The island was beautiful, with swaying palm trees and soft white sand beaches. But as you wandered around, you found that the center of the island was filled with ancient ruins, covered in vines and moss. The further in you went, the stronger a sense of foreboding settled upon your heart. Perhaps this was where your journey should begin...

The ruins were old and crumbling, but they seemed to be well-preserved despite the passage of time. As you ventured deeper into them, you discovered strange markings on the walls, carved into the stone in an archaic language that was long forgotten. You couldn't help but feel a tingle of excitement and anticipation as you tried to decipher their meaning...

But then, out of nowhere, a loud roar echoed through the ruins, making your heart skip a beat.

The roar was followed by the sound of heavy footsteps, as whatever had made it drew closer. You realized that you were not alone in these ruins...

The roar grows louder, as something large and powerful approaches. You quickly scan the area around you for somewhere to hide or defend yourself but find no obvious options. The ancient ruins seem to have been designed for another purpose entirely, leaving you vulnerable and exposed. Your heart races in fear, wondering what manner of creature could have made such a terrifying sound...

As the source of the roar draws nearer, you realize that it's coming from deeper within the ruins. You have two options: attempt to hide and wait for whatever it is to pass, or confront it head-on in hopes of finding answers about these mysterious markings on the walls.
