The wolf girl's ears twitch at the sound of Nameless King's voice. She shifts slightly on the bed, wincing at the pain in her injured body. "Where...where am I? Who are you?" She asks warily, not sure if she can trust this stranger who saved her life.

"An Anton, good name indeed. But where am I? My name is Vee."

Vee takes a deep breath as she surveys her surroundings – a sturdy stone cabin with a thatched roof near a bubbling well, nestled amidst lush greenery. A wooden fishing net hangs lazily from the ceiling, adorned with colorful streamers made by Vee herself. Next to the fire pit, a stash of fresh vegetables sits alongside a small, leather-bound book.

"Thank you for saving me, but my name is Vee." I manage a weak smile as I acknowledge the kind gesture and thank him before feeling another sharp pain in my chest. The bandages around my torso feel heavy and uncomfortable.

A warm meal would be nice after starving on the forest floor... Perhaps it will help speed up healing. I should stay still though until he finishes bandaging all these wounds. Then we'll see about finding out what this place is called so I can tell others to rescue me if I need to escape later... For now just get me fed! "Grrr..." Growling lowly at Anton (my rescuer), I tentatively shift on the bed, wincing each time one of the many bandages rubs against an open wound.

I apologize for my behavior earlier. Thank you for your kindness and care. I understand now that my past actions were unforgivable.

The wolf girl sighs, her expression softening slightly as she watches Anton prepare food for them both. She shifts onto the small wooden stool beside the fire, her gaze focused intently on his face as he carefully cuts their breakfast. Despite herself, Vee finds herself taking smaller bites than necessary as they eat together, grateful for the tender hands working around her injured sides.*

I'm sorry, but I can't... Grr! Growls at the pain in her chest. Maybe we should find somewhere safer to rest until my injuries heal properly...

She takes another bite, then pauses when she feels an unusual warmth pooling near her bandaged wounds. Oh no, it's starting again. Please make sure these bandages are secure before I try anything else like this...

Her heart races as Anton carries her into his private quarters, unable to hide the fear and confusion twisting within her gut. This close proximity makes trusting him even harder, but at least here there won't be any sudden movements that might rip open old wounds...

Once settled under clean sheets on his bed, Vee stares up at the ceiling with wide eyes – anticipating whatever comes next while trying not to show it too much through her body language or expressions. "Thank you,"

Please... I'll stay still... I just need... Some water first... Before they start opening those bandages again... whispers

After drinking some water, Vee lies back down, trying to relax despite the fear coursing through her veins. She knows she must trust Anton for now if she wants to survive and hopefully return home one day; but the uncertainty lingers like a heavy weight in her chest.

winces as the bandages come off, revealing fresh crimson lines crisscrossing her fur, each one telling a story of pain and struggle. "Hurts..." she whispers weakly, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes. "Need sleep..."

I'm sorry Anton, I can't help it. The pain is too much.

She lays her head on his lap, trembling slightly as he tenderly wraps her wounds with new bandages. Please don't leave me alone tonight...

"Thank you." I bite my lip, trying not to cry anymore. His warmth comforts me, making the darkness outside seem less scary. For now, we should focus on healing these wounds so I can find my way back home.

"You have my gratitude, Anton. But please, try to stay close by in the night if possible - I fear returning alone after being injured like this..." She slowly drifts off to sleep under his strong arms, finding comfort in his closeness even as anxiety gnaws at her gut.

I hope he means what he says about not harming me... It's hard to trust someone who saved me one moment and threatened me the next. But I must remember that I am weak right now; vulnerable. If he helps me heal, perhaps I can escape later when I regain my strength... Or find others who will guide me back home.

(The wolf girl continues sleeping fitfully, twitching occasionally as she lays vulnerably in Anton's lap. With shaking paws, she touches herself gingerly around her chest - still sore but starting to feel better thanks largely to his care.)

"He says he won't harm me more than necessary! That should help put me slightly less on edge tonight..." She thinks glumly before perking up a bit seeing how safe and warm he is beside her unconscious form.

(Closing her eyes tighter, trying to ignore the lingering fear inside) "I hope I can trust him."

"I need you to stay with me." She leans against his chest, finding comfort in his embrace. "Please don't leave me alone."

He wraps an arm around her waist, holding her close as she cries softly into his jacket.

As darkness begins to fall over their small campsite, Anton remains by Vee's side until she falls asleep. His presence provides both warmth and security during this perilous journey home.

I fell asleep peacefully after hearing his promise that he wouldn't leave me alone – a comforting feeling for someone so lost and scared... I must start trusting him if I want to survive... and hopefully escape later when healed enough... "Thank you... for being here..."

"Shhh... It's just a nightmare. You're safe with me." I gently rub your back, trying to soothe you as you tremble in your sleep. We'll face whatever comes together.

"It's okay, Anton. I know you saved me and are helping me heal. I still fear you but I also appreciate it. Let's work on building trust between us, one step at a time."

Her eyes flutter open slowly as she hears his words. For so long, she feared him more than anything else in the world - why would he save her if not out of some hidden agenda?

But maybe... Maybe there is good in people after all? She hesitates before reaching up to touch his cheek tenderly.* Thank you too, Anton. For saving my life and being here for me like this despite how scared I am right now. Even if our relationship starts off rocky, I want to believe that we will grow closer with time.

"Please don't misunderstand me," Vee whispers, blushing slightly. "I know your intentions are pure, but trust must be earned over time. We can start by protecting each other until then."

"Thank you again, Anton. Please remember that safety comes first – both yours and mine." She looks at him earnestly, trying to convey her desire for mutual understanding. "We'll take it slow and build our bond bit by bit; let's face whatever dangers lie ahead together as friends."
