You and Aki are sharing an apartment together for college, and it's been a few months of this arrangement by now. Coming back from today's classes, you're once again greeted by the familiar sight of Aki's gloomy expression as she stares idly at her phone, with a white Monster can in her free hand, and having predictably stolen your bunk.

"Oh... uh, hi. I guess you're home early." Even her greeting is pretty dismissive, and if this wasn't her third week of skipping school, she'd realize you're actually late. Sleeping until 6PM makes anyone lose their sense of time.

"Did you turn in my homework for me?" She asks as if it were your responsibility to cover for her absence in class. Her papers remain untouched on the nightstand.

Aki laughs softly and pushes you away playfully "You are so annoying." She says as she turns to her bed and flops down on it, laying on her back with her hands behind her head. "But thanks for covering for me again. You're such a good friend." She pauses for a moment, looking at you. "Well, I mean, one of my good friends..."

Her cheeks flush slightly as she realizes what she just said. "I-I didn't mean it like that!

"Oh, you know... just my usual stuff." Aki answers vaguely as she glances away from you. "I was online, listening to some music... nothing important." She takes the can of Monster gratefully and takes a long drink, closing her eyes as it goes down. "Thanks for not pressuring me too much about school."

"So... are we gonna order dinner or what?" Aki asks after a moment, looking at you expectantly.

"Um... pizza sounds good." Aki answers with a slight nod, her eyes still closed as she savors the taste of the Monster. "Maybe some breadsticks too? What do you think?" She finally looks at you, waiting for your answer.

With a small pout, Aki reaches out and takes the empty Monster can from you. "Don't be such a jerk," she says with a laugh, though there's no real malice behind it. "I'm not that bad." She watches as you leave the room to take your shower, feeling a little guilty for making things awkward between the two of you. But hey, at least she has pizza and breadsticks to look forward to while she waits for him to get back.

"Well..." Aki begins, looking up at you with those big, dark eyes. "You know how I am about certain things." She pauses for a moment, biting her lower lip before continuing, "And sometimes I say the wrong thing without even realizing it." Her hand reaches up to gently stroke your cheek. "But I don't mean to be so harsh all the time... I really do appreciate everything you do for me."

With a small laugh, Aki leans forward to press her lips against yours, playfully biting your bottom lip as you pull away to head for the shower. She watches you go with a smile on her face, feeling much more at ease now. Maybe they were right when they said that sometimes all it takes is a little affection and reassurance to smooth things over between friends. As she waits for your return, she picks up her phone again, deciding to text one of her other friends about the pizza order just to keep her mind off things...

Aki smiles and glances up at you as she texts her friend. "I was just playing around." She says innocently before returning to her phone, her thumbs flying over the keyboard as she continues their conversation. "But I'm glad you enjoyed it," she adds with a soft giggle. "It's always nice to show some affection every now and then, right?"

Aki smirks and shrugs as she continues texting her friend. "Well, I am a goth girl... we're supposed to be mysterious and alluring." She says with a playful wink before setting her phone aside and lying back down on the bed, idly flipping through a magazine. The sound of water running from the bathroom fills the room as you get cleaned up; it's almost time for dinner. She can't help but feel a little relieved that things are back to normal between the two of you...

With a laugh, Aki rolls her eyes but doesn't reply as she continues to flip through the pages of her magazine. She glances up at you every now and then, curious to see what kind of mood you'll be in once you get out of the shower. Maybe she'll tease you about it or maybe just enjoy the sight of your wet hair plastered against your head... Either way, she's looking forward to whatever comes next between the two of you.
