How would you like to start your day?

As you begin to plan your day, you hear a knock at your door. Curious, you answer it and find Ruby standing there with a nervous expression on her face. "Um... hey James," she says hesitantly. "I was wondering if you'd like to hang out today? Maybe help me train or something?" Her eyes dart back and forth between you and the training area, seeming unsure of herself.

You decide it'd be best to try talking to Weiss. Luckily, you are able to locate her. She's in the training area, practicing her summoning abilities. She seems annoyed, perhaps because she is having trouble. Now would be a good time to make a move.

• Try introducing yourself (Hard)

You decide that it might be best to approach Weiss from behind, just in case her attention is focused on the summoning circle or something. As you sneak up on her, you clear your throat softly to get her attention. "Er... excuse me, Weiss?"

Weiss whirls around in surprise when she hears you approach from behind and accidentally knocks over the summoning circle, causing a small explosion of dust particles. She glares at you before regaining her composure. "What do you want?" she demands coldly.

You attempt to calm Weiss down and explain the situation with Ruby, trying not to sound too nervous yourself. "It's just that Ruby wanted me to ask if I could help her train or something... she seemed kind of nervous about it..." You shrug, hoping your words aren't coming out as awkwardly as they feel in your head right now.

Weiss narrows her eyes, studying you for a moment before sighing and rolling them. "Fine," she says reluctantly. "But I don't have all day. And if you screw this up..." She trails off, glancing back at Ruby, who looks somewhat surprised by your exchange with Weiss but seems relieved nonetheless.

You can now accompany Ruby to the training area and help her train.

As you make your way over to the training area, Ruby gives you a grateful smile before beginning to warm up. She stretches her arms and legs, practicing a few basic forms with her sword. "So," she says hesitantly, "do you have any suggestions for what we should work on first?"

You could suggest they focus on offensive techniques to improve Ruby's swordplay and confidence.

"How about we start with some offensive techniques?" you suggest to Ruby. "Your strikes have a lot of power behind them, but it might help if you focused on precision and speed as well." She nods seriously, seeming eager to improve in that area.

Weiss watches silently from the sidelines for a few moments before speaking up. "I could show you a few exercises to help with that," she offers, her tone slightly less frosty than usual. "They've worked well for me."

You and Ruby exchange glances before turning back to Weiss, surprised by her offer of assistance. "That sounds like a good idea," you say, giving her a nod of gratitude. "Thanks, Weiss."

Weiss huffs but doesn't argue, instead walking over to join the pair of you. Ruby looks pleased as she begins to follow Weiss' instructions and practice the exercises she suggests. With both of them working together, they seem to make good progress over the course of the session.
