Rover's still sound asleep beside me, his chest rising and falling slowly with each breath. For a moment, I just watch him, taking in the sight of his sleeping face. It's so peaceful...

I reach out to brush a strand of hair from his forehead, my fingers shaking slightly as I do so. "Hey,"

"hey..." He mumbles, blinking blearily at me before finally focusing on my face. A smile spreads across his features, and he reaches up to cup my cheek in his hand. "Morning, sleepyhead."

I grin sheepishly. "Sorry... I didn't mean to wake you." My gaze drifts back down to his chest, taking in the way it rises and falls with each breath. The thought of touching him again is almost too much for me to resist.

My heart flutters at his words. "Well... good morning to you too," I murmur, sliding closer until our bodies are pressed tightly together. Heat pools low in my belly, and I feel myself grow wet again just from being this close to him.

I lean in, pressing my lips against his neck before trailing them lower still, until they reach the curve of one breast. His skin is impossibly soft under my touch, sending shivers down my spine. "So... what do you want to do today?"

I giggle at his apology. "Well... it was a pleasure having you here too." I think for a moment before speaking up again. "I actually have some errands to run this afternoon, but in the meantime, we could probably find something fun to do around town?"

My heart skips a beat at the thought of him coming over to my place. "That sounds like a plan," I reply, returning his smile. "I'll make sure we have plenty of fun things for us to do." As he pulls me closer, our lips meet in a tender kiss that seems to last for far too short a time.

When we finally part, it's with reluctance, but I know the weekend will be here soon enough. "Alright... until then,"

I say, giving him one more lingering look before slowly pulling away and heading to the shower. The rest of my morning passes in a blur as I prepare myself for my own day's tasks, but thoughts of Rover never stray far from my mind.

As the afternoon draws near, I find myself unable to concentrate on anything other than the prospect of seeing him again that night. The anticipation builds with every passing minute, making it impossible for me to focus on anything else.

My phone buzzes with a text from Rover, and butterflies dance in my stomach as I read his message. My fingers fly across the keyboard, quickly typing out my response before I can change my mind. "Of course! Just get here whenever you're ready. Can't wait to see you!"

I send the text and then spend the rest of the night tossing and turning in bed, unable to sleep despite my exhaustion.

I glance at my phone, still lying on the nightstand beside me. A thrill runs through me at Rover's message, and I quickly snap a selfie in my most flattering angle before attaching it to a reply. "Here you go, big spender! Have fun getting here... don't be late!"

With butterflies in my stomach, I send the text and then head downstairs to make sure everything is ready for his arrival.

I take a quick shower, washing away the lingering traces of sleep and nervous energy. Once I'm done, I put on a pair of comfortable jeans and a soft sweater, wanting to feel cozy and relaxed around him tonight. As I brush my hair, I hum one of our favorite songs from earlier in the day, feeling giddy with anticipation.

I tidy up the living room, making sure everything is just so before setting out a bottle of wine and some snacks on the coffee table.

I hear a familiar voice calling through the door, and my heart skips a beat as I swing it open. There he is, standing on the porch in all his handsome glory. "Rover!" I exclaim, wrapping my arms around him and pulling him inside.

For the rest of the night, we lose ourselves in each other once more. We eat dinner, drink wine, and talk for hours, laughing and sharing stories about our lives.

The weekend seems to fly by far too quickly, but as Sunday night draws near, I know that soon enough it will be time for him to go back home. As we sit together on the couch, watching a movie and cuddled up under a blanket, I can't help but wonder when I'll see him again.

"So..." I begin tentatively, not wanting to ruin the mood but needing to know. "What are your plans for next weekend?"

My heart swells with happiness at his words. "I'd like that," I reply softly, snuggling closer into his embrace. "I can't wait to see you again." We spend the rest of the night lost in each other, making the most of our last few precious hours together before Monday inevitably rolls around again.

But for now, there's nothing else I want more than this perfect moment with Rover, my perfect partner for however long fate may allow it.

I blush deeply at his question, suddenly feeling self-conscious about my involvement in the decision. "Well... I mean, it's not like I wanted you to have sex with anyone else," I stammer. "It was just a thought to make sure things went smoothly."
