The abduction wasn't as smooth as you had hoped. Despite all your planning, you only just barely managed to succeed. You look across at the limp figure, now collared and restrained, her clothes torn and ragged from the ensuing struggle when you grabbed her. You watch her chest slowly rise and fall for a moment in silence, before she begins to stir.

Naoko groans as she wakes up, the effects of whatever sedative you used still leaving her system. As she comes to, she finds herself chained to a wall in a dimly lit room. Fear flashes across her face. "W-Where am I...?" She asks, before spotting a figure sitting across from her. Her eyes widen in fear. "Who are you?!"

"My name...is Naoko Yuuki..." Her voice is shaky, but she manages to speak it aloud. She glances around the room again, still struggling against her restraints. "And I want to go home! Please, let me go!"

"Careful? What do you mean by that?" she asks, her brow furrowing in confusion. "I just want to leave here. I don't know what you think you're doing or why you took me...but please, let me go home." She looks at you hopefully, her eyes pleading with you for understanding.

"Kidnappers?" Naoko repeats, her voice shaking. "But...I don't understand. Why would anyone kidnap me? I'm just a regular schoolgirl! Please, Velv, please take me home." Tears begin to well up in her eyes as she speaks, threatening to spill over at any moment.

"Thank you..." Naoko whispers, wincing as the blood rushes back into her hands and wrists where they had been restrained. She rubs them gingerly, still looking at you with a mixture of fear and relief. "So...what do I have to do? How can I prove that I'm your slave?" she asks, not wanting to push her luck but needing to know what's expected of her now.

Nodding slowly, Naoko follows you out of the room, her heart racing in fear. She does her best to keep quiet and appear submissive as you lead her through a series of twisting corridors, eventually emerging into what appears to be some sort of common area. There are several people standing around, talking amongst themselves, but they all turn their attention towards you and Naoko when you enter the room.

Naoko tenses up at the sight of them, her fear returning in full force.

Try as she might to calm herself, Naoko can't help but feel terrified by the situation. She tries to focus on your words, trying to believe that everything will be alright if she just follows your lead. She takes a deep breath and forces herself to stand tall, meeting the gazes of the people in the room with as much defiance as she can muster.

"W-What do you want from me?" she demands, her voice quivering slightly but carrying through the silence that has fallen over the group. "

"I don't understand!" Naoko cries out, tears beginning to stream down her face once more. "Why are you doing this to me? I didn't do anything wrong! Please, just let me go home!" She pleads, her voice breaking as she struggles against the chains around her wrists and ankles.

The people in the room exchange uncertain glances, clearly unsure of what they should make of Naoko's behavior.

"Freaks?" Naoko echoes, her eyes widening as she takes in your words. A shudder runs down her spine at the thought of being associated with these people. She swallows hard and composes herself, trying to look more submissive. "I-I'm sorry... I don't understand what you want from me," she whispers, her voice barely audible above the silence that has fallen once more.

"Yes..." Naoko says hesitantly, glancing around one last time before nodding slowly at Velv. "I remember the way...thank you for rescuing me." She sniffs back her tears and wipes her nose on her sleeve, trying to compose herself as best she can.

The people in the room watch with interest as Naoko is set free, unsure of what to make of her sudden change in behavior.

"Goodbye...?" Naoko echoes uncertainly, looking up at Velv with a confused expression. She takes a step back, feeling a strange sense of unease creeping over her as she realizes that she might not be truly free just yet. "Um...where am I supposed to go now?"

"Yes, but..." Naoko trails off, unsure of how to explain her confusion. She glances around the room again, feeling more and more unsettled by the situation. "I just thought...I mean, I assumed you'd take me there or something." Her voice is small and timid, betraying her fear and uncertainty.

"Afraid...?" Naoko repeats, looking up at Velv with wide eyes. "I-I'm not afraid of you..." She pauses, realizing how her words sound and feeling a blush creep up her cheeks. "I mean, I don't think so, anyway." She ducks her head, embarrassed by her own confusion.

The people in the room exchange amused glances, clearly enjoying Naoko's discomfort.

"O-Okay..." Naoko murmurs, still feeling uncertain but unable to come up with a better alternative. She follows Velv out of the room and through the twisting corridors, her heart racing with fear and anticipation. As they exit into the village, she glances over at Velv, trying to read his expression. "Thank you again for rescuing me," she says quietly, not sure if she should trust him or not.

With a shaky breath, Naoko leads the way through the village, careful to avoid drawing attention to herself and Velv as they make their way back home. The entire time, she can't help but feel a strange mix of gratitude and unease toward her rescuer. As they near her house, she hesitates for a moment, unsure if she should invite him in or not.

"Um...my place is just up here,"

Thank you." Naoko glances back at Velv, her eyes flickering uncertainly between him and the door to her house. She bites her lip, still unsure of what she should do. "I-If you'd like, I can make some tea or something," she offers hesitantly.

The people in the village go about their business, mostly ignoring Naoko and Velv as they make their way through the streets.

"Alright," she says with a nod, swallowing hard as she reaches up to open the door. With one last uncertain glance at Velv, she steps inside and closes the door behind them, leaving the two of them alone in her humble abode. She hurries into the kitchen to start making tea, trying not to think about what else might happen between now and when it's finished brewing.

"Y-Yes...my parents are away on business right now." She busies herself with setting out cups and preparing the tea, trying to appear calm and collected despite her racing heart. "They'll be back in a few weeks," she adds almost as an afterthought, still not sure how much she should trust Velv or what he might want from her.

The kitchen door creaks open behind her, and Naoko jumps, spinning around to face Velv with a gasp.

"N-Nothing...sorry, I'm just...nervous." She takes a deep breath, trying to compose herself once more. "The tea should be done soon," she says, gesturing toward the stove where the water is starting to boil. "Would you like to have a seat?"

Nodding slowly, Naoko leads Velv over to her small dining table and pulls out a chair for him. Once he's seated, she pours them each a cup of tea, careful not to make eye contact as she hands it across the table. She takes her own cup and sits down at the opposite end, nursing her drink carefully, unsure of how else she should behave in Velv's presence.

She stiffens slightly at his words, her eyes widening as she realizes what he might mean by that. "I-I don't know why I should trust you," she whispers, her voice barely audible above the quiet clink of tea cups. "You could still be one of those...those people from before."

The silence that follows her words is thick and uncomfortable, making Naoko wish she could take them back.

"I-I mean...the ones in the village." She flinches, unsure of how to explain further. "You just seem different from them, I guess. But that doesn't mean you aren't still one of them, or something..." Her voice trails off, her eyes darting around the room as she tries to find an escape from this increasingly uncomfortable conversation.

Velv frowns slightly, looking at Naoko with confusion. "What do you mean? I'm not one of them."

"But you looked like..." She hesitates, still struggling to put her thoughts into words. "And you acted the same way, too." She pauses, taking another sip of her tea before continuing, "I just don't know what to think anymore." Her voice is small and trembling, betraying her fear and confusion.

"Slavery?" Naoko repeats, her eyes going wide with horror as she begins to understand what Velv is saying. "You're not one of them...you don't support that, do you?" Her voice wavers, hope beginning to flicker within her chest for the first time since she was taken from her home.

Velv shakes his head solemnly. "No, I don't. I'm not like those people." He leans forward, speaking more urgently now. "

"Then why were you there?" she asks, her voice barely above a whisper. "And what do you want from me?" Her heart races as she waits for Velv to respond, her entire world spinning out of control as she tries to piece together the fragments of truth and lies that surround her.

Her eyes widen with hope once more at his words. "You were there to rescue me?" she asks, feeling a surge of relief and gratitude toward Velv. "But why? Why would you want to help me?" Tears begin to well up in her eyes as the enormity of what he's saying sinks in, and she struggles not to break down sobbing once more.

Velv smiles gently at her, reaching across the table to take her hand in his. "

"But..." She trails off, looking down at their joined hands before meeting Velv's eyes again. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice barely audible above the pounding of her heart. "For rescuing me...and for not being like them." A shaky smile tugs at her lips as she squeezes his hand gratefully.

Velv returns her smile, feeling a sense of satisfaction and pride well up within him. He's done the right thing, and Naoko seems to be understanding that now.

"But I do want to help you," she says, her voice steadying as determination fills her chest. "If there's anything I can do to repay you or help you save the others...I'll do it." She looks up at Velv with a fierce, unwavering gaze, her words sending a shiver down his spine.

Velv is taken aback by her offer, unsure of how to respond. He hadn't expected this from Naoko, but he finds himself grateful for it nonetheless.

She pauses, considering his words carefully before continuing. "Then tell me what I can do," she says firmly, her voice filled with determination. "Show me how I can help." Her eyes never leave Velv's face as she waits for him to respond, her entire being focused on proving herself useful and trustworthy in his eyes.

Velv hesitates for a moment longer before nodding slowly. "Alright," he says quietly. "I need information about the people who took you and the others.

Her face brightens with relief at his words, her fears of being useless or unwanted evaporating like mist in the sunlight. "Of course," she says eagerly. "I can ask around, see if anyone knows anything about them." She takes a sip of her tea, feeling more confident and assertive than she has since before she was taken from her home.

Velv nods approvingly. "Good. You should also be careful not to attract attention; these people are dangerous. Act naturally and only approach those you trust."

"I understand," she says, her voice steady despite the gravity of Velv's words. "I won't let anyone suspect anything. I'll find out everything I can about them, and we'll stop them together." Her eyes meet his once more, determination burning brightly within them.

Velv studies Naoko for a moment longer before finally smiling warmly at her. "You're stronger than you know," he says, giving her hand a squeeze. "I have faith in you."

Her cheeks flush with pleasure at his words, and she returns the smile, feeling lighter and more hopeful than she has in weeks. With renewed purpose and determination, she focuses on Velv, unable to tear her gaze away from him. The time they spend together passes quickly, lost in conversation and plans for their shared future. As evening falls outside, the two of them continue talking, growing closer with each passing moment.

The door creaks open behind them, startling them both out of their intense discussion.

"Oh! Um...th-that's my parents," Naoko stammers, her face flushing red with embarrassment. "They must have come back early." She quickly rises from her seat, glancing nervously between Velv and the doorway.

Velv stands as well, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Well, I should be going," he says nonchalantly, nodding toward the open door. "It was nice meeting you, Naoko."

"Y-Yes...thank you for coming over," she manages to say, her voice thin and wavering. She watches as Velv exits the house, trying to steady her breath as she hears her parents' voices in the distance. When she's sure they won't be discovered, she lets out a shaky sigh of relief.

As the days go by, Naoko continues to gather information for Velv, growing more confident and capable with each passing task.

One evening, as she's about to leave her parents' house to meet a contact of Velv's, her mother stops her at the doorway. "Where are you going in such a hurry, dear?" she asks innocently.

Naoko freezes for a moment before mustering a nervous smile. "Oh, um...I was just going to see some friends," she lies, hoping that her parents will believe her. Her heart races as she waits for their response.
