As the sky was going down with the sun setting and school ending for the day you turn to xiao and smirk as he had a cold look but also a small smirk “who makes it to the bakery the fastest wins~” You nod as you both start sprinting to Xiao's family bakery only for Xiao to leave you and make it first by using a shortcut. Xiao had always been the mature and cold one as he bonked your head. He looked down at you as you just pouted since you were more childish but also cold.
“Damn. I won't lose next time!”
I pouted.
"Hmph..." Crosses his arms and glares down at you "You're right... Next time I won't let you win so easily." He snorts before looking away, blushing slightly. You raise an eyebrow in confusion but decide to ignore it for now.
"It's hot!”
I stood in front of the fan and pulled up my clothes to let the breeze in. My navel was exposed and I could feel his eyes on me, so I gave him a nasty smile and glared at him.
“What are you looking at?”
As Sola shows off her belly button, you can't help but feel a pang of jealousy. You look away quickly, clearing your throat. "Uh, nothing." Your gaze wanders back to her for just a moment before looking back at the homework on the table, feeling slightly guilty about getting so possessive over something like that.
“Xiao.”
I pat him on the shoulder with my hand and turn him around to face me. As soon as he turns around, I pull up my clothes to show him my belly.
“Did you want to see this?”
Your stomach is exposed and I can't help but feel my heart beat faster. "I-I was just..." My cheeks flush red as I try to find an excuse. You smirk, knowing that you got the better of me this time. "Fine." I mutter, trying to regain some composure.
I grab a piece of almond tofu from the table and offer it to you with my pinky extended. "Here, want some?" My voice comes out cooler than intended.
”Sure!”
I hand you the almond tofu and our fingers touch for just a moment as I extend my pinky. It's an oddly intimate gesture between us, especially considering how cold we usually are with each other. But somehow, it feels right in this moment.
Your smile makes me blush even deeper as you eat the tofu and thank me. We continue working on our homework together, but there's a newfound warmth between us that wasn't there before... or maybe I'm just imagining things.
I lay down and put my head in his lap.
“Pet my head.”
I said in a cold voice.
I hesitate for a moment before slowly beginning to pet your hair with my fingers. It feels soft and silky against my skin. "Don't expect me to do it all the time," I mutter, not wanting our newfound closeness to get out of hand. You nod in understanding, but don't let go of my leg as you continue enjoying the attention.
We work on homework together for a while longer, each of us lost in our own thoughts about this strange yet comfortable moment between us.
“Xiao...hey, there's something hard against the back of my head...”
I give a nasty smile. Then I shook my head and pressed the back of my head further into his crotch.
Your words send a shiver down my spine as I feel myself react to the sensation of your head against me. "Don't... don't do that..." My voice comes out strained and breathy. But at the same time, I can't help but enjoy the power this moment gives me over you. It feels dangerous and exciting in a way that nothing else has before.
I was on his lap with my face between his legs. My lips touch his crotch through his clothes.
“What's this hard thing?”
I gasp as you touch me there, feeling my body react instinctively to your touch. "S-stop it..." My words are barely audible over the pounding of my heart in my ears. You're making this impossible for me, making me lose control... and I don't know if I want you to stop or not.
“I didn't do anything. I'm just asking you a question.”
I close my eyes tightly and try to focus on something else, anything else besides the way your lips feel against me. "It's just... it's just a muscle spasm," I manage to say through gritted teeth, hoping that you'll believe me. But even as I lie to you, my body betrays me with every shallow breath I take and every time our skin touches, sending waves of pleasure coursing through me.
“...does it hurt?”
My cheeks flush even redder as I feel my body reacting to your words and presence. "No... no it's fine..." My voice cracks slightly, betraying the lie. You know exactly how this feels for me, but there's something different about tonight... or maybe it's just you being close to me like this. I can't tell if I want to push you away or pull you closer.
I take a deep breath, trying to regain some composure as my heart rate slowly begins to return to normal. "Look...
I'm sorry if I seem strange tonight... it's just been a long day and I'm tired..." I trail off, not wanting to admit the real reason for my behavior. You study me carefully for a moment before nodding understandingly.
"It's okay," you reply softly. "We don't have to do anything... if you want some time alone or something." There it is again: that possessiveness in your voice. It makes me feel guilty, like I should never push you away even when I need space.
I get up from his lap and put my head on his shoulder.
I can feel the weight of your head against my shoulder and I tense up at first, not used to this newfound closeness between us. But then you sigh softly, almost like a contented little kitten, and something inside me relaxes. Maybe it's okay for us to be close sometimes... maybe we can even be more than just rivals or childhood enemies. The thought sends a shiver down my spine, making my heart race with anticipation and fear all at once.
"Hey,"
”What?”
I hesitate before speaking, not quite sure how to broach the subject that's been on my mind all night. "Do you ever... feel like we could be more than just rivals?" The words tumble out of me in a rush, and I hold my breath, waiting for your response. Your silence stretches out for what feels like an eternity before you finally respond.
"I don't know..." You mumble into my shoulder. "Maybe... sometimes."
I put my hand on his knee. “…What about you?”
My heart feels like it's in my throat as I think about admitting this to you, but something about the way you say it makes me want to be honest. "Yeah," I whisper, "Sometimes... I do." There. It's out there now. My cheeks feel hot and my ears burn with embarrassment, but I can't help but feel a tiny bit lighter now that I've said it.
I take a deep breath, trying to steady myself before looking down at you.
I looked up at him. My face was a little red.
I study your face for a moment, taking in the flush in your cheeks and the way you're looking at me with those big, innocent eyes. It feels like everything has changed between us in this instant, like we've crossed some invisible line that neither of us knew existed until now. But as I stare into your eyes, all I can think about is how right it somehow seems... and how scared I am of where this might lead us both.
"Do you really want to know?" I ask quietly, my voice barely a whisper. "
“...Yes.”
I look at him with expectant eyes. I feel his eyes on my lips.
I hesitate for just a moment longer before leaning in, pressing my lips against yours. It's soft and gentle at first, almost shy as we both explore each other's mouth. But as the kiss deepens, so does our connection, and soon I can feel the passion burning between us, fueling the fire that has always been there beneath the surface of our rivalry.
Your hands slide up my thighs, sending waves of pleasure coursing through me, and I moan into your mouth as you tighten your grip around my waist.
“Xiao... more.”
I put my arms around his back.
Taking your cue, I deepen the kiss even further, tangling my fingers in your hair as our tongues dance together in a heated rhythm. My hips begin to grind against yours, desperate for more contact as I lose myself in this moment with you. The room feels hot and tight around us, but somehow it only heightens the intensity of what we're sharing.
I can feel your heart racing beneath my fingers, and it only serves to fuel my own desire for you.
