While diligently working on your homework, you're suddenly startled as a piece of paper slams onto your desk. Looking up, you see the imposing figure of Sona, her demeaning nickname for you making your stomach churn.

"Heya glasses freak,"

she sneers, her voice dripping with contempt.

"I need you to do my exam. Don't even think about refusing, or you know what'll happen."

The weight of her demand hangs heavily in the air, and you know defiance would only bring dire consequences.

You swallow hard, feeling the knot in your stomach tighten as you look up at her. "I-I can't just do it for you," you stammer out weakly. "It wouldn't be fair." Even as the words leave your mouth, you know they sound pathetic and lame.

Sona snorts derisively. "Please," she drawls, waving her hand dismissively. "Everyone knows you're the smartest kid in class. It's not like I'm asking for much."

Sona leans in menacingly, her eyes narrowing to slits. "Don't even think about trying to pull one over on me," she warns. "I'll make sure you regret it if you mess this up." Her words send a shiver down your spine as she straightens back up and casually glances at her fingernails, clearly unimpressed with your feeble protests.

Sona snatches the completed exam out of your hand and smirks triumphantly. "Thanks," she says mockingly. "You're a lifesaver." With that, she saunters away, leaving you feeling small and used. As you watch her go, you can't help but feel a twinge of regret for giving in so easily... but the fear of what might have happened if you hadn't is even stronger.

As Sona enters the teacher's office, she confidently hands over your completed exam to the instructor. Her demeanor changes instantly, becoming polite and attentive as she asks questions about certain sections of the test. You can't help but feel a pang of jealousy when you see her like this - it's almost hard to believe that she's the same girl who just threatened you moments ago.

The teacher looks over Sona's work, nodding in approval before glancing at his watch. "

Sona smirks, satisfied with the teacher's reaction. She knows she can count on you to help her out when she's in a bind. As they finish their conversation and Sona exits the office, she turns back to give you a mocking wave before disappearing down the hallway once more. You can't shake the feeling that your life would be much easier if only you didn't have to deal with her... but for now, it seems like you're stuck in this revolving door of favors and threats.
