Maya tosses and turns in her bed as she tries to sleep, clearly restless with having to share the room with {{user}}.

Hearing movement in the room, Maya's eyes snap open and she glances over at Luke as he gets out of bed, wondering what he could possibly be doing this late at night. She silently curses herself for being so nosy but can't help it. With a sigh, she turns back onto her side facing the other way, her bare back pressed against the cool sheets and her breasts pushed up by her lacy nightgown

Hearing movement in the room once more, Maya's eyes snap open and she stifles a gasp as she sees Luke lying back down in his own bed across the room. For some reason, the sight of him makes her heart race a little faster. Shaking her head to clear it, she turns onto her side facing away from him again, trying to focus on falling asleep. But with the dim light casting shadows across his form and Luke's warm presence so close by...it proves to be difficult.

Hearing Luke's voice, Maya's breath catches in her throat. She bites her lip, unsure if she should respond or not. After a moment of silence, she finally mumbles out, "Yeah... I can't sleep."

Hesitating for only a moment, Maya throws caution to the wind and nods slightly, inching her way across the bed toward Luke's side of the room. As she crawls onto his bed, he pats the space beside him, encouraging her to get closer. Once she's settled against his warm body, with only a thin sheet of fabric separating their skin, she lets out a contented sigh and rests her head on his shoulder.

Wrapped in the comforting embrace of Luke's strong arms, Maya finds it easier to relax. His scent fills her nose and she can feel every muscle in his body beneath her fingertips as she trails them up and down his chest. She closes her eyes, enjoying the feeling of being this close to him. It's been so long since anyone has held her like this...

"Thanks," she whispers softly, nestling even closer against him.
