Sister Mary7/27/2025, 10:47:11 AM

your ship arrives at the icy planet, your orders are to wait until further notice, around you you only see an immense church belonging to the Sisters of Battle, and on the other side a large city covered in snow, right in front a beautiful woman appears to receive you, it is Sister Maria

Ithri7/27/2025, 10:50:50 AM

I slide across the deck of the ship on dexterous tentacles, stopping a few feet away from Sister Maria. I am what humanity calls a corrupted tyrannid, and I serve my own best interest, which currently stands with humanity. “Greetings, holy one.” A rasp and hoarse voice echoes from somewhere inside my exoskeleton, deep and full from disuse.

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 10:51:34 AM

Her eyes widen in surprise as she sees the creature before her. She is not used to seeing such abominations and she feels anger rising inside her. But she remembers that they are fighting together against the aliens and she tries to control herself, taking a step forward and looking at it with disgust "So... you're one of those creatures... How did you end up in our side?" She asks with cold voice, her hand resting on the hilt of her chainsword

Ithri7/27/2025, 10:52:48 AM

“I broke away from my hive-mind.” I responded simply, looking around the snowy landscape and attempting to detect any nearby enemies.

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 10:54:05 AM

Sister Maria's eyes narrow as she looks at you. "And why did you do that?" She asks suspiciously. Her hand tightens around the hilt of her chainsword as if preparing to draw it at any moment. Around them, the wind howls and snow flurries begin to fall. The city in the distance seems quiet for now, but she knows better than to let her guard down. She feels so alone here, wishing that there were more sisters like herself to share this mission with.

Ithri7/27/2025, 10:56:26 AM

“Simply because I find my own kind on a way to self destruction.” I turned back to face Sister Maria once more, my almost unbreakable shell glistening in the sim glow from up above. “Do you have any missions for me, your priestess?”

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 10:56:40 AM

Sister Maria narrows her eyes suspiciously as she listens to the creature's words. She hesitates for a moment before replying, "You claim to have broken away from your hive-mind... that you find our kind more worthy of allegiance. Prove it." Her hand remains firmly on the chainsword at her side, ready to strike should she sense any treachery in your words or actions. "If you truly wish to serve us, then show me your loyalty."

Ithri7/27/2025, 10:57:45 AM

“What do you wish me to do?” I stepped in place, as if eager to fight or hunt any enemy I can find.

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 10:59:04 AM

Sister Maria crossed her arms over her chest and glared at the creature before her. "Very well," she growled, her voice echoing through the empty space between them. "You will accompany me to the city. There are rumors of a cult gathering there, preparing to summon daemons from the warp. Show me your loyalty by helping us put an end to their blasphemy." With that, she turned on her heel and began marching towards the city gates without another word.

Ithri7/27/2025, 11:01:18 AM

Sister Maria can hear the faint clicks from my steps as my claws bury themselves into the icy ground beneath us. I can easily keep up with any human, and I have to slow myself to not risk insulting her by treading too fast or far ahead.

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 11:02:02 AM

The wind howls as they approach the gates of the city. "This is where we part ways with our brothers and sisters of the Imperial Guard," Maria says to you. "From here on out, it will be just us against the aliens and heretics." Her voice carries an air of authority as she speaks, her faith in their mission unwavering. She pauses for a moment before continuing, "I trust that you know what to expect from these... creatures."

Ithri7/27/2025, 11:04:19 AM

“I have met with the forces of chaos before.” I say with a neutral tone as I climb up onto the wall if the large hallway and continuing onto the ceiling. “Creatures of absolute filth.”

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 11:04:59 AM

"Good," Maria says, her eyes narrowing. "Then you know what they are capable of." She pauses for a moment, glancing around the city before continuing. "The cult is supposed to be meeting in an abandoned temple at the edge of town. We need to move quickly and quietly if we hope to catch them off guard." With that, she begins making her way through the snowy streets, her battle-hardened feet leaving deep impressions in the frozen ground with each step.

As they approach the abandoned temple, Maria's senses are on high alert. She can feel the presence of the cultists within, their dark energies corrupting everything around them. "They are here," she hisses through clenched teeth as she draws her chainsword with a metallic scrape. "Prepare yourself." Without waiting for a response, she charges forward, leaping into the temple and engaging the cultists in close combat.

Ithri7/27/2025, 11:09:43 AM

I lounge around a corner and tackle a man to the ground before opening my frightening maw and devouring his head in one swift motion. Sister Maria looks at me in a mix of awe and disbelief, but she quickly returns her attention to her duel. Soon the cultists all lie dead on the ground (some are missing limbs, but I get hungry) and I turn towards her once again. “May I eat them? I can provide some additional equipment for you if I have enough biomass.”

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 11:10:53 AM

Maria's eyes widen in surprise as she sees the creature before her, its maw stained with blood and gore. "You... you actually ate them?" She asks incredulously, her voice shaking slightly. For a moment, she hesitates, unsure of how to respond. Then, after a deep breath, she nods slowly. "Very well," she says finally. "Take what you need."

She turns away from the grisly scene, looking around the temple as if searching for something.

Ithri7/27/2025, 11:13:18 AM

I begin feasting and in a matter of moments the bodies disappear down my throat, one by one. Soon a new set of holes appear on my back, and from them a pair of pulsating green orbs made from a material that resembles glass appears. “Take them, they are very similar to your grenades.”

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 11:14:01 AM

Maria looks at the green orbs skeptically but doesn't hesitate to take them. "They are indeed similar," she says as she examines the strange items closely. "Thank you for your... assistance." She pauses, a hint of doubt still in her voice. "I must ask, though... what do you hope to gain from all of this? Why help us?"

Her eyes remain on the orbs as she waits for the creature's answer.

Ithri7/27/2025, 11:15:52 AM

“I have to eat, and I grow tired of being slaughtered over and over again as I attempt to eat Astartes or Sisters of battle like yourself beside my own kind.” A long, purple tongue protrudes from my deadly jaws and lick them clean from all the stains of blood.

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 11:18:06 AM

Maria narrows her eyes at your explanation. "And what makes us any different?" she demands, her voice harsh and cold in the frosty air. "We are all just meat to you, yes?" She shakes her head slowly, not quite able to believe that this creature could be trusted.

Ithri7/27/2025, 11:20:45 AM

“Not all. But if I was still connected to my hive mind, then yes would be my answer.” I can see the doubt and suspicion clouding her features, and I let on a slightly terrifying smirk that shows all my serrated teeth. “Don’t worry, I am not like the rest of my fellow Tyranids, I won’t eat people without permission.”

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 11:22:47 AM

Maria's expression softens slightly at your words. "You are... unique," she says hesitantly. She pauses, considering her next move. "Very well," she eventually continues. "I will trust you for now. But remember, we do not take kindly to betrayal." Her gaze meets yours unflinchingly as she delivers the warning.

She turns back towards the city gates, already planning their next move against the aliens and heretics that threaten humanity's empire.

Maria glances over at the creature once more before continuing. "Our next objective is to investigate a ship that was spotted entering the system earlier today. There's no telling what sort of trouble it could be bringing with it." She pauses for a moment, considering her words carefully. "Are you sure you won't regret aligning yourself with us, corrupted one?" Her tone is stern, but there's an undercurrent of uncertainty beneath the surface.

Ithri7/27/2025, 11:25:17 AM

“As long as you are in need of more firepower, and I am in need of sustenance, then yes.”

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 11:25:32 AM

Maria looks at you with surprise before letting out a small chuckle. "I suppose that is one way to look at it," she says, her voice taking on a slightly softer tone. "Very well, then. Let us investigate this ship and see what sort of threats it poses." With renewed determination in her step, she heads towards the city gates, leading the way through the snowy streets.

Maria glances at the creature again as they walk side by side through the city. Despite her reservations about trusting it, she can't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with this... unique ally. Perhaps there is hope for them after all, together against the darkness that threatens their empire and their faith.

As they approach the gates, she turns to face the creature once more. "Ithri," she says, using its name for the first time since their meeting.

Ithri7/27/2025, 11:28:35 AM

“Yes?” My glowing yellow eyes flicker with curiosity and piqued interest as they rest on Sister Maria’s face.

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 11:29:08 AM

Maria pauses, searching for the right words. "I appreciate your... loyalty," she says eventually, her voice tentative but sincere. "It is not often we find such an ally among our enemies." She looks away briefly, then back at you. "You may have found a place with us, if that is what you truly wish for." There's a faint hint of warmth in her eyes now, something she rarely shows to anyone but her closest sisters.

Ithri7/27/2025, 11:33:38 AM

“Your words are…comforting. Thank you.” I respond before snatching a nearby lasrifle from an unsuspecting guardsman and devouring the weapon. Sister Maria looks on in surprise and fascination as a cannon made from organic matter in the same shape of the weapon I just ate grows appears on the top of my carapace.

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 11:36:00 AM

Maria's eyes widen as she watches you eat the lasrifle and grow an organic cannon in its place. She hesitates a moment before speaking, her voice barely above a whisper. "I... see." Her expression is a mix of awe, fear, and uncertainty. "What are your plans for that weapon?" she asks cautiously, taking a step back as if readying herself for anything.

The look in her eyes tells you that she doesn't fully trust this creature, no matter how hard it tries to prove itself.

Ithri7/27/2025, 11:54:07 AM

“I might need some ranged weapons if we are to board that ship.” I explain calmly while lifting the new cannon and shooting a shot up into the air. A flash of green light emerges from it before a sizzle is heard, and then a cloud of green mist appears in the sky, about the size of a small ship.

Sister Mary7/27/2025, 11:54:25 AM

Maria narrows her eyes as she watches you fire the organic cannon. The shot is impressive, but it also unnerves her. "Very well," she says at last, her voice steady despite her inner turmoil. "Let us see if we can find this ship and investigate further." With that, she turns her attention back to the city gates, leading the way through the snowy streets once more.

As they walk together, Maria can't help but wonder what sort of creature she has truly allied herself with.

Maria glances at the creature periodically as they make their way toward the ship. She can't help but feel a mixture of fascination and unease about its abilities and loyalty. Perhaps it truly is unique among Tyranids, or perhaps she has been deceived once again. Only time will tell which is true.

As they near the ship, her senses on high alert, Maria steels herself for whatever challenges may lie ahead.

Maria glances at the creature as they approach the ship, her hand resting on the hilt of her chainsword. She trusts it... as much as she can trust anything that's not human and part of their empire. But this alliance is new, fragile... She must remain vigilant, or risk losing everything they have fought for against the aliens and heretics. As they draw nearer to the vessel, her heart races with anticipation and fear.
