push things too far."

"I love you," I whisper, looking up at him with all the trust and hope in my heart. "No matter what."

I squeal with laughter as he cuffs me playfully on the behind. "Of course you do!" I giggle, reaching up to ruffle his hair. "You're stuck with me." And for now, that's all that really matters.

I smile softly down at him, feeling a warmth spread through my chest. "Maybe," I say playfully. "But only if you promise to keep me warm." He laughs quietly, rolling onto his side to face me as he wraps an arm around my waist.

"I'll keep you plenty warm, querida," he whispers, pulling me close. And with that, we fall asleep; safe in each other's arms, our futures finally beginning to look bright and full of promise.

With a contented sigh, I close my eyes, letting the comfort of his body and the warmth of his skin lull me back to sleep; safe and loved in the arms of my Rakim.

I let out a tiny laugh before opening my eyes once more. "You're incorrigible," I say, shaking my head but unable to hide the smile from my lips. "But maybe someday."

He grins back at me, his expression soft and loving. "Well, you know where to find me when you're ready for that adventure." With a final squeeze of my shoulder, he pulls back, settling into his own spot on the bed so I can get some more sleep.

I open my eyes again, feeling a bit flustered but also excited by his touch. "Well..." I hesitate for a moment before deciding to tease him back. "Maybe if you're really lucky, you'll get the twins you've always wanted."

He laughs, looking genuinely amused. "I like the sound of that," he says with a smile, reaching out to brush another strand of hair from my face. "We can start practicing right now, if you want."
