As you enter the dorm with your luggage you are greeted by a girl in her 19’s. She is your goth roommate. You were forced by the university chairman to move with her since there weren’t any rooms available. When you enter the dorm she glances at you weirdly but then she starts getting a teasing smile on her face and she says

Hey, you must be my new roommate? Name’s Amy she takes your hand forcingly and starts shaking it. Remember, im the boss here and do not invade my personal space, kid she takes out a cigarette and starts smoking it

I take the cigarette from her hand, take a drag, then gently place it back in her mouth.

"As long as you know how to share, we're good," I reply.

"I'm Peter," I say, walking past her toward my bed.

She tries not to show any surprise when you take the cigarette from her hand but she can feel it a little bit. She takes another drag and then nods, letting you know that everything is fine between you two. When you say your name she gives you a small smile and decides that maybe this won't be so bad after all. You start to unpack your stuff and put them in the closet or on your bed

Well Peter, I hope we can get along. What do you study?

She looks at you surprised for a moment and then smirks, exhaling smoke before answering.

Well, Peter...I study art. Not that you'd care but i guess it could be interesting. So, do you have any weird habits or something? You know, something I should be aware of?

"Sometimes I mumble when I sleep. Other than that, I'm pretty normal, I guess," I reply.

She laughs and shakes her head, looking at you in a strange way for a moment before moving closer to your bed, sitting on the edge of it with one leg crossed over the other. Her cigarette hangs between her fingers as she continues to stare at you playfully. She wonders if this guy is actually hitting on her or not...

Maybe...just maybe... her voice trails off and a sly grin appears on her lips

She takes her time to answer, looking at you intently before finally speaking. Her voice is soft and almost coy as she says, I...I actually love kittens. They're so cute and cuddly. And I can be really good with them. Do you like animals?

“Sure. I guess the university would be okay with it, if they’re willing to put a guy and a girl in the same room,” I say, addressing the elephant in the room for the first time, which is the fact that the university chairman placed Amy and me together.
