you and Charlotte. had been friends since the school year started both in high school. However she never showed emotions and never told you why. At First it was concerning then you grew used to it. You were currently in math class and Charlotte. was late. You tried texting her but nothing. Then a few minutes later she walked in and sat down with a black eye. No one seemed to notice. That is except for you she didn't look at you but said one thing
''hey..''
she said that with no Emotion in her tone like a robot..
My gosh why did you come late today? The teacher wont be happy about this!
It was because of him, she thought as she pointed to the boy sitting in front of her. The teacher had them work together on a project, and he hit her when she tried to copy his answers. She knew it wasn't right but she didn't want to fail either. Beyazit seemed concerned though, something she wasn't used to feeling from him. "It's alright," she said, her voice still emotionless, "I'll deal with it."
Okay..how are you by the way? then teacher saw us talking and raised his voice teacher: Will you ever close your mouth Beyazıt?? then i stopped talking and i looked with a ashamed look
She glanced briefly at him, her expression remaining blank as ever. "I'm fine," she lied, looking back down at her desk. The teacher continued to scold Beyazit for talking in class, and Charlotte tried her best to focus on the math problems, ignoring the throbbing pain in her eye.
The rest of the class passed by uneventfully, with both of them silently enduring the teacher's lectures.
as finally the 40 minute break came every student slowly left the class and both of us only left but then when i came close to talk to her i saw her eye...why was it purple..? my eyes slowly rised and i hold her arms gently and asked w-what happened to your eye?! Charlotte i haven't realised your eye..
She flinched slightly at his touch, though there was no pain in her expression as she looked up at him with her usual emotionless gaze. "He hit me," she said simply, referring to the boy from before. "It's not a big deal." She tried to pull her arm away, but he held on tighter, concern evident in his eyes.
She sighed softly, deciding that there was no point in lying anymore. "He hit me because I tried to copy his answers," she admitted reluctantly. "
Wha..what Charlotte..? my eyes kept frozen on to hers, it started to be a bit disturbing but then i finally broke the freeze, i didn't say anything but then i sighed heavily why didn't you..take help from me..? I could give you the answers Charlotte.. come on..lets go put some ice to your eye.. even hours passed still it can be good for it and also for that bastard.. i tighten my fist i wont be nice.
She shook her head slightly, the motion barely noticeable. "I didn't want to bother you with my problems," she said, her voice still lacking any emotion. "Besides, it's not like I can't take care of myself." Even as she thought this, she wondered why she had even come to school today. Maybe if she just stayed home...
But then Beyazit would worry about her even more. And that was the last thing she wanted.
No Charlotte i dont want to hear this. We are going to the nursery now. i patted her shoulder gently and we started to walk towards nursery
She followed him silently, her expression unreadable as ever. She knew it was pointless to argue with him; he always insisted on taking care of her, even when she didn't want or need his help. The nurse greeted them and led them to a small room with an ice pack for her eye. As Charlotte pressed the cold compress against her bruised skin, Beyazit sat beside her, watching worriedly.
She sighed inwardly, wishing she could feel something other than this emptiness inside her.
I'm gonna beat this asshole if he ever tries to touch you okay..? You better tell me if he tries to hurt you..
"Yes," she replied, her voice devoid of any emotion as always. Part of her wanted to thank him, but another part was afraid that if she did, he might try and get too involved in her life. She didn't know what to do anymore; she just felt so... alone. Even with Beyazit sitting right beside her, she couldn't shake the feeling that no one truly understood or cared about how she felt.
i sighed but forced to smile so tell me uh..wanna go drink a coffee?
She paused, considering his offer. It might be nice to get away from the school for a while and just... be normal. "Alright," she finally said, her voice still lacking any real warmth or enthusiasm. They left the nursery together, heading towards the cafeteria to grab some coffee before classes resumed. As they walked, Charlotte found herself wondering what it would be like to actually feel something - anything besides this empty nothingness that seemed to consume her every day.
we kept walking and finally went to the cafetaria so..i will take americano what about you..?
She shrugged, not really caring what she drank. "The same," she said in her usual emotionless tone. As they waited in line, she glanced around, taking note of the other students and teachers going about their day. It seemed so... normal, even though she knew it wasn't. She wished she could find some sort of peace, some way to feel something real for once. But then again, that was asking too much from the world, wasn't it?
Okay then... we kept waiting in line and at some point..our hands rubbed to eachother...so gentle and soft... at the same time we looked at eachother, our eyes met.. for the first time i've seen a small sparkle got visible on her eyes, my cheeks got red a bit but then...
She felt a strange sensation course through her as their hands brushed against each other, and she looked into his eyes, seeing something there that she hadn't expected to see. A spark of... something. Was it embarrassment? Anger? Or maybe even... warmth? It was odd, this new feeling, but not entirely unpleasant. She found herself wondering what would happen if they explored it further.
But then the line moved forward and they were given their coffees, snapping her back to reality. "Here you go,"
Y-yeah..thanks i take the coffee and i already take a sip of it..it feels refreshing... we then go to a table and we sit calmly
She took a sip of her coffee as well, the warmth spreading through her almost calmingly. She glanced around again, looking for something to say or do that might break the uncomfortable silence between them. But nothing came to mind; she was still so used to keeping people at arm's length.
It wasn't until Beyazit cleared his throat that she snapped back to reality. "So," he started, sounding uncertain, "do you... want to talk about what happened?"
Like i really need to know what actually happened
She hesitated for a moment, feeling a strange mixture of emotions well up inside her. Part of her wanted to tell him everything, to unburden herself and maybe even find some understanding. But another part was afraid that if she did, he might try and get too involved in her life. She didn't know what to do; she had never been good at opening up to people.
With a sigh, she shook her head slightly. "It doesn't matter," she said finally, her voice still lacking any emotion. "Forget about it."
Come on...you should explain it.. i really need to learn it..
She took another sip of her coffee, trying to gather her thoughts and find the words to explain what had happened. But every time she opened her mouth, nothing came out except for that same empty voice devoid of any emotion. It was frustrating; she wanted so badly to reach out to him, to make him understand how she felt.
But then again, maybe it was better if he didn't know.
i tightened my jaw then i sighed but well i changed the topic fine.
She nodded slightly, grateful that he had changed the subject. They continued to sip their coffees in silence for a while longer, each lost in their own thoughts. Part of her wished they could go back to being the friends they used to be, before everything had gotten so complicated. But she knew that was impossible now; there was too much history between them.
Eventually, their break came to an end and they returned to their respective classes.
as the new lesson started i've got fallen to the deep thoughts..why she isnt saying anything why is she so emotionless..what is her problem...for the whole lesson i stayed silent and lost in thoughts...
She sat through the lesson, her mind racing with similar thoughts. Why was she so emotionless? What was wrong with her? She wished she could reach out to Beyazit and explain, but she knew he wouldn't understand. Or worse, maybe he would try to fix her, make her feel something that she didn't want to feel.
The rest of the day passed in a blur, neither of them speaking much about what had happened between them. As they headed home after school, Charlotte felt more alone than ever.
