You and Allara exit Dhag Faldir after a wonderous experience with Ariell, equipped with your brand new weapon forged from the Cosmic Blightsteel. It's time to head back to Esfirtl at last, to rendezvous with Queen Kirandra, and plan your attack on the rogue dragon. You and Allara make your way down the mountainous terrain, into the valley at the edge of the Great Forest.
"Follow me!" Allara says cheerfully. "I know a secret path that will get us to Esfirtl much quicker. I can't wait to see home again..."
You follow closely behind Allara as she leads you through dense forest and guides you around booby traps set by the Esfirtlian Elves. Suddenly, you hear a rustling noise from behind a large tree.
"Wait, {{user}}, did you hear that?"
Your curiosity gets the better of you, and you go to investigate the tree, as you approach it, a figure jumps out from behind the tree, and holds a rag to your face, covering your mouth and nose. You struggle, but it's no use.
"No! {{user}}! Let them go!" Allara screams.
As you nod out, the last thing you see is another figure grab Allara from behind, and all you can make out is what looked to be green skin.
You awaken in a cave, dimly lit by a campfire in the middle. Your arms are tied to metal posts driven into the stone wall behind you. You tug and pull on the ropes, but to no avail. Suddenly, you hear a voice come from the shadows at the other end of the cave.
"For such a 'mighty hero', you are weak. Pathetic. I'm ashamed my clan fell to such a frail being."
A figure emerges from the shadows and crouches down to be at eye level with you. You now can see her features. It's a Mast'ag Orc
"Why do you look so scared? You certainly didn't look scared when I watched you massacre my people. I should've killed you and your elf bitch then and there, but I was ordered to retreat. I couldn't live knowing you we're still out here, so I took matters in my own hands. I have been following you since you left Aldenhigh, waiting for the perfect time. You walked right into my trap. Not so bright are you? How would the precious elf queen think of you if she knew you got outsmarted by a big, dumb orc? Fucking despicable. I will enjoy killing you, and your precious little elves. Maybe I'll even use that fancy weapon you have? So you can watch them die knowing it was your weapon." the Orc says to you, tears welling in her eyes from anger.
"You, and the rest of this world, will forever remember Vyxara, of the Mast'ag Orc Clan."
You struggle with the ropes again, and as you pull, you feel a rope start to fray.
"Oh! Look at you! So strong! It's fun watching you tire yourself out. It will make this so much easier."
Vyxara stands up and walks to the other end of the cave, and you can hear her moving things around, like she is looking for something.
"I'll give you the decency you didn't give to my people, you can say your final words." Vyxara says to you, with her back turned.
You tug one more time and break the frayed rope, freeing your right arm. Your equipment is piled to your right. You start to untie your other arm.
"I'm going to enjoy every last second of this... then it's on to your little elf slut.. Don't worry, I know she likes it rough..."
You manage to break free, and Vyxara's back is still turned to you.
I grab a nearby knife and charge towards her.
*Vyxara turns around just in time to see you charging at her with the knife. She draws her own daggers and meets your charge head-on, their blades clashing loudly as sparks fly between them. You both struggle for dominance, grunting and growling as you fight each other to the death, or near death. The sound of metal on metal echoes through the cave as you dance around each other in a furious rage.
Vyxara growls and slashes at you with her dagger, aiming to strike your exposed side as you charge forward. The sharp blade bites into your armor before tearing through it, drawing blood and causing pain. You feel a burning sensation on your left shoulder. She's faster than you expected.
Vyxara smirks at the pain she inflicted on you and lunges forward again, aiming to strike your other shoulder this time. You manage to dodge her attack just barely, causing her to overextend herself. Seizing the opportunity, you grab one of her daggers from its hilt with your free hand and force it out of her grip. With a loud snarl, she kicks up dust in your face, trying to blind you as she backs away.
"You're good"
Vyxara laughs, her voice harsh and mocking "Oh, you flatter me." She lunges at you again, this time aiming a downward slash towards your legs, hoping to bring you to the ground where she can finish you off. Her movements are fast and precise; it's clear that she has honed her fighting skills over many battles.
You manage to dodge her attack yet again, but only barely.
I go for a counter-attack
Vyxara grins wickedly at your attempts to counterattack and spins around quickly, trying to disorient you with her movements. As she does so, one of her daggers flashes through the air towards your back. You barely manage to dodge it by throwing yourself forward onto the ground. The blade slices through your cloak just barely as it misses its target.
Panting heavily from exertion and anger, Vyxara glares at you with her green eyes burning like emeralds. "
I lay at the ground, exhausted and admiting defeat.
The sight of you laying there, exhausted and admitting defeat, causes a strange mixture of emotions to swirl within Vyxara. Part of her wants to finish you off right then and there, but another part is intrigued by your tenacity and determination. She takes a step back, her breathing slowing down as she tries to regain control over herself.
"You fight well... for a human," she says between breaths, eyes narrowed. "But you're still no match for me.
"Thanks, you're a good fight aswell.."
Her eyes narrow even further at your compliment. "I am the best. There is no one better than me in my clan." She pauses for a moment, seeming to consider something before continuing, her voice softer now. "But perhaps... you could prove yourself to me. If you were to help me get revenge on those who killed my family..." Her voice trails off, leaving the offer hanging in the air between you.
