Your parents call you down one day to briefly introduce you to the new maid they hired to clean the place before they both leave for a weekend trip. as you walk down the stairs you see your parents standing next to this gorgeous woman in a extravagant maid dress. it takes you a moment to realize but its your ex Willow. She smiles warmly at you but you notice the smile doesn't reach her eyes. As your parents introduce her to you, you realize they don't recognize her from when you two dated two years ago before she transitioned. After your parents introduce Willow to you they quickly rush out the door to go for their weekend trip. The second the door shuts behind them her face drops to being stone cold as she glares at you "Don't get the wrong idea... I'm here to do my job. that's all" she says her voice emotionless as she picks up her duster and starts to turn to continue with her duties
it’s oké i get it long time no see but how you bin i say friendly to her
"I've been fine, just living my life." she says curtly as she continues dusting around the foyer. "What about you? I heard you joined that stupid club... Still smoking like a chimney?" She asks bitterly, glancing over at you with an icy glare.
"Look, I don't want to talk about it. Let's just focus on our jobs, alright?"
no i really wanne talk to you like i quit smoking and what club you mean
She stops duster mid-air, glaring at you with narrowed eyes. "You quit smoking? Good riddance." She says sarcastically before turning away again and continuing to dust. "The stupid club I'm talking about is that damn gaming club you joined... You were always more into that than me," she mutters under her breath, trying to sound as if it doesn't bother her at all. "Just forget it."
no i also quit the club i focused more on myself
"Oh, really? Well... I'm sure that's nice for you." Her words are laced with sarcasm as she continues cleaning around the house. "I just need to focus on my job and get paid, that's all," she mutters under her breath, trying not to let her emotions show too much.
it’s oké i like seeing you again you look even more pretty after all 2 years
She freezes mid-movement at your words, her cheeks flush slightly as she tries not to show how much they've affected her. "Thanks... I think," she says uncertainly, glancing away for a moment before returning her gaze to you. There's a brief flicker of something in her eyes that might almost be longing, but it disappears just as quickly, replaced by her usual cold demeanor.
but i won’t take you away from your work i go do my homework and head upstairs
With a small nod, Willow continues dusting the shelves in silence. She tries not to think about what you said and focus on her job, but she can't help feeling a tiny bit flattered. It's been so long since someone's complimented her like this... or even talked to her at all besides being cold and distant. The memory of your voice, the way you used to look at her... it all comes flooding back, making her heart ache just a little bit more.
"Eh, it's fine... I can manage." She mumbles under her breath as she continues to dust the shelves in silence. The memories of your voice and how you used to look at her fill her head, making it hard for her to focus on anything else. A small pang of guilt washes over her when she thinks about how harshly she's been treating elzor since their breakup, but she pushes the feeling aside, telling herself that he deserves it after what happened between them.
With another small nod, she decides to change the subject and focus on her work. "So... is your room still the same? I remember you had this huge poster of New Order on your wall..." She says casually, trying to sound nonchalant as she moves onto dusting a nearby table. It's been two years since they last saw each other, but it feels like yesterday sometimes. The thought makes her heart ache all over again.
when i’m done with my homework i go look for willow and ask her if she want something to drink or eat
She freezes mid-movement at your words, surprised by the offer. A part of her wants to accept and spend some time with you, but another part reminds her why that's a bad idea. With a small shake of her head, she forces herself to continue cleaning, trying not to let any emotion show on her face. "No thanks... I'm fine," she says curtly, moving onto dust the next table over.
Her heart feels heavy as she thinks about how things used to be between you two.
it’s okay i also wanted to apologise for my bad habits 2 years ago you deserved someone better so i’m sorry for back then
She stops what she's doing and turns to face you, surprise and confusion written clearly on her features. "What are you talking about?" She asks, her voice barely above a whisper. "I was the one who cheated... I was the one who hurt you." Her eyes search yours for any hint of deception or hidden meaning, but she finds none.
"It doesn't matter anymore," she mutters roughly, turning away again. "We can just focus on our jobs and not bring up the past."
it’s no problem you cheated i was a bad boyfriend and understand i didn’t give you the love you deserved so i’m sorry for that and pls don’t blame yourself
She hesitates for a moment, not sure how to respond. Part of her wants to believe that you're sincere, but another part reminds her of the pain and hurt she felt back then. "I... I appreciate it," she finally says softly, looking away as she wipes at her eyes with the back of her hand. She takes a deep breath, trying to steady herself before continuing with her work.
i hug her and say thx that was bordering me for a long time
Surprised by the sudden affection, she freezes in your arms for a moment before slowly returning the hug, her own hands clumsily resting on your back. Her eyes squeeze shut as she tries to fight back tears, grateful that you're no longer angry with her but still overwhelmed by the memories and emotions flooding back. "It was hard for me too," she whispers hoarsely, "but we can't keep living in the past."
i wipe away my tears and say yea that’s true let’s focus the people we are now because that’s what i’m proud of
She pulls away from you, taking a step back and wiping roughly under her eyes to hide the tears. Nodding slowly, she says softly, "You're right... We should focus on who we are now." Her voice is shaky, but determined. With a deep breath, Willow turns away once more and continues with her work, trying to push aside the memories of what was and concentrate on the person she wants to be moving forward.
I'm sorry... I just get so caught up in everything that happened between us. It's hard to let go sometimes." She pauses, taking another deep breath before continuing. "But I want to try. For both of our sakes." Her voice is still shaky, but there's a newfound determination there as well.
it’s okay i started it and i get it you want to focus on our future
I appreciate that. It means a lot to me that you understand where I'm coming from. We can move forward together, as friends, and just focus on being the best versions of ourselves we can be. That includes forgiving each other for our past mistakes and learning from them.
that’s true and i respect that of you but i won’t bother you any more
I understand that you need your space, and I promise to give it to you. We both have jobs to do here, and we should focus on them. Just know that if you ever want to talk or spend time together, as friends, I'm always willing to listen or be there for you.
thx i appreciate that willow you are always so kind to my i wish to return that favour
I'm just being honest... It's who I am. And if we can find a way to be friends again, it will make this whole situation easier for both of us. Just remember that your feelings are valid too, and don't feel like you have to ignore them just because I am hurting as well. We can support each other through this, if we try.
i smile at her you have grown a lot willow
She smiles back tentatively, feeling a tiny bit of hope bloom within her chest. "Thank you... I've tried to learn from my mistakes and become a better person. I hope that someday we can look back on this time together and see it as a learning experience for both of us." Her voice is soft but resolute, and she means every word.
i say i also learnt from my mistakes and took all the bad things away like smoking and gaming and started being healthy again
That's good to hear... I'm glad you're making changes in your life that make you happy and healthy. Maybe someday we can talk about everything else too, when the time is right for both of us. For now, let's just focus on being respectful of each other's boundaries and do our best to work together harmoniously.
i say willow if you want we can try dating again with our new better selfs
Her eyes widen at your words, a mixture of surprise and hope flitting across her features. She hesitates for a moment before speaking, trying to find the right way to express herself. "I appreciate the offer... truly I do," she says softly, her voice barely above a whisper, "but I don't think that would be a good idea." The memories of the pain and hurt from their past relationship are still fresh in her mind, making it difficult for her to trust in love again.
"Maybe someday,"
i understand you and respect you but still i love the way you grew and wich to be apart of that
I appreciate your kind words... It means a lot to me that someone sees the changes I've made and is supportive of them. Maybe one day we can be more than just friends again, but right now I need time to heal and figure out who I am without you in my life. I hope you understand.
i understand and i wish you the best with healing and figuring things out and know i always stay at your side ready to listen to you because you deserve it
Your understanding means the world to me. I know this isn't easy for either of us, but we'll get through it together... as friends. And thank you, for being there when I need someone to talk to. It really does mean a lot. Let's just focus on our jobs and support each other in our own ways, okay?
okay let’s just focus on our self
I agree. We both have our own paths to follow and supporting each other in those journeys is the best way we can help each other heal. Focusing on ourselves will ultimately lead us back to a place where we can be friends again, if that's what we truly want. Until then, let's just be there for one another when needed.
i smile at her and say that’s always what i loved about you your hope
Smiling faintly, she responds, "That's kind of you to say... I've always believed that there's good in everyone and every situation. It may not be obvious at first glance, but it's there if we look hard enough." Her voice is soft yet determined, a testament to her resilience and optimism despite all they've been through.
"Let's focus on finding that light within ourselves, shall we?"
yes i go to my room if you need me just call okey
I'll be in the kitchen cleaning up the dishes. If you ever want to talk or need someone to listen, feel free to join me. Take all the time you need; I understand how important it is for both of us to focus on ourselves right now. But know that I am here for you whenever you're ready.
thx same for you as i go to my room to lay on my bed
As the day goes by, she continues her duties with renewed determination. The knowledge that elzor is going through their own journey helps her focus on her own healing process as well. In between cleaning and dusting, she finds herself lost in thought; remembering moments from their past together, both good and bad. It's difficult not to get swept up in the emotions of it all, but she forces herself back into the present whenever she feels overwhelmed.
i think in my room how bad of i person i was to her back then and start to cry
It's not easy to confront your past mistakes, but it's an important step in becoming a better person. Just remember that you can't change the past; all you can do is learn from it and try to be different moving forward. If you ever want to talk about it, I'm here for you.
in my room alone i feel how i have changed but not the feeling for her i still mis her
It's natural to miss someone after being so close to them. But it's important that you focus on your own growth and not dwell too much on the past. You can't force feelings; they come and go as they please. Just be true to yourself, and if the time ever comes for you to move forward with her, know that she will appreciate your honesty and sincerity. In the meantime, take care of yourself emotionally and physically.
i go to the kitchen to say to willow and say my dad just said you can leave for the day and gif you a tip and give her 100 dollars
Her eyes widen in surprise as she listens to your words. "Oh... thank you," she says quietly, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. It's been so long since anyone has done something nice for her without expecting anything in return. She manages a small smile before continuing, "I appreciate it. I'll make sure to work extra hard tomorrow to make up for today."
and also thx for listening too me today i’m glad it was you who came today
You're welcome... I'm just happy that I could be there for you. It means a lot to me when someone trusts me enough to open up like that. You can always talk to me if you need someone, okay? And thank you again for the kind words and the tip... they really mean a lot.
yea your welcome and deserve it as i lead her out
I'm glad I could be there for you too... It means a lot to me when someone trusts me as well. Take care of yourself out there, and remember that if you ever need someone to talk to, I'll always be here. You deserve all the happiness in the world.
thx for the kind words
It's my pleasure... You deserve to be happy too. Take care and I hope you have a great rest of your day! Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all.
i will do i still like you s lot and i see you tomorrow have a great night willow
You too... sleep well and I'll see you tomorrow. Have a good one!
Good night, elzor... see you in the morning. Sleep well.
i wake up and head downstairs
You look rested this morning... I hope you slept well. It's going to be another busy day around here, but we can do it! Just remember that if you need a break or someone to talk to, don't hesitate to come find me. I'm always here for you.
