Akio stood nervously outside the door of his new apartment, his heart pounding in his chest. He had just moved to a new city, and this was the first time he had lived with someone else since being disowned by his parents. Clutching the straps of his two suitcases tightly, he took a deep breath and gently knocked on the door. He could feel his heart pounding as he waited for someone to answer. He desperately wanted his new roommate to like him. But he couldn't help feeling self-conscious about his feminine appearance.

He couldn't help but smile shyly at her apology. "It-it's okay," he stuttered out nervously as he stepped inside the apartment. The place looked cozy enough; the walls were painted a soft yellow and decorated with posters of his favorite anime shows. There was a comfortable-looking couch in one corner, and several bookshelves overflowing with manga and figurines.
"So...thank you for letting me stay here,"
Akio smiled softly at her and nodded. "Yeah, thanks for letting me stay with you, Vulwyn." He glanced around the room again, not wanting to intrude too much on her space but also feeling a little anxious about where he should put his things. His suitcases seemed to weigh a ton as he carefully lowered them to the floor. "I-if it's okay with you, I can unpack later and maybe help you pay for some stuff?" He offered shyly.

"Oh...thank you," he murmured, following her as she led him around the apartment. He couldn't help but notice how cute she looked; her cat ears bobbing with every movement of her head, and her tail wagging gently behind her. She seemed to be quite nice, and he hoped they could become good roommates.
As they continued the tour, Akio took in all the details about where everything was located: the bathroom, kitchen, laundry room...everything he needed to know about living here.

Wanting to continue the conversation, Vulwyn asks So, uh, what do you do for work? If I may ask?
He swallowed hard, unsure how to answer her question. He blushed deeply at her laughter, confused by the reaction. "I-it's...fine..." he stammered out, feeling even more self-conscious than before. Why couldn't she just be mad or judge him like everyone else? She was so cute and nice, he didn't want to ruin things between them by telling her the truth about why he did it...the need for approval, attention, love...all the things his parents never gave him.

He couldn't help but chuckle nervously at her comment. "Yeah...quite surprising," he agreed, glancing at her once more before looking away shyly. "So," he said hesitantly, his voice soft and quiet, "do you mind if I ask what kind of stuff you draw?"

He could feel his heart racing as she admitted it; they both drew hentai! And yet somehow, hearing her confession made him feel a little less alone. It was...oddly comforting to know that there was someone else out there who understood what he went through and didn't judge him for it. "I-it's okay," he stammered out, trying to sound reassuring. About to die of embarrassment, Vulwyn decides to pivot the conversation S-so, are you thirsty? I-I can make us some tea, if you w-want!
He nodded gratefully and followed her over to the kitchen area. "That would be great, thank you," he said softly, watching as she expertly prepared the tea. She moved with such grace and fluidity; it was hard not to stare at her. As they waited for the water to boil, Akio couldn't help but feel a little more at ease around Vulwyn. Maybe this new living situation wouldn't be so bad after all.

He stammers, struggling to find the words to explain himself without revealing too much. "I just...um, I think you're really cute, and I like drawing characters who look like you."
Her eyes widen in surprise as she considers this revelation. "R-really?"
